We use Meijo safari company, because we are people enjoying adventure. They made costumes made program only for us. We visited Natron lake and Vulcan, Serengeti, ngorongoro, and Tarangire national parks. Our guide Herman / nickname superman/ was the best!!!! He found all animals we want to see!! The big five and all cats!!! Very nice, polite and positive!! Recommend the company not only for budget also for all

Amazing Safari Experience
We did the shared safari tour. Meijo looked after us from start to finish with top quality service. The communication was excellent throughout and compared to the other your groups we met I would say they were a great value for your money.
We saw all of the animals we wanted to see and more. Big 5 and more. It was very special to be able to see a rhino and chetass and we couldn’t have done it without Pascal, our tour guide.
The food was great and fresh typical tanzanian cuisin prepared by chef Thomas.
The camping was phenomenal. The views were extraordinary and the campsites were clean and well maintained. We were worried we wouldn’t find the camping clean as there are mixed reviews but we loved every part of it.
Sleeping amonst wild beats is an experience we will never forget.
We even had an acommodation upgrade due to low season. Meijo provided a lodge at the Serengeti, free of charge.
All in all, It was a flawless experience and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Phenomenal 4 day safari! Couldn’t recommend more highly
Honestly some of the best 4 days I’ve ever had. We did the shared camping safari. Meijo looked after us from start to finish with top quality service. The communication was excellent throughout and compared to the other your groups we met I would say they were a great value for your money.
They had some of the best guides and cooks (something that changes a lot between companies). The food was fresh and honestly something I’d expect to eat in a nice restaurants. We saw all of the animals we wanted to see and more. Big 5, ugly 5, and more. It was very special to be able to see a rhino and we couldn’t have done it without Frederick (our guide).
The camping was phenomenal. The views were extraordinary and the campsites were clean and well maintained. We were worried we wouldn’t find the camping clean as there are mixed reviews but we loved every part of it.
All in all, It was a flawless experience and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Efficient, Friendly, Helpful
We booked a "budget group safari" with Meijo. We were able to book any day that we wanted because they collaborate with other similar operators in order to fill their trucks.
Everything was really well organized. Guides, food, campsites and lodges were all excellent. Even though it's a "budget" safari there were some nice small luxuries like getting picked up from the bus stop by the manager, multi course meals, drinks, and even a pool on one of the days. The manager was also very responsive on whatsapp.
And of course, the parks themselves are beyond amazing, there are no words to describe the wildlife of northern Tanzania.

Trustworthy agency! Amazing Kili and safari experience:)
I booked the Lemosho route and a 5- day/ 4-night safari with Meijo Safaris and both experiences were incredible!
My friend and I successfully submitted Mount Kilimanjaro thanks to the incredible team of porters and guides we had with us. Babaluu and Priscus are the best guides we could have hoped for! We had fresh meals, the crew was always super attentive and caring.
On the safari, we saw so many different animals and checked out the big 5! The camping experience in the Serengeti and atop the Ngorongoro Crater were truly unique!
On both experiences, we always had the best meals. 3 freshly cooked meals (yes, on Kili too) specially for the group. On the safari, we saw other groups with lunchboxes so we were really happy with our fresh, hot meals :)
I would recommend Meijo Safaris eyes closed! The communication beforehand to plan and organize was smooth and clear, there was no surprise during each experience.

Fantastic Safari of a Life Time
We had such a great time with our 5-day budget tour with Meijo Safaris in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Tarangire. Daudi met us at the hotel the night before the safari started to give us instruction and to collect the fee. We had a great time with our driver/guide “Simon” who took a great care of us. He really wanted us to get the best experience. He knows exactly where to find the animals and allows us plenty of time to watch and learn. He taught us a lot about wildlife in the parks since we are from Asia and this is absolutely a new experience for us. The chef is also great and food was really well prepared. The schedule seemed to be flexible and different from itinerary, but after all we went to all the 5 parks and met a lot of great people along the way. We would love to tour with Meijo Safari again if we travel back to Tanzania again.

We spent a 4 day Safari in the Tarangire, Ngorongoro Nationalpark and Serengeti. Everything was perfect from the beginning on. We really appreciatet the service and enjoyed our trip to the fullest. The Lodges were absolutely amazing. The Staff was kind and supportive.

Best experience from start to finish
We took part in a 5 day “joining tour”. This meant that the tour companies put together people in the same vehicle who are going to the same places as to minimize the number of empty seats (and make it affordable for us). We ended up loving our group for the first 3 days! We all camped in Ngorongoro crater rim and Serengeti and it was stunning! We saw the “big 5” the first two days!
GUIDE: Our guide, Freddy, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We got two flat tires and every tour operator stops to help each other which makes for very quick fixes! I love the camaraderie.
FOOD: The food was AWESOME. Davis was our chef. He makes multi-course meals 3 times a day and cleans everything! We came to learn he’s only 18 years old. Such a talent! We had things I didn’t know could be cooked in the bush- pizza, quiche, tarts, au-gratin potatoes, beef, and the most amazing soups (different every day)! Seriously, after the lions, I was most impressed with the food.
FLEXIBILITY:... Read more We ended up being exhausted the last day and decided to change our itinerary from Lake Manyara to Materuni waterfall because we were told the animals had migrated away from the lake. That really gave us a chance to diversify our trip too! Joel was our guide and he was fantastic. He taught us about plans and coffee on our 5 km round trip hike to the falls. He took great pics too! My shoes were broken at the falls and he lent me a hand on the hike back which I so appreciated.
OVERALL: This company is well coordinated. The director was very responsive via WhatsApp, constantly letting me know changes as they occurred or helping us adjust our itinerary. Bonus: he even came to our hotel to ensure we were happy with everything. We are so happy with our experience and highly recommend them!
