The Serengeti is truly amazing!
We customized the itinerary ourselves, two nights in the northern Serengeti, one night in the central Serengeti, one night in Ngorongoro, and one night outside Tarangire. The accommodation conditions are really limited in the north, but the others are good. As far as the park is concerned, it is really a bit tasteless to see the other two parks after the Serengeti. So I recommend that you only play Serengeti for a longer time. You can add a lake in the flamingo season. The travel company is very good and almost agreed to all our requests. The deposit payment and the final payment are convenient. The guide is also very good and experienced. He took us to see almost all the animals that must be seen in Africa. The people are also very kind and gentle, knowledgeable about animals and plants, and answer any questions. So, our trip to East Africa is a wonderful and unforgettable memory! Thank you! If you have other needs, you can tell this company in advance and there will be a reply soon.

Nature's Majesty: Expedition Through Africa's Wildlife Paradises with Meijo Safaris and Assad
We recently had the pleasure of doing our first safari in Tanzania. And it was more than extraordinary. From start to finish, this safari exceeded all our expectations.
Itinerary and Activities:
The itinerary was perfect-planned. Since the first contact with Michael of Mejio Safari's we got a lot of suggestions, uncomplicated and directly response so we could figure out our prefect individual Safari. Unfortunately one of our bags didn't reach out our destination due to a mistake of the airline. So Michael helped us out and managed the whole process so we were able to get the bag as early as possible back. An additional positive aspect were the way they do they do their "lunchbags". Different to the others they had meddal boxes which were filled by the accommodations - instead of paperboys with sandwiches like a lot of others we saw at the lunch-breaks.
Our Guide Assad:
He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and ecosystem. He had always an answer for all of our questions - no matter which topic - and inspired us with his love of wildlife and especially the Serengeti. For us he was not only the guide, he was more than that. He was our Swahili teacher, dictionary, and encyclopedia all in one, always eager to create a positive atmosphere and help us make unforgettable memories. Assad is a very warm-hearted, well prepared and organized professional. In addition it should also be mentioned that he's speaking very good English.
Wildlife Experiences:
The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the wildlife sightings. We were fortunate to see the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and last but not least the rhino—along with countless other animals. Each drive brought new surprises, making every outing exciting -
not just because of the animals but also because of the landscapes.
Accommodations:
The lodges we had individually chosen were in different categories. What they had really all in common: The staff were super warm and attentive to make us feel comfortable. Each evening, we enjoyed delicious meals and they prepared the lunch for the following day. The rooms/tent we had were all perfectly clean with warm-water and W-Lan even though you were partly in the middle of nowhere. We really had nothing to complain.
Overall Experience:
5of5 Stars of Experience as well as 5of5 of Big Fives :)
We always will remember this incredible Safari. Big thanks for that to our Meijo Safari's and especially our guide Assad!

I compared it for a long time and chose this one, it’s really great!
My African itinerary was completely my own, and it was very customized, and it was a 7-day safari + 3-day trip to Tanzania. My friends also flew to Tanzania from all over the country. At first, I found many companies on safari booking and sent emails to consult, but it was obvious that many of the replies were irrelevant. After several rounds of communication, the hotel and itinerary given by meijo were the best. Our guide Miko was very experienced and humorous. We watched the big five in Ngorongoro on the first day of departure and were stunned. There were new surprises every day afterwards, leopards 🐆 carrying antelopes up trees, cheetah cubs, and lions mating. The most amazing thing was in October, when we watched two Tianhe crossings in the morning. We all said that we should just change our name to "Dream Travel Agency" and we can see anything we want. We also experienced heavy rain on the grasslands in the dry season. There were many stuck cars in front, and everyone went to help. The photographer said that the people here are more united. The road to Lake Natron is also very bad, but the scenery is super beautiful. I always thought there were only two accommodations here, and the travel agency changed me to another newly opened one, which is much better than the two hotels uploaded on Xiaohongshu. But I wasn’t careful enough and didn’t pick up any flamingo feathers. I should have looked for more and brought some back!

Very professional and easy to communicate
From the beginning to the end the communication was very easy with Daudi.
We found the itinerary with him based upon outline budget.
The daily warm food for lunch was very nice.
Especially the Serengeti parc, was a superb highlight of our safari!
Michael, the French speaking guide, was very accomodating and showed us many animals. We are so happy to have spotted the Big Five!
I totally recommand Meijo Safaris with closed eyes!

