Joseph is incredibly knowledgeable, dependable, patient, and I would recommend to anyone!
This is my second time traveling with Joseph on White Plains Safaris. I had no hesitation to travel with Joseph again because of his professionalism, great communication, value, and because I knew I could trust him to lead a flawless tour.
He will work with you to customize an ideal trip combining your desires of value, where to visit, how long to dwell in each area, and is very quick to respond. On the actual safari, he is very flexible to your needs and you can ask to make changes on the spot if necessary and he will let you know the options and accommodate as necessary. I'm a very prolific photographer and he was awesome on the safaris in accommodating my desires for time to rise, meeting a sunrise or particular vista, or other preferences to get the shot that I was looking for.
Furthermore, what sets him apart is his great english skills, familiarity with the national parks, and knowledge of the animals and fauna. I'm sure you won't regret traveling with Joseph!

Amazing and informative guide, made the tours very easy
Joseph made the day in Nairobi incredibly easy. He took care of the tickets for all of our events before, so we didn't have to pay or wait in lines anywhere. He is a great driver and very knowledgeable about so many topics. We saw many wonderful places, went to his recommended spots for lunch and coffee after, which were both excellent. It was a very easy and relaxing day for us as he took care of it all.

Exceptional Safari Experience
Spirit of Tanzania provided us with an exceptional experience! Vincent and all of the guides were very friendly, especially Abdul. The experience itself was incredible, we saw soooo many animals, even leopards and white rhinos, the hardest to find. We were with Abdul for 4 days, and I don't think there was a single question he didn't know the answer. Many thanks to Vincent, John, Abdul, and Nathan -- it was the trip of a lifetime!

Thoroughly professional, reliable and courteous operator
From day 1 of the planning process to execution of the plan during the actual trip, White Plains Safari have been amazing. The itinerary was perfect, personal and met our requirements. The logistics were thoroughly planned and executed. Everything went to plan to the clock and it covered well beyond our expectations. The choice of camps, the food, the accommodation and the travel couldn't have been more comfortable.

White Plains Safaris offers superb, respectful, relaxed experience
White Plains Safaris took us on an unforgettable safari to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Amboseli. The trip was meticulously planned with a nice choice of a variety of places to stay, while also being able to accommodate some flexibility. The experience is hard to put in words, the kindness of het people, the grace and symbiose of different animals, the colours, the overnight stays and sunsets/sunrises in the wild, the spectaculair views. Furthermore we lucky to witness the amazing trek of wildebeests at Mara River.
What I liked in particular is that White Plains Safaris stood out in being respectful, not letting themselves be driven by hitlist/tick-off sheet of the Big5, but the overall experience, took time to tell us about the birdlife and the responsible approach to nature, animal life, the people and the team in its hands.
A huge thank you to the entire team at White Plains Safaris, we wholeheartedly recommend them to all our friends, colleagues and everybody else!

Wonderful and magical safari!
White Plains Safaris and Joseph as the guide made my holiday very worthwhile and enjoyable indeed.
It was magical.. Another tour of the many that my family and I have taken with Joseph and White Plains. Knowledgeable and patient Joseph made sure that our morning and evening game drives did not disappoint. Visiting Amboseli, Tsavo west and Tsavo East National parks was a dream come true as we spotted all the big fives.
Thanks Joseph and White Plains Safaris for a wonderful and unforgettable holiday.. looking forward to the next one already!

Knowledgeable, Professional, Flexible, Fantastic guide and safari! Will be back with WhitePlains!
I have been on many safaris and this one was the best so far. Josephs took us to 3 national parks and a conservancy - Amboseli, Tsavo West, Tsavo East and Taita Hills conservancy. The variety of animals and birds we saw was incredible and Joseph was a fabulous guide explaining each and every single one, taking the time to answer all of our questions as we are avid safari fans. He was very patient with the children as well and really made their safari experience exhilarating. Joseph would give us as much time as we wanted to see the animals and was very flexible on timing departure from hotels depending on the itinerary for the day. On our last day of safari, we came across a pair of mating lions at around 8.30am and Joseph gave us a full hour to observe, take pictures and videos and be mesmerised. It was literally a private screening with no other tourist vehicles and felt magical! A memory for a lifetime and all thanks to Joseph/Whiteplains for making this possible!

Friendly, courteous, reliable, professional and enabled us to enjoy our Safari trip to the fullest.
We had a fantastic time on our Safari trip with White Plains Safari. Joseph was very courteous and ensured we saw various animals and birds and wanted us to be able to make the most of our vacation. He took us around effortlessly naming all the lovely animals and birds we saw and he was kind, responsible, professional and very friendly! We absolutely loved Salt Lick Safari Lodge in Taita Hills Conservancy. It was a gem of a find! We saw lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, gazelles and lots of other animals and exotic birds through our Safari trip to Amboseli, Taita Hills, Tsavo East and Tsavo West! We were stunned and amazed by the wonderful people we met along the way and the wonderful service we received from White Plains Safari. We will definitely return to Kenya soon again!
