An Amazing Experience with Eastern Africa’s Best Operator
Azas Safaris Uganda are incredibly good at what they do ! They looked after my full
Itinerary from Uganda, Rwanda to Tanzania including Chimpanzee and Gorilla Treks , Game Drives , local tours, hotels , internal flights , guides and driver and meals.
I did lots of price comparisons and Azas was by far the best value . All the hotels were excellent and the tours, Treks and experiences they booked for me were very well planned and excellent choices .
Christopher my guide and driver for my 3 week trip was fantastic!!… he was very knowledgeable about the local area and culture , friendly and very professional. He went way above and beyond my expectations. I can’t thank Azas Safaris Uganda and Christopher enough for creating me an experience of a lifetime I’ll never forget ,
I would highly recommend Azas Safaris Uganda

Amazing 3 days with my wife. Thanks Simon!
Amazing 3 days in Tanzania, me and my wife had a dream to visit Tanzania and have a hot balloon flying around serengeti national park, Azas safaris made it possible . We contacted Prisca through a friend who did the same trip before and Prisca did the best for us, we were picked from Kilimanjaro airport, Cyrus our guide first took us to sight mountain Kilimanjaro and later headed to our lodge in Arusha , the following morning we headed to Serengeti national park, and had an evening game drive and we saw wonders, what a plenty of animals, many wild beasts, a lot of zebras, lions, Buffors, indeed Serengeti is a game park of wonders, the following morning which was our last day, we had a hot balloon safari, it's amazing , it's a recommendable activity to everyone dreaming of visiting Serengeti national park, thanks to our guide Cruys, he's so good in describing animals and their behaviors, he helped us too feel at home, and taught us some Kiswahili, habari :) meaning how are you.
We can't wait to visit Tanzania again, and also Uganda because Simon the owner of Azas described Uganda and we desired to visit it one day, I recommend Azas safaris Uganda.

Enjoyable trip to Uganda
Did a week trip with my partner to Uganda.
Visited Bwindi (Gorilla's) - stayed at Mahogany Springs Safari Lodge. The lodge was 10/10, food, service, view. Would love to go back.
During time in Bwindi we did the Batwa Culture Experience, really didn't know what do expect but was one of the highlights of the trip. The history is kind of sad but the people were amazing.
Gorilla trek - 10/10 no real need to explain.
Visited Kibale National Park. Started at Turaco Treetops, ideally would have stayed there longer, only one night which meant we missed out on spending more time with the birds and view. Food also excellent!
Finished at Murchison Falls National Park. Game drives was awesome, felt a lot more natural than in South Africa. River Cruise was spectacular, loads of birds and hippos, elephants etc. Stayed at Pakuba Safari Lodge, the lodge itself was the least modern of the three (although only one with air con), but the service was awesome. Food was mostly buffet but the standard of food was still very good. One thing I really enjoyed about Pakuba is all the guides eat dinner with the people they are hosting, there is something really nice about that.
Our guide was Muhumuza Christopher 'Chris'. His knowledge of Uganda history was excellent, his animal knowledge was also almost flawless (we did manage to spot one bird that neither he or we could identify and he spend 30 minutes looking through books, checking with fellow guides etc to make sure he gave us the right information), but probably his best skill was spotting animals. He spotted a lion in a tree that many other guides drove straight past and he could see small birds in trees miles away. If you are looking for someone who is an expert in guiding he is your guy.
Chris is also super passionate about Uganda which I really loved. There is nothing more special than someone that takes such pride in what their country has to offer.
Only a couple minor issues with the tour, they misbooked our return flight which meant we had to drive it. Not the biggest issue but a minor annoyance.
Secondly I think we could have done with a bit more guidance on the tour, we probably ended up travelling a bit more than we first thought, but also could have done with a bit more advice on where to go and the route to take. That being said I enjoyed every minute of it but some people might not want to sit in a car for so long.

Exceptional
We had an amazing trip to Uganda with Azas Safaris, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We went gorilla and chimpanzee trekking in Kibale and Bwindi National Parks. We also visited Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls National Park because we were also interested in other wild life. We were able to visit the Kazinga channel too, which we were not aware of prior. Prisca was a pleasure to communicate with beforehand, and she was always quick to respond to our emails and WhatsApp too . While we were on safari, Simon also got in touch with us to make sure everything was going well. Jimmy, our tour guide, made the experience unforgettable, and we heartily recommend him to show you around stunning Uganda. He looked after us really well and gave us lots of time to spend with the animals. Throughout our entire visit, we were made to feel incredibly comfortable and safe. At the same time, we visited Mabamba Swamp to see a shoebill, but it was unfortunate we were not able to see it. I advise other travellers to always consider visiting the swamp twice to get higher chances.
We highly recommend Azas!

Azas Safaris are Excellent and professional in what they are doing. Customer care at its best. 😊
Beautiful country
Last year in June 2023 I booked a trip with azas safaris Uganda , me and my other 3 friends kept on talking to Simon and prisca monthly and they promised us a great trip. At first I was abit worried but after viewing their work online , I decided to move with them. And the rest was history.
It was a fly in trip from Entebbe to Bwindi and then relaxing in bunyonyi .
Azas safaris Uganda recommended us a one day relaxing after gorillas trekking activity, yes it’s kinda hectic.
I knew English but my colleagues only knew Spanish but azas safaris Uganda provided us a translator who helped us all through.
We had our gorilla trekking activity, it was nice to see human like creatures in the wild , it’s safe though scary 😃
Accommodation was up to our expectations, mahogany lodge was awesome and bird nest resort in bunyonyi was amazing with a great view to the lake . We also interacted with a community which was great. Later we came back to Entebbe airport through kisoro , a hilly area with amazing views.
For gorilla trekking activities, I recommend this company ( azas safaris Uganda ) , they gave us a great memory , we have already referred them to our friends who are travelling with them next year in summer.
We shall miss Uganda. 🇺🇬

Just Amazing
In April this year we visited kenya 🇰🇪, our plan was to visit Masai Mara but due to flooding, we couldn’t finish our trip , we were evacuated back to Nairobi.
We got an idea to visit Uganda , mostly to trek gorillas, we went on safari booking and azas safaris Uganda was popular for gorilla trekking , we chose 3 operators but azas was competitive and their quote was budget friendly.
We talked to prisca on WhatsApp, she planned our trip from Entebbe to Bwindi and back to Entebbe with in 3 days. It was perfect.

Never visited another place with such service like this.
Me, Andreas and friends visited Uganda in September, and after our Safari we proved that it is really the Pearl of Africa since it has it all. Azas Safaris organized our full safari from the Airport to the agreed destinations, and we all was so happy and satisfied about what we got back. We like to thanks all the people who helped us, and we will soon be back as soon as its possible for us.

They did a really great job making an amazing tour for me.
Prisca was always very responsive every time I messaged him with a question before and during the trip. He was also able to adapt the trip really well when two others on my tour had to cancel at the last minute.
Christopher my driver and tour guide was an excellent driver and great at solving any problems around fitting activities in and working around what I wanted to prioritise.
The trip was also good value. The gorilla and chimpanzee permits are locked in prices so there’s not much they can do about that but everything else seemed very reasonable.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, but I would recommend more time at lake Bunyonyi. Also, the Chimpanzee trekking was a little disappointing as the chimps were up in the trees for the entire hour. Not much you can do about that though, and some other people said that the chimps had spent a lot more time on the ground when they were there. There might be other good (and cheaper) places to try chimp trekking. Just ask Prisca, he’s good at accommodating your needs!
All in all, I can recommend this tour and Christopher to anyone!