Tanzania Safari: An Extraordinary Experience with Meijo and Guides Assad and Eila
I have just returned from an unforgettable Tanzania Safari adventure, meticulously planned by Meijo, and I am eager to share every thrilling moment of this journey.
From the outset, Meijo demonstrated their professionalism and enthusiasm. Their attention to detail and deep understanding of customer needs ensured that our travel plans were both thoughtful and personalized.
Our journey began in the Serengeti National Park, one of Tanzania's most spectacular wildlife reserves. Assad and Eila, our guides, not only had an intimate knowledge of the animals' habits but also accurately predicted their movements, affording us the opportunity to observe lions, elephants, giraffes, and more up close. Their professional guidance and respect for nature made every wildlife encounter safe and unforgettable.
However, the climax of our Safari was undoubtedly the famous Great Migration crossing. Under the leadership of Assad and Eila, we witnessed the spectacular scene of thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River. This is one of nature's greatest migrations, and being able to witness this miracle is thanks to Meijo's meticulous planning and the guides' professional guidance.
In addition to wildlife observation, this Safari trip also allowed us to experience Tanzania's natural beauty and culture. From the vast plains of the Serengeti to the magnificent scenery of the Ngorongoro Crater, every step was filled with surprises. Assad and Eila shared their love and knowledge of this land, giving us a deeper understanding and respect for Tanzania's nature and culture.
Meijo's thoughtful service, from itinerary planning to accommodation arrangements, reflected their professionalism and commitment to customer experience. Their team ensured that every aspect of our trip was comfortable, safe, and filled with unforgettable memories.
In summary, this Tanzania Safari trip was an unparalleled experience. Meijo and guides Assad and Eila's professional services made our trip flawlessly perfect. I highly recommend Meijo to any traveler seeking a true African Safari experience. This is not just a trip; it's a life-changing adventure.
Absolutely fantastic!
We booked a Meijo 6 day, 5 night safari tour for our honeymoon and could not have asked for more! Booking was very easy and communication with the company was fast and efficient via WhatsApp and email. The itinerary they put together for us was perfect and the accomodation was fantastic. Michael, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and navigated the 'african massage' roads incredibly well and we saw an excellent range of animals- he has been fantastic!! It was great seeing the difference of the 4 parks we visited (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara). Serengeti was the highlight for us- we spent 2 nights at the Matawi lodge but could have easily spent longer there!

Exceptional Safari Experience with Meijo and Jordan!
Our recent safari with Meijo was an unforgettable experience, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding.
Our tour guide, Jordan, was the highlight of the trip. Not only was he knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and landscapes, but he also went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience. Whether it was spotting elusive animals or sharing fascinating insights about the local culture, Jordan’s enthusiasm made every moment special.
The whole journey exceeded our expectations in every way—from the seamless logistics to the personalized care we received throughout. If you’re looking for a safari company that combines expertise, warmth, and a truly unique adventure, Meijo and Jordan are the perfect choice!
Highly recommended!

Quick response, good arrangement, perfect guide
We have a great trip with Meijo.
Michael's quicky response and good arrangement make our preparation easy.
For the 5 days safari, our guide are professional and with a good eyes to find lions leopard for us.
We have a great surprise when we stay in intimate camp, one night the lion hunting buffalo and rushing through our camp to another camp, our guide taking us to see the life experience moment and we see 8 lions and several hyenas eating the body of buffalo.
We enjoy our trip.

Daudi was incredible and helped us plan the safari with ease and professionalism.
I didn’t know exactly what to picture when I was planning this safari for my dad and I, but it was everything we could have hoped for and then so much more. We did the 6 day safari and it was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. Our safari guide Elia worked hard to make sure we saw every animal we wanted to see, including all of the big 5! He allowed us to tailor the experience to what was important to us, and had an impressive knowledge about each animal, tree, and landscape we saw. He was also super fun!
The lodging for this safari was next level. I don’t know what luxury includes but the mid-range safari had lodging that was as good if not better than resorts I’ve stayed at in the past. There was WiFi at each location so we could check in with family, the staff at each place was so welcoming and friendly, and the beds were sooo nice after long and exciting days of game drives. I could not write enough good things about the places we stayed, truly. The only wish I had was that there were more hours in the day because I wanted to spend more time at each lodge but without giving up any of the time we spent on game drives during the days!
Lastly, we started our safari the day after my dad’s 69th birthday. I told our safari guide Elia this, just as a conversation piece with no expectation of anything else. On the second to last day at dinner at our tented camp, the staff came out singing songs in Swahili and then happy birthday, with a cake for my dad. Elia had gone out of his way to set up the whole thing without either of us knowing. It meant so much to me and even more to my dad for him to go above and beyond to make my dad feel special and give him a birthday celebration he will never forget.
We saw elephants, buffalo, leopards, a rhino, lions, so many birds, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeest, zebra, a black mamba, many types of antelope, monkeys, baboons, and more. It’s one thing to see these animals on television and just a surreal experience to see them in person.
I know I experienced a lot of anxiety about choosing the right company, especially from thousands of miles away in the US, for this safari. I can confidently say I do not have one single regret about booking with Meijo. It was a life changing experience and we will definitely be back for more.

Extremely well organised & our guide, Michael, was excellent!
We booked the 5-day luxury safari for our honeymoon which covered Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. We booked the trip through Daudi who was very quick to respond to any questions we had.
We met our tour guide, Michael, on day 2 who was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about African Culture. Many times on Safari he spotted animals before we did and always made sure we were satisfied before moving on. Michael slightly amended our programme to ensure we spent more time in the three major parks we visited. Due to this we were lucky enough to see 4 of the big 5 (the leopard was too shy). We wish we had more time in Serengeti as it was an amazing place, we wish the programme covered 2 full days in Serengeti instead of Lake Manyara as we saw the same wildlife here as Tarangire.
The vehicle was well stocked with wine, beer and soft drinks, was comfortable and cleaned each evening. The only thing which could have made our experience even more memorable was the “just married” wheel cover!
The accommodation that we chose was amazing, great food, clean and comfortable rooms and lovely helpful staff and who always had a smile on their face.
Thank you Meijo Safari. Tanzania was a place that we will never forget. We will tell our friends and family about Meijo and hopefully one day we will be back to see the Leopard!
