Loved loved loved it!
5/5

We (couple of two from Ukraine) had a private 8-day Safari tour (4x4 Landcruiser) with Keron Safari And Hotels to Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo East. Our guide John went above and beyond to provide us with a great experience throughout the whole trip. He is great at spotting animals and was very knowledgeable about the parks and the wildlife. He even smells “the cats” (like he calls them) and no track was too difficult for John to take, in order to make sure we have a great experience. John is very punctual and great company on the drive – we had a lot of fun with him. Moreover, we were in safe hands with John and felt secure inside and outside the park.

The organization from the Keron (Mr. Kenny) office was very good – they organized the whole trip (park entrance fees, lodges, pick up from the airport and drop off at the beach) for us and we had no problems during our safari at all. We want to thank John from the Keron team for the great organization – she was very helpful to accommodate our questions and requests during the booking process.

We experienced some amazing moments watching the wildlife in the parks and took unforgettable impressions of Kenya home with us. We would definitely recommend Keron SAfari and Hotels if you are planning a Safari in Kenya!

Trip Of A Lifetime
5/5

Just in case a Safari is on your bucket list:

All of the tour/Safari companies (and there are LOTS!) have their company name emblazoned on the side of their vehicles. There are so many different safari/tour companies I lost track as the Toyota Land Cruisers that they drive (99.99% of all vehicles were Land Cruisers) zig zag across the Masai Mara and Serengeti.

Personal testimony:

I can't say enough good things about our company, keronsafarisandhotels.com. I went with them on the recommendation of a Kenyan friend in San Diego and the service was amazing. All of the details of our trip were perfectly handled from the moment we walked out of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi at 3:00 am on that first morning. What a relief it was to see our name on the sign held up by our driver and that an early check-in had been arranged at the wonderful "Tamarind Tree Hotel", just as I had requested.

Our guide, "Venant", the boyhood friend of my San Diego Kenya friend is a second generation guide (his dad was also on Safari at the same time) and was soooo knowledgeable about the animals and environment. Venant took care of each and every detail of our adventure.

Highly recommend

Fantastic from start to finish!
5/5

Like many others, I contacted Kenny due to the positive reviews on TA and he did not disappoint. He was responsive with emails. All options and costs were thoroughly explained. We were a group of 6 and were able to arrange a customized itinerary including a Masai Mara safari, Lake Nakuru safari, and Nairobi city tour. Everything went perfectly and as planned. The accommodations that Kenny arranged for us were amazing and surpassed our expectations. Our guide for the entire trip, Venant, was fantastic. He was always on time and professional. His skills at spotting, seeking out, and identifying the wildlife at the parks while driving/navigating through the mud without getting stuck was impressive. We were able to see and get close to all of the big 5 and even found a bunch of cheetahs! Venant was also one of the nicest and most patient people I have ever met. Could not have asked for a better guide or safari experience. Book with Keron Safaris and hotels AKA Keyron Vacations! You won't regret it!

Beyond our expectations
5/5

The trip was everything we expected and more. As a photographer I wanted to experience the true nature of Kenya and Keron looked after everything to make our experience truly unique. Kenny booked all our hotels and organized the trips and accommodations, he also made great recommendations for us on the trip. Pascal our driver was awesome and he always got us to the animals fast so we got to spot lions, leopards and everything else almost daily. He knew the park roads well and accommodated our needs at all times. I would definitely recommend Keron for anyone considering a Safari with a trusted company. Also consider flying into some of the parks as the roads can be very long and are rough, a short flight from Maasai Mara back to Nairobi was well worth the extra costs.

Keron Safari cannot be beat!
5/5

First, I’d like to give a big “thank you” to Kenny for planning such a wonderful safari for myself and two friends. He was truly the best coordinator I’ve ever worked with. He was very thorough and provided very quick responses. We wanted to do something slightly different than one of the pre-arranged safaris, and Kenny put together a great itinerary based on where we were starting (Mombasa) and ending (Watamu). Originally it was just myself and one other friend going on the safari, but we had another friend decide to join after we started building out the itinerary and details. Kenny added her without issue.

