Go on a game drive in Tanzania!
5/5

When it comes to travel, we are more of a “do-it-yourselfer” traveller, the excitement of planning your first safari can start well, but very quickly become overwhelming. But this time all arrangements were up to the mark with the help of Zee and Erick. It's really important to have someone you can rely on, supporting you, even from a distance.
It was a wonderful experience for us. A four-day safari that, in retrospect, might be the highlight of all our vacations so far.

The driver (Immanuel) just was very cooperative, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed his company. Nature doesn’t work to a schedule, and no two game drives are alike. But that is also what makes going on safari so fascinating and it is worth having an experienced guide and driver like Immanuel!

All accommodations and transportation arrangements were excellent. The holiday ran like clockwork & it was impeccably organised. All that we asked for was provided & we cannot fault the organisation from start to finish. Would use Msangai Adventure Safaris again without hesitation.

Africa is close to our hearts and we were so excited to finally go on Safari in Tanzania.

Thanks & Regards,
Razvan, Roxana & Daria

A super professional, caring, and attentive company! Amazing value for money!
5/5

Wow, where do I start! Our 5 day safari experience with Msangai Adventure was out of this world! Me and my wife just finished the tour yesterday, and we came for Calving Season of the Wildebeest. On our trip, we covered Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP (Ndutu Area), Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Manyara NP. Honestly, from start to finish, the iternary was perfectly planned! We were picked up from JRO Airport after landing and taken to our hotel in Arusha . The driver was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about Tanzania along the way. After arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by Eric (one of the company owners) who introduced himself and gave us a briefing about the safari followed by us asking him any questions / addressing any concerns we had. He answered everything we needed to know, and due to us being vegan, he made it very clear that he had informed all the lodges about our dietary requirements to ensure we had suitable food! He even made sure the hotel we were staying at for the first night, which we booked ourselves, knew about our dietary requirements, which was very helpful. The following day, we were picked up and greeted by our tour guides, who were James and Emmanuel. These guys from the get-go were super friendly and very welcoming! They explained again what we would be doing and informed us about every stop off a long the way to our safari experience. When we pulled up to get fuel, Eric also came to meet us again to send his best wishes for our trip and made sure again that we were comfortable and happy with everything. We then set off to our first destination, which was Tarangine NP. The safari jeep was amazing! It was very spacious , comfortable, and clean. It had many pockets on the chairs to store your phones / cameras / gadgets etc ... and it had charging points, which were handy! We had an unlimited supply of bottled water , and the drivers got me a few beers while my wife had some soft drinks for us to enjoy on our game drives. Both James & Emmanuel were so easy to get on with and talk to. Their English was so good, and we all understood each other very clearly. If we ever had a question, they always had an answer or would try to find out. The drives between parks can be hours long, so it's very important that you feel comfortable around your drivers, and we spoke about many things while joking along the way. We learnt a lot about Tanzania culture from them , and they were very interested in our lifestyle / culture too! Across all of the parks, we were so blessed to see 4 of the big 5 (we only missed seeing a leopard). We literally saw Zebra's , wildebeest, lions , lionesses, cheetahs, giraffes , elephants, buffalos , gazelles, ostriches, baboons , various monkeys , various birds & we even saw two black rhinos which is super rare! I know the drivers can't guarantee what you will see, but they made sure we got to all the right places to have the best chance! We always felt safe and confident in their driving, too , and they always got us as close as allowed to the animals for unreal photos / videos. The lodges we stayed in across the 5 days were unbelievable, too! The 1st night was at Marera Valley Lodge , 2nd & 3rd were at Serona Ndutu Mobile Camp, and the 4th night was at a sister lodge to Marera. The food at all lodges was so good! And due to Eric letting each place know we were vegan in advance, they had special dishes prepped, especially for us! Each day, you would get a packed lunch for your gane drive as well, which normally included fruit , bread/sandwich, juice , water, and some veg & rice. The staff at all the lodges were super friendly! On arrival they would clean your bag , give you a rag to clean your face, give you a fresh juice to drink , take your bags to the room , brief you about the grounds / times for dinner etc . The quality of the lodges for the money we paid was so good! We couldn't believe how nice they were. By far our favourite stay was in the mobile camps for our 2 nights in the Serengeti. Luckily for us, we were the only 2 guests for our stay, so we had such a personal experience, and we bonded very well with the group of guys running the camp. The tents were luxury with a proper toilet, shower , sink, and a spacious sleeping area, which had 2 beds and mosquito nets. The best part was waking up in the morning and seeing giraffes and zebras fill the fields around us while they grazed. The sound of the birds and insects throughout the day & night was so relaxing, too! You really felt like you were in the centre of nature. The food here was so well thought of, and it was our favourite! Then, each night, we would sit around the camp fire, which they called Bush Television haha, and share stories together! Something I will remember forever. At the end of each day Eric would always drop me a message to ask how the day went and make sure we were happy with everything! Therefore, as you can see me and my wife were over the moon with this trip, and it's actually emotional writing this as it has come to an end! But honestly, do not have any doubts about booking with this company! If you want a very personal experience, where you feel valued alongside having friendly, knowledgeable drivers, this is the company to book with! Not to mention, you will pay much less than other companies who all do the same thing! I compared across 6 main companies and the iternary is very similiar and most use the same lodges! So why pay more? We also left an expensive soap at the mobile camp by accident, but we couldn't go back as it was over 4 hours away, so James took us in to the supermarket in Arusha and ensured we were able to buy something similar by asking around for us! They really do go above and beyond. Thank you so much, Msangai, for this once in a lifetime experience, which you made even more memorable! Eric should be proud of the company he is developing, and I wish business continues to blossom! James & Emmanuel, you guys are the best, and as you said yourself, we are family now, haha ! Brothers and sisters for life! I have so much more, I could say, but words can only cover so much! Much love and Asante sana Msangai

