Incredible team❤️
We had a fantastic time on our 6-day safari. Everything was very well organized, and the communication with Anna was seamless - she was always available to assist us. Anna and her family were incredibly caring and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were exceptionally generous and ensuring we were well taken care of. Even after the safari ended, they continued to check in, asking if everything was okay and offering their help.
Our tour guide, Jonas, was highly experienced and went above and beyond to create unforgettable memories for us. His instincts and keen eyesight were truly remarkable, allowing us to spot a wide variety of animals. Jonas is like a walking encyclopedia - he knows everything about all the animals, not just the popular ones. He was kind, funny, and did his absolute best to show us as much as possible.
In summary, this was an unforgettable experience, made even better by the incredible care and attention we received from such an attentive company❤️

Porcupine Expeditions takes care of you.
We had a wonderful 3-day experience organized by Anna, including Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and a fascinating day touring Mto Wa Mbu. From the moment we landed being picked up at the airport, to leaving the country, Anna and her daughter ensured that we got everything we needed and more. I even broke my phone on our trip, and Anna and her daughter called around to different repair people who could offer the best price and fly in a part from Dar Essalam to Arusha, then took me to the store to get it fixed! We were overwhelmed by their hospitality, making us feel welcome and comfortable in Tanzania. We will never forget our time in Tanzania mainland and will always be grateful for the great time we had there thanks to Porcupine Expeditions 🙏

EVERYTHING IS JUST PERFECT WITH THEM... ALL YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IS JUST WONDERFUL
Anne and her family are able to become your family in just a few days. I never met somebody like them, so passionate in welcoming, caring and making people feeling so confortable and at ease: she and all her family and friends are able to make people feel home even if guests are experiencing something so far from their home… they are so friendly natural spontaneous and caring that you always have the warm feeling of being protected but not in an intrusive way.. on the contrary, they respect privacy and all the cultural differences of their hosts… i have met other people who try to give this feeling to customers, but they seem artificial or just “working” and at the end they seem intrusive and fake…. Anne and her family have something rare and precious that no one else can give for sure: a passion so great and perceivable for what it does not look like a job for them. They really care, the want their hosts to have the most wonderful experience: we did a 3 days safari and we visited tribes along the lake Eyasi and the Materuni waterfalls : in 5 days we spent a lot of time together with them sharing point of views and life experiences, we learnt a lot about tanzanian culture and we became real friends. Everytime we had a doubt or we needed something they took care of everything without any effort, they took a lot of their time to share with us all that they could show about their city and the places we were visiting. All the people that work for Anne are superprofessional and all of them shows the same care for the needs of the guests. Mike the driver at the safari did all he could to let us catch all the animals, going faster than all the other cars we saw to try to be the first in front of the animals, and the chef who was with us managed to satisfy all our needs for our diets. also the driver in the city and to the waterfalls was perfect, frienly and competent on evrything we asked about. all the excursions were amazing experiences. we wish we could have more time to do all the rest they offer. Everything was just wonderful. After this experience with Porcupine Expeditions, i know i have people to visit in Tanzania, and i will do it for sure.

We booked 5-day safari drive with Porcupine in Tanzania. We had an amazing experience in the wild. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Highlands and the Crater. The wildlife throughout the trip was explendid.
In our trip, Anna was so friendly and helpful through the whole planning process. She gave different recommendations and was always available for questions. Arriving in Arusha and being took cared by Anna felt like we were visiting a friend in Tanzania. Her daughter and all the staff at the hotel and restaurant were so nice. Perfect Honeymoon in Tanzania
We had the Safari tour and Kilimanjaro hiking tour with Porcupine Expedition.
We were very nervous because we are very new in Africa and We are looking for the tour for our honeymoon before come to Tanzania.
But, We met Anna when we were in Tanzania, she gave us unforgettable memories.
In Serengeti National Park, We were in Group of 7, Our driver is very skilled Person over 10 years, he brought us to everywhere that animals was hiding in high rate. Especially, For the Lions, our driver is following his feeling to find them. we were worried that we couldn't meet any lions in the national park, but His feeling was worked every moments. we saw lots of lions because of him!
Furthermore, when we get some troubles, our driver was trying his best to solve it for us. we were very thanksful !
The only one thing what we were ashamed was that we couldn't meet any Rhinos in Ngorongoro Crater, but the scenery was fantastic!!
Next, In Killimanjaro National Park, We met 2 guides which name is Joshua and Msuya.
They were very kind and had plenty of knowledge about hiking Killimanjaro Summit.
They gave us enough time to adjust for high altitude mountain and cheer us up with the Songs by their own voices. it was really helpful to get to Summit.
For the food when we had in the tour was wonderful, especially Jjapati was the best one in our trip in Tanzania!
The day for the summit, we got high altitude sickness when we were hiking, it was really serious for us, but our guide gave us the GINGER TEA which make us calm and common.
We are sure that we couldn't get to the Summit without Ginger tea and our team.
I can't write everything down on this review, but they supported us for the only one goal which is getting the Summit.
you can go anywhere in Killimanjaro with them.
Thanks again, Joshua and Msuya, and Anna, We will miss you guys.