Some of the main reasons we choose Keron Safaris and Hotel: excellent communication, ability to tailor the safari if there is something in particular you want to do (instead of a pre-set agenda), and several choices for lodging (you could do all budget or all luxury or mix and match like we did).

We went to Tsavo West, Amboseli, and Tsavo East. We saw so much!!! Hippos, lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes, etc. Juma was our guide, and I really don’t think there is a better guide out there. Juma has been doing this for over 10 years. He is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and one of the sweetest and kindest humans I’ve ever met.

I would like to go to Rwanda someday, and I’m happy that Keron has operations in South Africa (and other countries) because I will 100% use them again.

Magic amidst a pandemic
5/5

There are vacations, there are amazing vacations, and then there is an African safari! Exciting, beautiful, colorful, versatile - those are some of many adjectives to describe the experience and the mood. And Keron Safaris & Hotels (Ks&H) was responsible for the fairy-tale every step of the way. But let's start at the beginning.

1. Planning and booking.
Planning this trip was exhausting... for our sales manager Kenny :) The number of change requests from our side was enormous, but Kenny patiently stuck with us till the end and the resulting trip itinerary was all we could ever wish for! Thank you Kenny so much!
The actual booking was pretty straight forward: there are plenty of payment options and even the final documents have been adjusted according to our requirements.

2. Arrival.
Upon our arrival at the Nairobi airport we were picked up and transferred to our first hotel by a very nice guy Pascal, who was very friendly (in fact, it is remarkable, how friendly and lovely people of Kenya are) and helpful. Everything went fast and smooth.

3. Safari.
A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Our expectations were fulfilled by 200%! We've seen the Big Five, Cheetahs, Lions' hunt, White Rhinos, Flamingos, Wild Dogs (a spices on a bridge of extinction which, we were told, had not been seen for the last four years!), beautiful scenery, amazing skylight and so much more! It was magical!

4. Guide/Driver and organization.
Our guide's name is Pascal. He was our friend, our driver, our spotter. It is remarkable how skillful he is in spotting wildlife on great distance, how much exciting trivia he told us about what we've seen, how friendly, helpful and patient he was with us. We were difficult passengers, but Pascal was able to fulfill our every request and even more. Next time we're traveling through Africa, we will do it only with Pascal. Thank you so much my friend!

5. Kenya.
It's such a beautiful and versatile country! The political and economical situation there is far from ideal, but people stay optimistic, open, and friendly. Interesting fact: they seem to be coping with COVID far better than some European countries - we could learn a thing or two from them. The nature is beyond beautiful - it's breathtaking! And Kenyan government does a lot to keep it that way - the measures for protection of the national parks, reservations etc. are impressive! Same goes for the ban on plastic packaging.

6. Summary for KS&H:
- Organization - Kenny - excellent!
- Logistics and communication in Nairobi - Ibrahim - excellent!
- Safari and everything around it - Pascal - excellent! excellent! excellent!

Thank you so much guys! We could not have wished for more!

Love,
From Barbeau and Toussaint

Incredible wildlife with experienced guide
5/5

When it comes to celebrating a milestone like our 10th wedding anniversary, my spouse and I knew we wanted to do something extraordinary. And what could be more extraordinary than an adventure in Kenya, the land of breathtaking landscapes and remarkable wildlife? Our six-day journey through Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Nakuru, and Masai Mara was nothing short of enchanting. But what truly elevated this experience to the highest echelons of exceptional was our incredible guide, John, and the tour specialist who orchestrated it all, Kenny.

From the moment we landed in Nairobi, Kenya, to the very last second of our journey, everything was impeccably planned and executed. Kenny, our tour specialist, ensured that every detail was taken care of. He tailored the itinerary to our preferences, ensuring that our 10th-anniversary trip was nothing short of magical. His commitment to making our experience unforgettable was evident from the very beginning. After our local tour in Nairobi, it was here that we first met our exceptional guide, John. John's warm welcome and deep knowledge of the region immediately put us at ease.

