Great experience and value for money, communication could be improved
5/5

We had a great experience on safari. Our guide Burton was great; a very safe driver, nice person and he also helpfully pointed out wildlife to us, explaining animal behaviours and species. Our chef David made us lovely food even in the middle of the Serengeti! He catered to my husband’s wheat allergy incredibly well. We enjoyed our night camping and the other accommodation was of a good standard too. We saw the big five over our 5 day safari trip to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Tarangire NP. Overall it was incredible value for money. Communication with Psalms Adventures was poor whilst we were on safari, our queries often being ignored. We were also told we’d have a driver and a guide and ended up with 2-in-1, although he did a good job. Overall would recommend this company and the safari experience!

We had an amazing tour with our guide Bato. We saw every animal possible and Bato was very nice and explained a lot to us. The food was also very good!

The review below is the personal opinion of Davide and not that of SafariBookings.
Disorganized
2/5

We did a 5 days safari, it was organized very bad. First of all we received the flight tickets just few days before the safari and the tour operator sent us the wrong tickets twice. When we landed at Arusha a guy from the tour operator was supposed to be there but we waited more than 30 mins. The driver for the safari cannot speak English but only Swahili and Spanish (!!) so it was very difficult to communicate. Then, every day we started the safari late because we were in 4 people (two couples) but our accommodations were very far from the accommodations of the other couple, so at the end we didn’t spend so much time on the game drive.
The safari itself was good, people from the tour operator back office are very nice and available, but the organization was definitely not good.

Brilliant value, brilliant safari, saw all big 5! Fab your guide and chef - would definitely recommend camping if you can rough it as you have animals wondering around the camp! AMAZING!

The most incredible experience
5/5

Couldn’t have asked for a better safari!! We did the 2 night trip visiting Tarangire, ngorongoro and the foothills of Kilimanjaro. The whole process went so smoothly, our organiser Macriner kept in touch from when we booked and met us at the airport to welcome us, so we were informed about everything. Our safari guide, Barton, also met us at the airport and made every effort to ensure we got the most out of our tour. He was so knowledgeable, and never rushed us as we wanted to stop and look at various animals. Delicious meals were included as picnic lunches and in the hotels we stayed in overnight. Would also really recommend the cultural experiences at the foothills of Kilimanjaro. Our guide for this portion, Godlisten, was also very attentive and kind and led us through the whole day of hiking through to the waterfall and a coffee making workshop. Felt like the price we paid was more than reasonable for what we got, especially given that they arranged for airport transfers on both ends and how much attention to detail was present throughout. Overall, couldn’t recommend this company more and thanks so much for an amazing first trip to Tanzania!!

Absolutely great
5/5

Great communication throughout. Knowledgeable and passionate guides. Seamless airport transfers and they really do place customer experience first even if things don't go precisely to plan.

March is also an absolutely wonderful time for game viewing despite it being low season. We practically had the parks to ourselves and saw so much.

Highly recommended.

Marvelous
5/5

I will recommend psalms adventures anywhere because they give service beyond your money, beyond your expectations. Going to safari with them is one of the best choice I’ve made in recent years because I never regret anything. Everything was well organized and worth every penny.

We are satisfied with the service
4/5

We were on safari with a group of 8 people.
Safari guides Saidi and William - they are true professionals, we highly recommend them.
Activity Foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro - there was in description: swimming near Materuni Waterfalls - there was no chance to swim at waterfall so do not take towells and swimsuits.
To sum up, everything was good, but it could have been a bit better.
