Great service, personal, accommodating and knowledgeable Tour Operators
Booked a 5-Day Tanzania Migration Safari (Tarangire, central & north serengeti and ngorongoro crater) on 25-29Aug.
Meijo were exceptional! From the itinerary to the accommodations to the personalised touch of the tour, you really cant go wrong with Meijo.
Daudi was very responsive and open on the tour package. He was very helpful and knowledgeable in arranging the tour and accommodations.
Jordan, our guide, was super knowledgeable of the routes, the animals (and where to get the best views!) and of almost anything of the tour and safari in general. He was very patient and accommodating, reassuring and punctual.
Overall Meijo offered a very memorable, fun, and satisfying safari experience!

Amazing
I would 100% recommend Meijo Safaris to anyone. Communication was always great when booking our Safari and during the Safari. Daudi was always great and responded very fast.
We booked a 7 day Safari and the experience we had was amazing. We got to see a lot of animals. Our guide, Herman, was very good. Everyone at the park knows him and they call him Superman. He can see animals from far far away and knows every animal and their behaviors. Herman knows the best spots to see different kinds of animals and we were able to see animals from a very close distance. We enjoyed having Herman as our guide because he cares for the safety of the clients and was always driving very safely, you could see other drivers driving super fast and we saw a few accidents becuase of it. Thankfully we got someone who was very professional who loves his job.
My wife and I are extremely happy to have chosen Meijo Safaris for our Safari Trip. If we ever come back we wouldn't hesitate to book through them again.
Excellent tour operator with experience guides and plenty of safari experience
Meijo was a tour operator found on Safari Bookings and they helped us find the perfect safari itenary with very competitive price. When we got quotations from different companies the prices looked frightening - it looked like safari was going to be twice as expensive as climbing Kilimanjaro. Then we found Meijo - local, well priced. They offered us great accomodation, unforgettable experiences and the guide better than we could have dreamt of. Everything was perfect.

Excellent tour and fantastic organization
We just finished a 7-day safari with Michael as our guide, and it was fantastic! Michael was always on time, making sure we didn't miss a moment. His ability to spot animals from far away was incredible. We saw so many different animals like lions, cheetahs and even rhinos.
Michael is very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the animals and the environment. He was super friendly and made us feel comfortable the whole time.
We highly recommend Meijo, it is excellent value for money. They made our trip unforgettable!

My fiancé and I booked a 8 day safari with Meijo and it was the best decision we could have made! We were extremely lucky to have gotten JORDAN as our guide, he was exceptional and absolutely the best guide we could’ve asked for. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND every single day for us to make sure we had an unforgettable safari. Jordan was very very knowledgeable with the directions of each park, the animals and was able to answer all our questions. Jordan is able to do tours in Swahili, English, French and Italian.
The company was very easy to work with and able to accommodate us as needed!
Absolutely recommend the company and specifically Jordan.
In our last day we were lucky enough to meet the owner of the company who went out of his way to come and thank us for choosing them. I think it is also very important to note that this is a LOCAL business who are doing an AMAZING job

My girlfriend ( now fiance) and I recently embarked on an 8-day safari with Meijo, and it was an outstanding choice! We were fortunate to have JORDAN ( best guide ever!!!) as our guide,He had the experience and we felt very safe & truly exceeded all expectations. We saw many many manyyy animals thanks you his expertise & His dedication to making our safari unforgettable was remarkable—he consistently went the extra mile each day. Jordan's expertise in navigating the parks and his deep knowledge of the wildlife were impressive, and he skillfully answered all our questions. His ability to conduct tours in Swahili, English, French, and Italian added to the experience.

Amazing!
We are three couples who have extensively traveled the previous six years around the world usually using upscale travel services. Tanzania was a special destination for us and we didn't want to take any chances, so after a lot of research we chose Meijo Safaris to help us arrange a 6-day private luxury safari.
One word would perfectly describe our experience: AMAZING! The fascinating wildlife and breathtaking scenery found in the Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorogoro parks, was complemented with the expertise and kindness of our guide Michael who deliver an outstanding service…he knew every corner of the parks allowing us to have close encounters with every animal we had anticipated seeing. The lodging the agency booked for us was top notch. So happy that we have chosen Meijo Safaris for our first safari!
Our 5 day safari with Meijo Safaris was simply perfect. From our first communication with Daudi, who organized our itinerary and met us in Arusha, to Herman, our amazing guide throughout the safari. We felt that it was very important for both that we have a great time - and we did!
During our safari Herman took great care of us and went above and beyond to provide us with a safari experience we will never forget. We saw the Big Five and so many more (impossible to count!), we learned so much about the animals and nature from Herman. He has incredible eyes and many years of experience as a guide. Every day was different, there is a great variety within the different national parks (Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) and we had so much fun watching the animals and taking amazing pictures. At the same time, we felt 100% safe and in really good hands (kudos also to Herman's responsible driving).
The lodges we chose during our trip were all top quality, very welcoming, comfortable and with incredible views. The hot lunches during the day were also very good.
All in all, we are still overwhelmed by all the beauty we have seen during these days and are very happy to have chosen Meijo Safaris for our first safari.

An amazing experience
We booked an 8 day luxury package with Meijo Safaris. The experience was seamless and spectacular. Daudi was responsive to our questions and helped us assemble a custom itinerary that fit our budget, time, and interests. Our wonderful guide Herman was very experienced and showed us sights beyond imagination, including the great wildebeest migration, ostrich courtship and mating, and more than 30 lions. He also patiently answered our questions and was responsive to our every need, from moving the car to get a perfect photo to rustling up some ugali for us to try. Food and accommodation were wonderful throughout, with each location offering a unique experience. Finally, Meijo ensured that we didn’t have to worry about anything from the moment we landed in Tanzania. This trip really was the experience of a lifetime — thank you Meijo Safaris.