Amboseli National Park: The Adventure Begins

Our adventure kicked off with a visit to Amboseli National Park, Farah’s enthusiasm for the wildlife and his dedication to providing us with an authentic African experience were apparent from the start.

The highlight of Amboseli was, of course, the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Kenny had thoughtfully chosen a lodge with an unparalleled view of the snow-capped peak, and John ensured we had the best vantage points to capture this mesmerizing sight. We were treated to captivating sunrises and sunsets, with the majestic elephants of Amboseli grazing in the foreground. Just to paint the picture, imagine a scene of 40 elephants walking towards you… Doesn’t it say it all….

John's expertise in wildlife tracking was awe-inspiring. He knew the habits and habitats of the animals like the back of his hand. Thanks to him, we had the privilege of witnessing elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of other animals up close and personal. But what truly took our breath away was encountering the "Big 5", including the elusive leopard. John's intuition and knowledge played a pivotal role in making this dream come true.
Cultural Insight: The Maasai People
One of the most enriching aspects of our journey was the opportunity to engage with the Maasai people. We visited a Maasai village, where we were welcomed with traditional songs and dances. The Maasai's warm hospitality of their way of life made for a memorable cultural exchange. This insight into the local culture was a wonderful addition to our wildlife adventure.

Lake Naivasha: A Serene Interlude

The next stop on our journey was Lake Naivasha, a tranquil oasis nestled amid Kenya's Great Rift Valley. Fred Mitt's selection of a charming lakeside cottage as our accommodation was a delightful surprise. The peace and serenity of this location were a stark contrast to the rugged wilderness of Amboseli, and it allowed us to unwind and rejuvenate.

John's expertise extended to the aquatic wonders of Lake Naivasha. He organized a boat tour, where we witnessed a plethora of bird species, including African fish eagles and pelicans. The sight of hippos wallowing in the shallows added an unexpected thrill to our experience. Our guide's explanations and stories about the lake's ecology and the challenges it faces were not only informative but also thought-provoking.

Lake Nakuru: A former Flamingo Paradise

Lake Nakuru, known for its vibrant flamingo population, was our next destination. Kenny's planning ensured that we were staying at a lodge that offered a panoramic view of the lake, which was a stunning sight during the early morning hours.

John's wealth of knowledge about birds and his ability to spot even the tiniest creatures made this leg of the trip remarkable. As we explored the park, he guided us to the best viewpoints for observing the flocks of flamingos, turning the lake into a living, pink spectacle. We were mesmerized not only by the flamingos but also by the white and black rhinos, which are a testament to the park's successful conservation efforts.

Masai Mara: The Grand Finale

Our final destination was the crown jewel of Kenyan safaris: Masai Mara. We were already high on anticipation, but John's excitement was infectious. His familiarity with the vast expanse of the reserve, its diverse wildlife, and its rich Maasai culture was truly impressive.

The sheer number of wildlife, the views filled with wide variety of animals including Giraffes, Lions, Hippos, Wild hogs made our trip memorable. John's keen understanding of animal behavior allowed us to position ourselves in the best locations for observing these dramatic events.

The Masai Mara offered us an abundance of wildlife encounters. We spotted lions on the prowl, cheetahs on a hunt, and a lake full of hippos, all thanks to John's expert tracking skills. He shared his extensive knowledge about the animals' behavior, adding depth to our safari experience.

A Special Anniversary Celebration

Kenny's planning and John’s execution of the plan ensured that every aspect of our journey was meticulously coordinated, from the moment we landed in Nairobi until we reluctantly departed from Masai Mara. Our accommodations were carefully chosen to provide comfort and immerse us in the natural beauty of each location. The seamless transitions between parks and lodges meant we could fully enjoy the wonders of Kenya without any distractions.

Kenny's thoughtfulness extended to special surprises along the way. On the night of our anniversary, we were welcomed back to our lodge with a candlelit dinner under the African sky and a special sun downer beautifully planned and executed with mesmerizing views. The romantic atmosphere and genuine hospitality made our celebration unforgettable.

