Incredible wildlife with experienced guide
When it comes to celebrating a milestone like our 10th wedding anniversary, my spouse and I knew we wanted to do something extraordinary. And what could be more extraordinary than an adventure in Kenya, the land of breathtaking landscapes and remarkable wildlife? Our six-day journey through Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Nakuru, and Masai Mara was nothing short of enchanting. But what truly elevated this experience to the highest echelons of exceptional was our incredible guide, John, and the tour specialist who orchestrated it all, Kenny.
From the moment we landed in Nairobi, Kenya, to the very last second of our journey, everything was impeccably planned and executed. Kenny, our tour specialist, ensured that every detail was taken care of. He tailored the itinerary to our preferences, ensuring that our 10th-anniversary trip was nothing short of magical. Our adventure kicked off with a visit to Amboseli National Park, Farah’s enthusiasm for the wildlife and his dedication to providing us with an authentic African experience were apparent from the start.
The highlight of Amboseli was, of course, the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Kenny had thoughtfully chosen a lodge with an unparalleled view of the snow-capped peak, and John ensured we had the best vantage points to capture this mesmerizing sight. We were treated to captivating sunrises and sunsets, with the majestic elephants of Amboseli grazing in the foreground. Just to paint the picture, imagine a scene of 40 elephants walking towards you… Doesn’t it say it all….
John's expertise in wildlife tracking was awe-inspiring. He knew the habits and habitats of the animals like the back of his hand. Thanks to him, we had the privilege of witnessing elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of other animals up close and personal. But what truly took our breath away was encountering the "Big 5", including the elusive leopard. John's intuition and knowledge played a pivotal role in making this dream come true.

One of the most enriching aspects of our journey was the opportunity to engage with the Maasai people. We visited a Maasai village, where we were welcomed with traditional songs and dances. Lake Naivasha: A Serene Interlude

The peace and serenity of this location were a stark contrast to the rugged wilderness of Amboseli, and it allowed us to unwind and rejuvenate.

The Masai Mara offered us an abundance of wildlife encounters. We spotted lions on the prowl, cheetahs on a hunt, and a lake full of hippos, all thanks to John's expert tracking skills. He shared his extensive knowledge about the animals' behavior, adding depth to our safari experience.

We had the most amazinggg experience with Keron Safari. Right from helping with the booking and planning by Kenny to the actual Safari by Venant & David.
The dedication these people put into it is mind blowing. We spotted all the big 5 !! And it was only and only due to Venant and David's dedication and perseverance. Even we were not as adamant to view the elusive leopard. These guys are amazing! They took excellent care of us. We were like one big family all through those 7 days and we miss Keron Safari & Kenya so much!!

Trip Of A Lifetime
Just in case a Safari is on your bucket list:
All of the tour/Safari companies (and there are LOTS!) have their company name emblazoned on the side of their vehicles. There are so many different safari/tour companies I lost track as the Toyota Land Cruisers that they drive (99.99% of all vehicles were Land Cruisers) zig zag across the Masai Mara and Serengeti.

I can't say enough good things about our company, keronsafarisandhotels.com. I went with them on the recommendation of a Kenyan friend in San Diego and the service was amazing. All of the details of our trip were perfectly handled from the moment we walked out of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi at 3:00 am on that first morning. What a relief it was to see our name on the sign held up by our driver and that an early check-in had been arranged at the wonderful "Tamarind Tree Hotel", just as I had requested.
Our guide, "Venant", the boyhood friend of my San Diego Kenya friend is a second generation guide (his dad was also on Safari at the same time) and was soooo knowledgeable about the animals and environment. Venant took care of each and every detail of our adventure.

Perfect! Perfect! Thank you so much.
From the moment we were collected at the airport, everything ran smoothly with Keron SAfaris. As our tour was not starting until the following day, we had one day/night to explore Nairobi. The company arranged for a taxi to bring us to our hotel and collect us again that evening for dinner. We were brought to Carnivores restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed. The following morning we met our guide, Venant, for the first time. He was fantastic! We were extremely well looked after and his knowledge of the Masai Mara was incredible. I would highly recommend Keron Safaris and in particular I would put in a request for Venant, as I don't think you could ask for a better guide!

Fantastic from start to finish!
Like many others, I contacted Kenny due to the positive reviews on TA and he did not disappoint. He was responsive with emails. All options and costs were thoroughly explained. We were a group of 6 and were able to arrange a customized itinerary including a Masai Mara safari, Lake Nakuru safari, and Nairobi city tour. Everything went perfectly and as planned. The accommodations that Kenny arranged for us were amazing and surpassed our expectations. Our guide for the entire trip, Venant, was fantastic. He was always on time and professional. His skills at spotting, seeking out, and identifying the wildlife at the parks while driving/navigating through the mud without getting stuck was impressive. We were able to see and get close to all of the big 5 and even found a bunch of cheetahs! Venant was also one of the nicest and most patient people I have ever met. Memorable experience!
Thank you Kenny for all your help and making our first trip to Kenya a truly memorable one. We were a group of 7 who travelled for my moms 60th birthday- a safari was her bucket list dream and Keron did not disappoint! The service received was absolutely top notch. Kenny was always readily available by WhatsApp before and during our trip and was very responsive - he was truly a pleasure to communicate with. Despite a few challenges with accommodation prior to our arrival Kenny was able to get us sorted and offered to provide us with a free upgrade which was appreciated. Our guides were friendly and professional- we managed to see the big 5! I highly recommend using Keron to anyone going to Kenya and will definitely be recommending your company to family and friends. Incredible 8 days in Kenya!
An incredible experience! We had 8 days safari tour, visited Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. The tour was well organized and everything went smooth. We saw all big 5 and many other beautiful creatures, stunning landscapes not only out because of luck but also thanks to Martin effort and experience (our tour guide)!

