Dream Africa Safari come true
5/5

This was our first ever holiday to Africa all the way from Portugal. From the time I started talking to azas safaris uganda team , from customary made itinerary, planning and communication was excellent.

We mostly preferred camping , and each camp had incredible staff , view , guides and accommodation. The food was amazing, uganda has organic food.
At each location we sighted different animal species , birds and plant life.

The organization of each camp were amazing, we enjoyed cultural diversity of Uganda , batwa people in Bwindi had an amazing story , Bigodi community activities in kibale national park was amazing.
And the highlight of all , gorilla trekking, what an amazing experience, it was worth every moment.

Thank you to each staff at azas safaris uganda and all people we had on our trip. We shall always share this experience.

The staff at azas safaris was amazing ! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone
5/5

Our trip to Uganda and Rwanda was amazing , at first we were hesitant to book via Safari booking because it was our first time , but we found azas safaris Uganda , they really had good itineraries. We chose a trip to Rwanda but simon customized it and added uganda. Double gorilla trekking (Uganda + Rwanda ) was phenomenal. Everything was arranged and coordinated perfectly.

It was an amazing experience not to worry about the quality of accommodation, the transport means and timely replies . We just focused on enjoying the trip. Jimmy our guide was amazing, he is well trained guide and driver
We absolutely recommend them to everyone
Thank you so much all.

Fabulous on-the-ground experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
5/5

Our 3-day fly-in Gorilla safari was an amazing experience. Adam, their driver/guide in Bwindi, is a fabulous representative for them and for Uganda as a whole. He could not have done more for us, and was completely reliable and there for us with information and support. Our accommodation at Mahogany Springs could not be improved on - it was simply the best - impeccable service, super friendly staff, brilliant rooms, and great food. Salvan, our local guide for the Community walk and the Batwa people visit, was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely pleasant to be around. What can I say about the Gorillas? WOW, what an unbelievable experience and a privilege to be able to experience. The organisation of the walk was first rate, our ranger guides were personable, helpful and supportive. They made the walk into the Gorillas, even the uphill bits, very enjoyable. I had a porter who carried my backpack and was always there with a helping hand and a push on the steep bits, for which I was very grateful. All in all, a fabulous on-the-ground experience.

Up until arrival in Uganda, I was the point of contact via email with Azas Safaris for our group of three, and they were always prompt in responding and answering my question fully which we all appreciated. On arrival in Uganda, they suddenly switched to WhatsApp messaging with another (male) member of the group, and things fell a bit apart in terms of what was promised (and included in the price). Our hotel in Entebbe got us to the airport in time for our flight, after Azas said they would pick us up half an hour before departure. They also brought our stored luggage to the airport for us on return. Both of these had been promised by Azas. We are all seasoned travellers so working with our hotel was no problem for us, but really might have been so for less experienced people.

The only other criticism, and it's minor in the whole scheme of things, is that they could have provided more information about the number of times we were expected to put our hands in our pockets while on the local walks. Australians do not have a tipping culture, and it was a bit embarrassing to not have sufficient small local currency with us.

Would we recommend Azas Safaris to other travellers - we most certainly would!! An unforgettable experience!!

We went for a 4days cultural tour as a family and I'm sure they all got satisfied.
They had comfortable vehicles and their guide Henry was hospitable and had updated information.

Good value and service
5/5

Booked this budget trip last minute and was very happy with my trip around the west and south west of Uganda. Considering the money I paid for the trip, I was pleasantly surprised by the good standard of accommodation and food and the guides were courteous and professional. I would definitely consider using Azas Safaris again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent safari company
5/5

After a work meeting in Kampala I had a week to take in the sights of Uganda. Searching the internet from London, I was overwhelmed by a dazzling array of safari companies all offering the 'best service'. It was difficult to figure out which companies were local verses international and which were reliable. A friend in London, who is originally Ugandan, recommended Azas Safaris to me as a new local company that was hiring young local staff. From the moment I contacted them I could not have been happier - their service was excellent, they were responsive, provided great advice, and were willing to work within my budget and time frame. They organised a trip for me around Bwindi national park to trek with the gorillas, Queen Elizabeth national park where I fell asleep to the sound of the hippos, and Kibale national park to trek with the chimpanzees and see many other primate species. The vehicle was in good condition, the driver was brilliant - safe, reliable, on time, helpful, really knowledgable, always available without being intrusive, really excellent. The trip was well planned and they responded to any changes I requested along the way. The accommodation they booked was always beyond my expectations. From the planning to the end of the trip I honestly could not more highly recommend the great team as Azas! I will definitely be planning a return trip and will have no hesitation in booking with them again - in fact I wouldn't dream of booking with anyone else for any trip (short or long) in Uganda. In addition the trip was really good value for money and worked out a lot cheaper than other options I had looked at before contacting them - even for similar itineraries and accommodation. Azas Safaris made my trip truly wonderful and I am very grateful! Thank you team.