Final Thoughts: John and Kenny, Our Kenyan Dream Team

In conclusion, our six-day Kenyan adventure was a breathtaking journey that exceeded all our expectations. The picturesque landscapes, the abundance of wildlife, and the cultural experiences we encountered were nothing short of magical. What truly elevated this experience to a level of excellence was the exceptional team of John and Kenny.

John's passion, knowledge, and unwavering commitment to providing us with a genuine African safari experience were beyond impressive. His ability to Talk about variety of cultures in Kenya and knowledge to talk about any topic is commendable and his ability to track wildlife, his insights into the animals' behavior, and his infectious enthusiasm added a layer of depth to our journey that we will always cherish. He made sure we saw the "Big 5" and created an atmosphere of discovery and wonder at every turn. His enthusiasm to do the above and beyond for us made our trip most memorable. Upon our request, John Kept taking videos and photos of us which I can only describe as to the level of cinematic quality, and we will cherish these memories for life.

Kenny's exceptional coordination and meticulous planning ensured that every aspect of our trip was executed flawlessly. His attention to detail, thoughtful surprises, and ability to customize the journey to our desires made this 10th-anniversary celebration truly special. His dedication to providing us with a seamless and unforgettable experience was evident in every moment of our adventure.

Our Kenya trip, with the combined efforts of John (The storyteller) and Kenny (The Orchestrator), has become a cherished memory that we will carry with us for a lifetime. It was not just a vacation; it was a transformational journey that allowed us to connect with the Keron Safaris and Hotels (keyron Vacations Ltd) and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Kenya's wildlife and landscapes. We are grateful for their expertise and the genuine care they put into making this trip.

ASANTE SANA - Keron safari
5/5

Where do I begin?

We had the most amazinggg experience with Keron Safari. Right from helping with the booking and planning by Kenny to the actual Safari by Venant & David.

The dedication these people put into it is mind blowing. We spotted all the big 5 !! And it was only and only due to Venant and David's dedication and perseverance. Even we were not as adamant to view the elusive leopard. These guys are amazing! They took excellent care of us. We were like one big family all through those 7 days and we miss Keron Safari & Kenya so much!!

If we ever go back to Kenya again (hoping to return in another 2 yrs

Perfect! Perfect! Thank you so much.

From the moment we were collected at the airport, everything ran smoothly with Keron SAfaris. As our tour was not starting until the following day, we had one day/night to explore Nairobi. The company arranged for a taxi to bring us to our hotel and collect us again that evening for dinner. We were brought to Carnivores restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed. The following morning we met our guide, Venant, for the first time. He was fantastic! We were extremely well looked after and his knowledge of the Masai Mara was incredible. I would highly recommend Keron Safaris and in particular I would put in a request for Venant, as I don't think you could ask for a better guide!
Asante sana!

Amazing experience in Tanzania: the trip of a lifetime
5/5

Safaris do not come better than the experience we had with Keron Safaris from Mombasa, Kenya. My plethora of requests such as style of accommodations, safety, equipment and sanity were all answered within a day and with concise information. I was never kept waiting for long. Still, pages and pages of emails cannot and will not prepare you for the majesty of Tanzania's northern parks and Keron Safaris does an amazing, detail oriented job at fulfilling this bucket list journey. I was met by a fully qualified guide on the night before my departure into the wild in Arusha and was briefed on what was going to happen the next few days. The professionally orchestrated safari of 4 days allowed me and my safari mate the opportunity to catch well over 30 species of animals in three parks. Keron Safaris makes it a point to avoid touristic routes within the larger parks as you really don't want to see a giant air-conditioned bus in the brush. Those are terrible and we as consumers should really send the message and remove them from the parks. We shared many quiet moments with lions just meters away with no other vehicles in sight.

I will certainly return to Tanzania to visit the parks we didn't have the opportunity to earlier this year, and we wouldn't hesitate to return to Keron Safaris for their top class service and execution!