I can highly recommend staying in The Cliff Lodge! By far the best place I have stayed which is located in cliff near by Nakuru Lake with sunrise view, very professional staff, comfortable and well designed rooms, swimming pool (you will definitely enjoy right after game driving).
Secondly, I can recommend Ark Hotel where you can watch the animals right in front of the place and be very close to the wild life!
We stayed in 4 different lodges. Only thing I would change next time is decreasing this number.

Amazing Safaris
We went on a 4 day safari. Saw Tarangire NP, Serengethi NP and Ngorogoro NP, it was a great experience with a lot of adventure. The jeep was big and comfortable. Our guides name was Goodluck, a very nice man who could tell us a lot about the wild animals and the way They live. We were planning to see the big five and we Did!. We saw a lioness with her cubs, elephants from a few meters away when we had our lunch break (the food was good during the whole safari), a Leopard with her cub in a tree, a rhino at the crater and on our last night buffalo's were eating grass in front of our tents. Goodluck made sure we felt safe during the whole trip and stopped the car anytime we wanted to make pictures. We spotted a lot of animals, monkeys, lots of beautiful birds, giraffes, zebra's wildebeest and many many more. Every morning we woke up very early to start the game drive. But it was worth it. I never saw those beautiful sunsets in my life. Thank you So much, it was amazing!!!

Great 9-day safari in Kenya
All was very well organized by Keron Safaris and Hotels and we found it good value for money. The correspondence with the office is very smooth, prompt and clear and they lived up to their promises, Kenny the Key Man.
We liked the proposed combination of Tsavo - Amboseli - Nakuru - Mara. It's a nice variation of scenery. Mara was a highlight of course for the great variety of wildlife, but the more quiet parks in the east have their charm as well.
We opted for the most basic accommodation offers and we found them all very neat. Especially in Voi Safari lodge in Tsavo is located beautifully and quite luxurious. The Nakuru Sopa lodge in Nakuru and Mara Simba lodge were more basic, but we found them fine and all had very friendly staff.
Our driver/guide, John, was excellent, a pleasant travel companion, a great driver and very knowledgeable on the safaris and everything else Kenya. He really tried to make the most out of all game drives.
In short, we would definitely recommend Keron Safaris and Hotels to anyone wanting to do a similar journey.

Amazing safari, once in a lifetime holiday
This August, it was our first time in Kenya and we are happy we chose Kenny, who turned out to be essential for our trip. Everything was agreed in advance via email. Kenny always replied fast with good English and in comparison with other companies he seemed to be much more pro-active and just nice overall :-)
He organized a private safari tour for the two of us based on our requirements, 6 nights / 7 days in 3 parks - Masaai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli. It began with a pick up from an airport hotel in Nairobi and finished by a drop off at the Diani Beach (south of Mombasa).
We want to thank to our driver Mr. Jammlick who was very professional, punctual and experienced guide. I especially appreciate that he didn't take unnecessary risks. We have seen other drivers take bad routes and fail, damaging their car and having to fix it. Not this one. We felt absolutely safe with him.
Thanks to Jammlick we also saw the Big 5 in just 3 days :-), not just once, and much more: our expectations were met and exceeded! We saw so many animals and on our last game drive we were (Jammlick was, to be correct) the first to spot a lioness hunting!
Kenny called us several times during our safari to check if everything was going well (game drives, lodges etc.) and he really cared if we were enjoying our time in Kenya which was nice of him. Later for our last day in Kenya he also organized as per our request a one-day trip in Nairobi which originally wasn't part of the plan.
If you are choosing a company for your safari, I can truly recommend Keron. They all will do their best to make you happy. The trip will be private, tailor-made and Kenny is ready to adjust it to fit your budget.
The only thing to be careful about is making sure all documents, especially dates, names and numbers are right :-) In our case Kenny admitted that he has made an error mistaking our safari with a different group that was supposed to arrive a week later. Luckily, I noticed the wrong dates on accomodation vouchers few days before our arrival. Although it didn't affect us, it surely was a tough time for Kenny. Some of our lodges were overbooked so he upgraded us and after our safari, instead of traveling by train (Nairobi to Mombasa) we were offered to fly directly to Diani (Nairobi to Ukunda) for the same price :-)