Great organization, good communication. Perfect choice for privat tour
5/5

We have visited two different spots for safari (Ngorongoro and Tarangire) and we loved them both. The Ngorongoro crater was very different experience than any other safari. The wildlife, atmosphere and calmness is magic. We have used Msangai Adventure Ltd for our tour and only the best recommendations we may give.

Trip was perfectly organized from the very beginning till the end. Communication was clear and on time. They replied on our emails answering on all questions with details. We knew every part of the trip. We were picked up from the airport from Arusha by the owner of the company and our tour guide and we started first day of safari trip. Our guide was super friendly, helpfull and had hudge knowledge about animals and parks which we visited. He knew answers on our all questions. We stayed in very nice and comfortable hotel. We felt super safe and comfortable during whole 3 days of the trip. I highly recommend that company if you think about safari in Tanzania.

They delivered more then expected
5/5

We did a 5 day safari which exceeded our expectations.
Masangai Adventure arranged everything for us and delivered as planned and as per the itinerary that they proposed. Often exceeding our expectations.
Our safari guides were very nice, polite, respectful to the environment and overall knowledgeable.
We learned a lot, not only about the animals and nature but also about the culture and lifestyle of those who are less fortunate then us.
An experience of a lifetime which we strongly recommend.

Very friendly guides, efficient and they ensure you get the best from your safari.
5/5

Our safari with Msangai Adventure was one of the best things we have ever done. The communication with Zeeshan and Eric when organising the trip was second to none. As for our guide, Emanuel, he made our 3 days in the Serengeti an unforgettable experience. He guided us to as many animals as possible, and he made sure we saw them from as close as he was allowed. His driving on the rough Serengeti roads was impressive but even more so was his knowledge of the Serengeti, the animals, the plants, and Tanzania in general. We have learned so much in the last few days.

The Tukaone Camp where we spent 2 nights was an amazing experience and we were looked after so well. The highlight of the camp experience has to be the elephants that came through the camp site on our first night there.

