Amazing safari experience!
5/5

Everything was perfect, first the communication before arriving (telf, WhatsApp) and organization. Once there, our guide ABOUBAKAR was phenomenal very kind and funny and he explained us everything about the different animals and parks. Perfect punctuality and attitude, he was always ready to stop where we wanted to take pictures, stops on the road etc. ABOUBAKAR was not only our safari guide but the full experience guide!
The hotels included were also very good. A solid 10 experience and a bunch of great memories

Unforgettable Experience
5/5

For some years it was high on my list to go with my daughter (12 years old) travelling, to let her see elephants in the wild. This year was the year, we went to Tanzania with Kanje grand tours, and it was an unforgettable experience. For me to see how my daughter is experiencing her great adventure, I will never forget it and I am very grateful for having these memories now. I booked a private safari of 4 days, Salim was our guide and driver, we were fortunate to be in his company, we not only enjoyed his professionality but also we had a very good time together and I thank him very much for giving us this experience! We visited 3 parks;
Tarangire National Park, were we saw elephants for the first time! Ngorongoro Conservation Area (which is inside an unactive volcano) and Serengeti National Park, here my daughter also celebrated her 12th birthday at The Sound of Silence, at diner the entire Sound of Silence team came singing and dancing for her, you should see her face! Unforgettable!!! Thank you, Jan (owner) and your entire team, for such a hart warming birthday celebration!!
After the Serengeti back on the East African Highway for an African massage (because according to Salim, it is the worst highway in Tanzania, it is a very long dirt road), were we spent our last night at Karibu Heritage House. The next day we continued our journey to Zanzibar for more amazing experiences.
Thank you very much Kanje Grand Tours, Innocent, Lily and Salim for giving us such a wonderful, everlasting experience,

Excellent from Beginning to the End
5/5

Going with them was a PERFECT decision. Their attention to detail is impeccable. We met our guide Abou on the first day. He was wonderful, knowledgeable, with a good sense of humor, and give us an all around great game experience.

The trip itself is demanding because, wake up Early in the morning, long days on rough roads, and being on high alert and attentive to all the many creatures big and small you’ll encounter.

We so loved our seamless travel experience with Kanje grand tours that we were truly saddened when we had to leave and go back home.

Kanje's price was also very good compare with other agents. We really want to come back to another safari next time.

Everything is was excellent!
5/5

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Kanje Grand Tours!
I was travelling to Tanzania as a solo-female traveller I felt safe and well looked after at all times.

Innocent came to meet me before and after the tour to discuss the details which I thought was a nice touch.

I did a 6 day tour visiting 4 parks (lake manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater). This was perfect for me as I was able to spend 2 nights/ 3days in Serengeti. (The car journey to Serengeti is fairly long so I would recommend 2 nights there if possible.)

I chose to do a shared safari. Kanje Grand Tours partners with another company to provide shared tours. I was a bit apprehensive about this initially, however the driver was very experienced and vehicle quality (land cruiser) was good (comfortable and well maintained). Both are essential for a good safari experience.

I very much enjoyed the shared safari tour as I had a lovely sociable group.
Our driver (Mitinangi) was absolutely brilliant. He knew the animals and parks like the back of his hand. We always ended up in the best spots with amazing views of the animals. He made sure we saw the Big 5 including the Rhino!

The food was great. We had a cooked lunch everyday which was pretty tasty!

The communication with Kanje Grand Tours was excellent. I always received a reply promptly and they were happy to clarify doubts.

I chose to go for a mid-range tour staying in lodges and tented camps. I liked that the company gave me range of options of places to stay in each park so I was able to choose accommodation according to my budget and preferences.

I stayed at Marera mountain view lodge (2nights) and Angata Serengeti Tented Camp (2nights). Both were outstanding and beautiful, with brilliant service. It was nice to have the luxuries of a hot shower after a long day of safari.
The food at the Angata Serengeti Camp needs a special mention as it was wonderful!

