Genuine
Had a great time with Porcupine for my very first Safari in Africa. Before I booked I looked at many different places and prices varied from reasonable to very expensive. I wanted to get the most out of the three days, so needed some tailoring done to find the best things to visit and see while near Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Anna and her daughter were very responsive through whatsapp and worked hard to give advice and plan the best things for me to see. The price was also extremely reasonable, and because it is a family business, I felt like supporting them as locals was the right way to go.
I arrived coming from Zanzibar to JRO airport which is pretty far from Arusha, where my tour was starting from. I was picked up late at night by Anna's daughter and son, who were wonderful to talk to while we drove the hour back to the city. I had accommodation before we departed on the safari the next morning along with dinner. I was treated absolutely amazing, making sure I had everything I needed. The safari itself was fantastic - the guide that we had knew exactly where to go and did not hesitate to get close to all the animals so that we could get the best possible pictures. Upon my return, I was also given a room where I could rest, and in the morning was driven back to the airport so I could continue my journey. All of this was included in the initial quote and no extra costs came up, which was very professional. I was very grateful that Anna was able to accommodate for my flight times there and back; I know it was not ideal and was really early/late, but you and your family made it work. Thank you so much.

Their team is very warm and friendly. Because I live in Israel, the war situation during this period has made travel unstable. They promised to keep my deposit indefinitely until I complete my trip. If there is time after landing, Juliana will take you to visit the most famous African art gallery in Arusha. My safari itinerary is 2 days in Serengeti central, 1 day in Ngorongoro crater and 1 day in Materuni waterfalls with hot spring, and the price is reasonable. The safari guide is very experienced and do his best to let us see the animals better. After the safari, MAMA Anna will still provide you with help. For example, when I wanted to buy local fruits, she asked the guide Edson to take me out and help me bargain. Highly recommended!
Great experience!
The Safari with Anna was pretty good. All staff was very friendly, open to suggestions concerning the safari itinerary, taking care of individual needs. We felt there was an amazing and professional communication beforehands which made it easy for us to decide for Anna's safari.
Be aware of extra costs (3,5% ) when paying via pesapal! Nevertheless we found it a fair price considering it includes food, safari car, guides and even a first free night in Anna's hotel. We definitely can recommend this safari agency!

Best experience EVER!
Imagine being welcomed and treated like part of the family from the very first moment. Anna and Julianna are examples of wonderful people who do their work with love and treat people with the utmost purity. What's more, they're always there for you, for every question you have and they'll welcome you from the first moment to the last as if you were part of the family. Their care and professionalism is incredible. I celebrated my birthday there and had the best time of my life. They didn't leave me alone for a minute and it was full of nice surprises. If you're traveling alone, there's no doubt that this is the right agency for you to feel safe in Tanzania. Amazing!

Mama Anna goes the extra mile, and proves she is the mother of Safari
When our bus arrived 3 hours late in Arusha my girlfriend and I were panicking, without any WiFi or mobile service we thought our safari tour was over before it even began. From the moment we got out of the bus Mama Anna and her team got in contact with us and picked us up within a matter of minutes. We were stranded and all alone and Mama Anna saved us and gave us the most unforgettable trip of our lives. Our group were people of our age with whom we still hold contact, the communication went flawlessly, the meals were exquisite and everything was managed to perfection. On top of all of this when we were back from our dream holiday we were met with Mama Anna's daughter and son and their professional driver. We were a little stressed thinking we would not make it in time to the airport in Kilimanjaro and once again Mama Anna and her team proved they will go the extra mile. After a quick dinner they zoomed through the traffic and we were there in no time. Truly an exceptional experience and I recommend everyone to book with Mama Anna, for she truly is the one and only mother of Safari.

Absolutely fantastic
Anna and her children went above and beyond to welcome us and did everything right to help us organize the perfect safari trip.
We had some awesome local meals at her Inn, had a great guide for safari who is patient and responsible, and with some luck we saw a lot of animals including a glimpse of the migration.
Anna worked so hard to make sure everything goes smoothly for us - she checked in with us to make sure our asks are fulfilled. When we had down time, she also added a new activity for us in town so we get some additional cultural exposure outside of the pre-set itinerary. All these efforts she did it out of her genuine hospitality and kindness.
Highly recommend booking with Anna. This has been an unforgettable experience for us :)

Amazing experience!
Anna and her family are the most welcoming hosts ever. Anna is extremely helpful and always available to answer questions. She truly went above and beyond to ensure I had an unforgettable trip, even checking in on me after the safari to make sure everything was okay.
Anna’s daughters are also very friendly and made me feel like part of the family. They showed me around the city on the day of my arrival and helped me to get a local SIM card.
