Professional, responsive and considerate
I had a fantastic Safari in Masai Mara thanks to Lucy and the team. Lucy was extremely professional, responsive and considerate. Moreover, Lucy went extra miles to help answer and plan my time in Nairobi, even thought I booked only the Masai Mara activities. Our game drive to Masai Mara was very friendly and knowledgeable, through whom we learnt a lot about Kenya and Masai Mara. Last but not least, the Safari quote was detailed, straightforward and its pricing was fair (in my point of view) and transparent. I highly recommend Savannah Woods Safari if you’re new to Kenya and/or Safari.

Very well organized safari and Musa is the best!
We had a private safari booked with 4 people for 3 days. The communication upfront with Lucy was excellent. She reacted very fast and to the point on all questions. The lodge where we stayed was great: very clean, luxurious and very good food, friendly people. Our guide Musa was the best! Experienced, knowing all people and places to go to, we spotted a lot of wildlife, and a very good driver. Overall we had a great experience!

The best safari I’ve ever been!
Highly recommend the savannah wood company, the best safari I’ve ever been. The driver was very dedicated to his job and showed us so many animals from very close distance. He had a huge knowlende about Masai Mara National Park. The best time I’ve ever spent! Hope to be back again!

Perfect experience!
Everything went perfect with Savannah Woods Safaris. The communication upfront with Lucy gave you a good and safe feeling about traveling to Africa for the first time. Going on safari with the best guide and National park expert Patrick was simply stunning. We saw every animal we wanted to see and upclose enough to get a glimpse of these amazing creatures. Patrick was very knowledgeable, he shared with us useful information in regards to the animals and the parkin general. The safari was satisfying as we couldn't ask for more. Thank you Savannah Woods Safaris for a perfectly executed trip.

We were nervous about going through a foreign company, but in the end we were really glad we did. Not only does the money get invested in the country and goes to the people who actually need it, but Safari Update Travels gave us a fantastic experience.
We dealt with Lucy from the office and he was patient and prompt. Our first stop was at Masai Mara where we had a guide, Simon who was excellent and we were sad to see him go when we switched parks. I would definitely recommend Simon.
Savannah Woods Safaris also took care of the little things, like a transfer from the airport to our hotel and then to the restaurant Carnivore - our package also included a prepaid dinner at Carnivore which was a nice surprise to finish off the Safari.
I have no hesitation recommending Savannah Woods Safaris and am working on my parents to use them when they travel to Africa. Well Done!

Best Safari!
I was in Nairobi for a short visit and I decided to do the morning safari at the Nairobi National Park because I've heard great things about it. This was my first time going for a safari and I have to say, I wasn't disappointed. The landscapes were stunning, the animals were spectacular. We were able to see zebras, lions, giraffes, and even the very rare animal rhino. It was absolutely wonderful. Our guide Mark was smart, funny, very knowledgeable and polite. The experience was so wonderful that I recommended a friend for the same tour. He travelled the following weekend and also enjoyed the experience. Thank you Savannah Woods Safaris for this wonderful experience, one that I will always remember.

Amazing 3 days 2 nights Safari in Mara!
We had a great time on our safari to Masai Mara. Josephat played a huge role in making sure our safari was well organized and ensured our safety during the whole safari. Our guide John was very professional and answered all our questions in a polite manner. He took us to Mara river during the full day to witness nature at its best as this was the main purpose for visiting. We saw most of the big five; Lions, Buffaloes Leopard and elephants. The wildlife and nature in Masai Mara was amazing. The camp we were booked in was very safe and cozzy. We highly recommend Savannah Woods Safaris for those visiting Kenya as they organize and offer amazing safari packages. Special thanks to Josephat and John.

Best safari to Masai Mara!
Lucy from Savannah Woods Safari really helped us plan our itinerary to Masai Mara. The entire 3 days were full of activity much more than we expected. David was an excellent host. He greeted us warmly at the airstrip in Masai Mara. The safari tour started immediately after we arrived, we saw a bunch of animals on the way to our camp. His knowledge of the animals, including identifying all the bird species made the trip memorable. David was prompt and courteous throughout our tour. We recommend taking a safari 4*4 Jeep as it allows you to see all areas of the park with full visibility of the animals because of the pop up rooftop. We would highly recommend Savannah Woods Safaris and David for our next safari.
Robert was very helpful and responsive in developing the plan as well. We had a great time in Kenya and Mara.

Enjoyed the safari
I liked every bit of the safari. It must be one of the best things to do while in Nairobi. There's so much wildlife next to the city, and a real wildlife safari. The afternoon tour we did was amazing, our guide Peter did the best to trace a pride of lions that were feeding their kill at the bush. The city skyscrapers beautify the horizon at the park. Its view is wonderful, don't hesitate to book with Savannah Woods Safaris to get this kind of experience.