I was meant to stay at Ngorongoro Angata Camp for my last night, however on the day I decided to swap to the public camp as I wanted to have this experience. (Thanks to my driver for organising a tent and sleeping bag at last minute!) I loved the camping experience as well. Dinner and campfire was magic. The Zebras were munching right outside my tent! I have to say it was quite cold on the crater rim so do pack a fleece + hat!

Overall I would recommend Kanje Grand Tours to my family and friends. They provided me with a great safari experience at a fair price.

Materuni Waterfall trek & Coffee Farm
5/5

We went on a day trip to Materuni waterfalls and coffee tour with Kanje safari.
This trip was incredible, our guide Salim was really lovely and made sure we had an amazing experience.
The waterfall was magnificent, and the hike there was very fun, going through the banana and coffee plantations and forest- but it was a bit muddy so trainers with grip are required!
The coffee experience was lots of fun, and we had a large and delicious traditional meal made by local Chaga people, including coffee we had just roasted.
Salim went above and beyond taking us to a local bar to try banana beer, and then the beautiful lake Deluti to watch the sunset.

This was an incredibly magical day which exceeded all my expectations

Pole Pole - don’t stop to the top!
5/5

From planning through to airport collection through to the end of the trip everything was perfectly executed by Kanje.

I would fully recommend booking your Kilimanjaro lifetime experience with Kanje. The scenery on the Lemosho route was stunning. The kit from tents to dining were of good quality and I would fully recommend hiring your sleeping bag and jacket from Kanje to ensure you have the right quality for the cold.

If you can get on a trip with Daniel as your head tour guide you are guaranteed to be in the safest team on the mountain (Ally, Joshua, Frank, Eric and Paul were with us as well and also amazing). The task of moving so many people and equipment from camp site to camp site needs strong leadership and this was present with this team.

The chefs kept us energised and full producing culinary delights throughout the trip.

Without the above wonderful men and some summit porters I would never have had the experience I had.

I made some great new friends and wonderful memories and I’m sure anyone doing this trip will have the same experience.

Highly recommended

A week ago now I have just finished 8 days lemosho trek up Kili with Kanje grand tours. I can't recommend them enough, they will get you to the top and in such a profession and encouraging way! You won't go hungry and you'll always know what the plans are as you go. Our tents were always waiting for us and the food was always ready and it was delicious! Our guide John, kept a watchful eye on us and were always there to encourage us. In fact the whole team did their part superbly. My summit was not possible without my guides. Kanje grand tours looked after us from start to finish. A great company to choose should you accept the challenge to climb the highest free standing mountain on earth!!”

Definitely the best
5/5

From the day that I reached out to Kanje grand tours by email, to the very end of the trip they were always a pleasure to deal with. Responses were always timely, communication was open and honest, the price was always fair and transparent. Through the trip all of the logistics were taken care of so we could spend our time looking at the animals instead of getting caught up in logistics. The recommendations made by Innocent were excellent and always came with options and explanations as to why or why not we should do something/go somewhere. This was very helpful for us to decide what we wanted to do with our limited time in the country. Lastly, the price we paid up front was the price for everything. There was never any unexpected fees at any point in the trip.

Our driver was also excellent. His knowledge was excellent, and his experience showed when it came time to get great views of the animals and to coordinate with other drivers.

Absolutely gorgeous
5/5

This company are absolutely spot on in every way. From dealing with Innocent in the U.S., our guide Salim and chef ‘Gordon Ramsey’ everything was perfect. We went to Taragine, Serengeti and Ngorogoro and it blew our minds. Also the price was very reasonable compared to other companies - I would wholeheartedly recommend Innocent and his team. 5 out of 5 without hesitation.

Excellent!!
5/5

I would give 10 stars if that was an option. From my first communication with Innocent, until they dropped me off at the airport at the end of my trip, it was perfect. Our guide Vincent was excellent, so much knowledge, and always got us right up to what we wanted to see. The lodgings, safari trucks, meals were all amazing. As a solo female traveler, I was apprehensive as to how safe I would feel. These guys were all top notch, and I never felt uncomfortable, unsafe, or alone. Would definitely use again if I get a chance to go back. The safari was out of this world fantastic!! Asante sana!!
