CRAZY EXPERIENCE!
I am a great travel regular and I can tell you that it is an incredible experience! Everything is perfect, the lodges, the places, the catering and especially all the people who work there. it's faultless! A big thank you to the whole team as well as to Anton for the Safari day and to Simba for the walking safari. They were awesome!

Fantastic
This was a wonderful trip!
My guide Alfa and driver Omari were so gracious, knowledgeable and pleasant to spend time with.
The hotel has very basic rooms but there are animals at the watering hole and pool and even bush babies at the bar!!! The staff especially the Maasai were a highlight.
It was a good idea to 2 days of game drives because I saw loads of animals…even lions mating!
This was beyond my expectations

Amazing!
This experience was absolutely amazing! The communication via Instagram, the tour guide, the tour - everything was great. We saw almost all the animals and made superb photos. I recommend this agency to everyone!

The tour operator could have been much more professional
The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because on the day of arrival at i camp, the toilet was clogged and there was no water all afternoon. The next day there were problems with the electricity supply. There was no electricity for several hours and the door lock did not work. Problems in the entire camping area there are. The whole day Safari was wonderful. Michael was our guide. He was very professional, he showed us everything and did everything to make everyone satisfied. The first 2 days were unforgettable, but instead of the last day (bushman walk), I think it's one more day Safari would be better. Overall, I am satisfied.

Couldn't have dreamed for anything better !
Anton is the best guide you could have for a safari ! He knows the reserve like the back of his hand and will take you to the best places.
We've seen tons of animals during those two days of jeep safari. Anton has an exceptional knowledge of nature, animals, birds and insects and will always have something to teach you. We had two wonderful days !
Trust me you won’t be disappointed !
so ... Allons-y !
Thank you so much Anton !!

Well organized and accommodating operator with excellent guide/lodge
I did a 5 day safari (mid-range, private) at Selous National Park with my family, which included a short boat trip on the first day, two full days of Jeep safari, a boat safari, and then a bushwalk and Maasai village visit on the final day. We had an absolutely amazing time. Between the flight, lodge, guides, and different activities there are a lot of moving pieces to manage and Uwanda tours was able to organize what we requested and be flexible with last minute changes. When planning, be sure to triple confirm dates, travel times and activities as there are multiple emails/messages back and forth. We did have some last minute mix-ups with dates, but Uwanda was able to resolve everything smoothly.
Our guide Mr. Martin and our driver Mr. Ramadani made our safari experience exceptional. They both have many years of experience working at Selous and it shows. Mr. Martin knows the animals' typical habits and where to best spot them, allowing us to see amazing events like a wildebeest herd's daily migration to drink water, a zebra/giraffe/gnu hangout spot, and baboons howling around a lion to warn other nearby animals of its presence. Mr. Ramadani is an expert at navigating the off-road conditions of Selous, and gets you closer to animals than you would think possible. They will also go above and beyond to give you the memories of a lifetime, for example staying in the park later than typically planned in order to catch a mother lion and her three cubs resting and playing under a tree.
We stayed at Africa Safari Selous lodge which was run by an exceptional manager, Mark, who knew our schedule better than we even did and made sure we were always in the right place at the right time. Again, being flexible is key- there was an issue with room availability for our first night and they only had one hut available instead of the three we had booked. We were offered housing in another lodge for that night. Instead, we chose to sleep in the two tents they had available both for the fun of it and to avoid the hassle of going to another site just for one night. In the end, everything worked out (it seems to work out for everyone) and we had a truly unforgettable experience.

a beautiful day with the wild animals.
The safari in the Nyerere Park in Tanzania was vers good. We had a very friendly guide who spent a lot of time to show us the wonderfull views and landscapes . Martin was very calm to find us the wild animals and explain their behavior. We were able to admire the bigs five (lion, elephant, giraffe, hyena, antelope, crocodile, hippopotamus, warthog, monkeys,..) . Plane flights, jeep transfers, lunches, everything was perfect.
only negative point was the lodge who was dirty, noisy (hydrophore unit), lack of hot water in the morning and frugal and poor quality meals.

Mr Hassan was incredibly responsive and did everything to please us, even last minute plane changes.
Our family of 5 with adult children spent a wonderful 5 days at Nyerere Park. The tour operator takes care of all the details and you do not have to worry about anything. From pick up in Zanzibar, flight to Nyerere, drive to the lodge (Africa Safari camp) , games, excursions and return to Dar Es Salam, everyone was always on time. The lodge itself is rustic with very large, clean, attractive and comfortable quarters ( I would recommend the banda) and good mosquito nets. Of course this is not a luxury camp so do not expect windows, air conditioning, electricity 24/7 and a hair dryer. The manager Mr. Marc has the best personality and will solve all your issues. Forgot your adaptor- he will find one. No cash to settle your bills- he will take a credit card. No hot water- he will make it appear. Meals were included and plentiful, if a bit repetitive but the logistics of feeding so many people far from everywhere is mind boggling. The excursions were of course the highlight of our stay and we truly believe we had the best guide (Mr. Martin) and driver (Mr. Ramson). They drove us tirelessly from morning to dusk through very diverse landscapes and were able to spot all the animals we had hoped to see. We were literally face to face with elephants, visited a lioness with her cubs, observed a very large herd of buffalo lining for the water and spied on a hyena crunching the spine of a carcasse. In the last hours of our last drive, Mr Martin pushed on and managed to spot a male lion which he said we could not leave Tanzania without seeing. We bathed in the hot springs, did a long river boat where we saw many types of birds (in addition to hippos plenty) including an African Fish Eagle catching fish and pushing his victory call. In addition to being a great tracker, Mr Martin was an excellent source of information on all subjects. On our last day we visited a Masai family. With the help of Mr Martin as a translator, we were able to ask many questions and answer theirs. There was also a friendly Masai jumping/dancing competition betweeen our boys and the boys of the family which was a lot of fun. I cannot conclude without mentioning the bush walk with Dr. Simba who is such a character and will make you laugh with his stories. Everyone we met in Tanzania was very friendly. All in all incredible memories. We really did not want to leave.