We could not recommend Msangai Adventure enough for the personalised Safari experience they provide.

Great experience, great guide, great support
5/5

We had a very nice Safari with Mzangai Adventure and especially with our guide Franck who was so kind. He gave us so many explanations on the animals, how they behave and why. Franck’s perfect eyesight (and some luck) allows us to see the BigFive within just 2 days at Tarangire and Ngrongoro ! Other guides just followed him to see species. We stayed at Marera Lodge for 2 days which was also very nice: dinner, lunch, breakfast and swimming pool. The Jeep was also good and I recommend to have private tour for this unique experience which will stay in our memory. The support given by Msangai was great when they took care of a change of a flight ticket !

An adventure and a cultural experience that we will not forget! Thank you Erick and Omar!
5/5

Africa is magical, from that red earth to the endless savannah with the most beautiful sunset!
It was an adventure and a cultural experience that we will not forget!

The Serengeti is the endless land, as the Maasai people call it.

In the Serengeti, we stayed at Tukaone Lodge, with rooms overlooking the African savanna, where every evening we heard the howling of hyenas, jackals, antelopes grazing near our tent, and in the morning you could sit and drink your coffee waiting for a new day of safari. In the Serengeti we met the king of animals and his partner near our accommodation.

A safari day starts in the morning, around half past seven, with a lot of curiosity and the hope that you will be able to observe as many animals as possible.
Because we are talking about wild animals that are in constant motion, you have to rely on the intuition and experience of the guides to find out their position and on your skilled eyes to observe them. The experience is extraordinary. I saw herds of elephants, from the smallest to the largest, from the old to the young, all coming to the river in the middle of the afternoon to bathe and cool off.

We cannot express in words the feeling we had when next to the jeep another family of lions were relaxing and having sex.
I also admired my favorite animals: zebras and giraffes, but also antelopes, hyenas, warthogs, the secretary bird, the cheetah (thanks to the driver/guide Omar), the leopard in an acacia tree, hippos.

In the crown of the acacia trees you could observe the magnificent giraffes, with their long necks in the Serengeti sunset.

The second stop was in Ngorongoro, a huge volcanic crater, actually a caldera, where we admired wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, pink flamingos, a family of lions with cubs, the rhinoceros which was quite far away, but through the lens of the camera photographed, we managed to spot him and bring him home in photos, hippos, warthogs.

In Africa they were: extraordinary, impeccable services, warm people and always with a smile on their faces.

Don't miss Africa, because it is a wonderful experience of getting to know and observing nature.
In Tanzania we lived unique experiences with Msangai Adventures through Erick and our guide whom we recommend, Omar!
I left with great enthusiasm for Zanzibar where I had a fabulous stay, but also with the thought of our return to Tanzania and even to Zanzibar, which I kept crossing off the list!

Excellent Safari - Great Trip!!!
5/5

It was a very easy process from booking to pick up at our original hotel in Moshi, through to the final drop off in Arusha.
Zee, Eric and our guides Emanuel and James were great. The trip was well planned and they kept us well informed of how each leg of the safari was going to go.

We would definitely recommend going for a full 7 days during the great migration. You won’t get bored as you will be able to see a new area with new sights and animals almost every day. James and Emanuel were the perfect guides as far as teaching us about the plants and animals, and ensuring we got up close enough for some great pictures.

They were truly really fun guys that we enjoyed spending time with - and you do spend a lot of time with your guides (they eat most meals with you!).

Accommodations in the bush camps as well as the nicer places that we upgraded to in karatu were good too. You will always feel welcome and full of good food.

The only criticism I would have is the credit card payment process. The small fee is understandable given that your providers have to pay this normally, but the verification system they use is a bit cumbersome if you are already away from our home country.

This safari was amazing value and we got to see every animal and experience (a lion hunt, kill, and Mara river crossing) on our list.

We will 100% recommend this company to any of our friends and family looking to come to Tz.
