Well organised, and amazing people with stunning safari.
I was anxious when I booked this tour as it was significantly cheaper than all the others I had found. Communication and quote came back instantly. There was not a lot of o formation coming out prior to the trip, which did make me a little anxious, but I needn’t have been. The minute our driver was assigned to pick us up ( who was fabulous) we were nurtured and cared for throughout the trip. We were handed to a guide at the airport who then helped us to arrivals. The safari drive was stunning. We had the most amazing guide who was so determined to give us the best possible experience, which he did. Lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras etc. we were treated to a stunning full cooked lunch in the middle of the day which was a total surprise. The lodge at the end was delightful. Air conditioning, a pool and lovely food. All in all this was a really stunning trip.

Michael is an very experienced guide. Told us nice stories about his moments with the wild animals.
Very safe tour with experienced guide. We saw the big 3. Elephant, African Buffalo and the Lion. They respect that this can be a one life experience and that we come from far away they make the tour feel special.

Excellent tour operator for your safari
The safari was beautiful. We got to see almost every animal and even got really close to some of them. The organization was perfect, everything went smoothly. We ended up doing all the experiences. Our driver Kapande was excellent and made the safari even more special. He managed to spot all the animals and spread his knowledge about them to us. When it stared to rain his driving abilities were impressive, making the ride even more funny and adventurous. Meeting really nice people like him always makes the trip unforgettable!

helpful and kind
Our wonderful guide was Kapand,. He picked us up at the hotel and after 4h we arrived in Selous (Nyerere NP). The Safari day was beautiful and Kapande explained everything to us perfectly. The next day he took us to the bush walk and the boat Safari, unfortunately we could only do two days but everything was so beautiful that we could have done more. Thanks Uwanda tour and especially thanks Kapande.

The whole 3day Safari was organised perfectly
We booked a 3day/2night safari with this organisation. We went to the Nyerere National park and stayed at the Selous safari lodge. Our tourguide was Bakari and he was very cool, knows his stuff and gave us a very chill and beautiful experience. This was our first time and I am definitely coming back again. The whole stay was arranged to the details. Pick up in Dar es Salaam was on time (he was always early). The lodge was also very beautiful and the program was perfect. Enough time for activities and also enough time for rest since it is quite intense (with the sunny weather).
Personally I recommend to drive from Dar es Selaam to Nyerere because the scenery is amazing, but after the 3days I would recommend to fly back.

Amazing safari in the wild life
We got taken in charge from beginning to end it was a really good experience.
Someone came to pick us up, from our hotel (which was far away from stone town) brought up to the port, someone else gave us tickets, at the arrival our driver Kapande took care of us for 3 days answering all our questions and giving us more context.
During our Safari we had the chance to see a lot of animals among which were Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Impalas, Baboons, Pumbas, and much more.
We also were provided with food (delicious) and water.
The tented camp had its charm as well

Perfect safari experience with safe, caring and knowledgeable drivers/guides. Truly amazing!
Kapande and Samwel took care of our group of 10, making sure we arrived safe and sound at the Nyerere National Park. They are both highly experienced drivers and extremely knowledgable about the area. We loved the scenic road trip, the incredible sight of animals up close and the wonderful hospitality of the locals. Communication with Salumu was excellent and super flexible to accommodate all needs. We highly recommend Uwando Tours for a memorable Tanzania safari!
Good communication and quick reply to any queries
Our overall experience was great. Uwanda Tours arranged nice lodges and a well-experienced, reliable, punctual and funny guide (H. Kapande) who took care of us and our needs e.g. when travel plans changed.
Furthermore Uwanda Tours was very cooperative when there was an overbooking in our first lodge (not their fault) and we had to stay in another one for a night.
Even though the time spend in the car to get from one national park to the other (unpaved roads included) was quite long (6-8h), our guide drove safe and steady and tried his best to make us feel comfortable (restroom break, always enough water in the car, lunch packages…).
We had a great time and would go again with Uwanda Tours.

Amazing experience with Mr.Kapande, the best tour guide I ever had
The safari experience was an amazing adventure thanks to Mr. Kapande smile, kindness and availability. My friend and I came all the way from France and we were hoping to live an unforgettable experience. Little did we know that the tour was going to be better than everything we could have imagine. Everyday was unique, joyful, full of knowledge and incredible human interactions. Booking this safari tour is definitely one of the best decision we could have made to live a breathtaking experience.
We were looking for a high quality of service and unforgettable memories to cherish forever. Between the boat safari, the drive in the park, the visit of Mloka- village and the morning walk with our Masaï guide, everything was perfect. The staff working in the lodge was amazing, they were polite, genuinely kind, patient and welcoming. Given all this, I will definitely recommend this agency and mostly Mr.Kapande who highly contributed to us spending a life changing adventure. Asante my friend !
