Uganda land of the primates.
Azas Safaris. The trip was well planned with excellent service and at a great price.
Uganda is a fantastic country full of surprises. We traveled primarily to see primates, but were surprised at how much more this beautiful country has to offer from stunning scenery to beautiful lakes, we managed to see much more than we ever imagined on this well planned tour with Azas Safaris.
Chris our guide was very professional and knowledgeably, he always had a best interests at heart and went that extra mile to ensure we had a great time.
Our tour included Gorilla, Chimpanzee, and Golden monkey trekking, Rhino trekking, several game drives in 3 different national parks all of which were amazing and Chris did everything he could to make sure we got to see lots of different animals, we never felt rushed.
We visited local villages, where we were made to feel very welcome, we even tried the local drink (fermented porrage) I'll leave it up to you to try, and make your own mind up. We also visited a local school and spoke with the children in class.
The accommodation was all of a decent standard and the food served was plentiful.
All in all i would definitely recommend Azas-safaris not only for its friendly and professional staff but also for the fantastic tour it put together for us.
Keep up the good work

They did a really great job making an amazing tour for me.
Prisca was always very responsive every time I messaged him with a question before and during the trip. He was also able to adapt the trip really well when two others on my tour had to cancel at the last minute.
Christopher my driver and tour guide was an excellent driver and great at solving any problems around fitting activities in and working around what I wanted to prioritise.
The trip was also good value. The gorilla and chimpanzee permits are locked in prices so there’s not much they can do about that but everything else seemed very reasonable.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, but I would recommend more time at lake Bunyonyi. Also, the Chimpanzee trekking was a little disappointing as the chimps were up in the trees for the entire hour. Not much you can do about that though, and some other people said that the chimps had spent a lot more time on the ground when they were there. There might be other good (and cheaper) places to try chimp trekking. Just ask Prisca, he’s good at accommodating your needs!
All in all, I can recommend this tour and Christopher to anyone!

Great value with an awesome Team
Even though I contacted Azas on a very short notice, they managed to organize me an awesome tour leaving a few days later.
I had a great time with a very good value for money.
Compared to an other tour I did was this more value for less money.
Al the accommodations were well selected and the tour itinerary was planed very good (not too much to get overwhelmed).
I would definitely do it again and recommend Azas to everyone who wants to do a safari.
Webale Nyo (thank you very much) for the great time.

Simon and Chris have organized everything great!
It was a great round trip through Uganda over eight days, we have seen and experienced a lot. Safaris, boat trips, hikes, markets. We also visited the locals, who welcomed us very nicely. The highlight was the gorilla trekking. Our guides Simon and Chris were always there for us and planned the accommodations and tours for us. It was a very great experience.
AZAS safaris is friendly, capable and very pleasant.
I’m very glad I chose Azas safaris. My trip was smooth, everything was according to the plan, my guide was friendly and professional and I learnt many new things. He seemed to know everything.
The communication was very easy via WhatsApp, my trip was shaped as I wished to, nothing was a problem. I appreciate the patience when I tried to ship the payment for the trip.
Azas even ordered me a birthday cake just as they learnt I was celebrating.
I would chose them again, if I came to Uganda.

Incredible
Did an 8 day tour around Uganda including many national parks and the Gorilla trecking. Was such an amazing experience and Simon and Chris made my trip so special. I traveled as a solo female and never have felt safer and more looked after. They found me a group to join, as I had asked, so I could find some travelling buddies. They even customised our trip to our liking. They were so thoughtful and communicated well with us. So much was included in the price such as water incredible food and accomodation! We stayed in incredible lodges even though it was a budget or mid range safari. Everyone was so accommodating everywhere we went. When we did game drives they made sure we could all find our favourite animals! Chris had sooo much knowledge about animals and Uganda. Not only that, Chris is a very safe driver and got us to each location on time as well. We really got a good taste of Uganda and its culture and nature! Uganda is an incredible country with soo much to offer.
We had great conversations along our journey and so many laughs. I have made friends with Simon (founder of Azas safari) and Chris (our driver and guide)! Simon and Chris are also young Ugandan entrepreneurs trying to make it big in the tourism industry. I hope more people book with Azas and help them accomplish their dream of becoming bigger as it still is a new and small company.

Great time spent
We spent 8 days on our tour through Uganda. All stops had its unique experience we don’t want to miss!
Uganda is a wonderful country and stunning in its diversity. Our guide Chris gave his best to create an excellent program for us. We even entered 3 times to queen Elisabeth Park so that we can see the lions there!
All in all it was worth to support this young organization in this rough times!
Wish you all the best for your future trips and many satisfied customers as we are.

Reliable AND AMAZING
In June together with my family we booked our trip to Uganda with azas safaris Uganda , we read about uganda and we were excited to visit the country especially to see gorillas . At the beginning of July 2022 we set off to uganda , and we were welcomed by Julius who is a guide , and he drove us to our hotel of residence around entebbe (anderita beach hotel) , the following morning we headed to our trip to western Uganda , it began from merchison falls national park , to kibale National park for chimpanzee tracking, then queen Elizabeth national park , then to bwindi impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking, it was our first time to see gorilla woow , it was amazing, our trip ended with Lake mburo national park , what a trip , Thank you azas safaris Uganda , thank you Julius for a great experience, such an experienced guide and a good driver.
Any time I come to Uganda , I will use azas Safaris Uganda, they provided us with good accommodation, the vehicle was good , the budget was favorable (we bargained to our best) , and Julius had all knowledge about wild life , primates , plants and birds.
Keep good work.
Uganda is amazing !

Unforgettable experience with very professional and kind staff
As a young solo female traveler, I’m always cautious about the tours I choose. My experience with Azas Safaris was exceptional. Prisca, Simon and Chris are all very professional and kind. I had to organise everything last minute due to change of travel plans, and they helped me all along, they were very flexible and suggested any modifications I needed, even for payment procedures. During the safari, we spent most of the time looking for elephants, my favorite animal, because they knew I wanted to see them mostly. They even asked the boat tour guide, which was a non private tour with other travelers, if we could stay longer in front of the elephants. They were all very respectful and helpful and I felt safe and happy the whole time. Their priority is to make you feel at home and have the best experience. Thank you all for everything, I’ll be back for sure, and when I am, I’ll book other tours with you!