The most awe-inspiring trip!
We booked the 5 day safari drive with Porcupine and it was by far the most amazing holiday experience I have ever had. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti two nights, Ngorongoro Crater and then Kilimanjaro. The landscapes throughout the trip were amazing and the animals were surreal. Our driver also took us on some of the roads less travelled and we got to see so many animals even in transit.
Anna was so friendly and helpful through the whole planning process. She gave different recommendations and was always available for questions.
Arriving in Arusha and being hosted by Anna felt like we were visiting a friend in Tanzania. Her daughter and all the staff at the hotel and restaurant were so nice. We did an extra day trip to Materuni falls in the Kilimanjaro foothills. Our guide David was so helpful and arranged a good deal taxi for us early morning to the airport the next day. And then he checked in on us at 5am to ensure we arrived okay at the airport. We really felt like we were being hosted by friends.
We went in a group of 6 and all of us said that this will be the trip to remember.
Thanks to Anna and her whole team!

Unforgettable safari experience with Porcupine Expeditions and Mike!
Did a 3 day safari in a 7-person jeep, 2 days in the Serengeti and 1 day in the Ngorongoro. We started in Arusha, where we were welcomed by Anna and her team/family, who were some of the most caring and welcoming hosts I’ve experienced. They picked us up from the airport and provided accommodation. Our tour guide was Mike, who is clearly very experienced. In just 3 days we were able to see a cheetah, a leopard, lions, a rhino, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, elephants , vultures, multiple types of gazelles, hyenas, and many more. Mike was not only extremely kind but also funny, and made the trip an exciting and relaxing experience for us. We did one night in bungalow houses in the Serengeti, and one night camping in the Ngorongoro, where we saw elephants grazing 20 meters from the tents. The food was really tasty the whole trip, and never got sick, props to the chef for all his hard work. Overall an unforgettable trip, can’t recommend Porcupine expeditions, Anna, Mike, and the entire team enough!!

Fantastic Experience!
Booking our 3-day safari through Porcupine was amazing! Anna was a fantastic host in Arusha and made sure everything ran smoothly. We stayed at her hotel in the city and her daughter showed us around the town before we headed out on our safari. Our guide was fantastic and over the three day we were able to see basically every animal in the Serengeti! The big five, plus others, were all hunted down by our guide Mike, who was constantly on the radio with other guides to help track them down.
The only negative experience (which truly wasn’t a big deal, mainly an observation and slight cause of confusion) was how things seemed to be run by different companies? We booked our Safari through Porcupine, who picked us up and made sure everything went smoothly, but our actual guide worked for a different company. Then, after our Safari, our guide got us a driver to take us back to town, who then gave us to another driver to take us to our hotel. Everyone seemed to be in contact with each other, but it just seemed strange jumping from one car to another and not sticking with the one company the entire time, especially with the little amount of communication that we received each time.
We had one hiccup where our driver was confused on the way back, but we called Anna and she took care of everything, even paying the driver for the extra time he drove us, so we didn’t have to deal with it at all. Overall, we had an incredible time, Anna was amazing and very helpful in all regards. I’d highly recommend them for your trip to the Serengeti!

Wonderful safari which we will never forget.
Our family of 5 just returned from the trip of a lifetime and are still searching for words to express our joy and gratitude. Thanks to Porcupine Expeditions we experienced unforgettable moments. Anna is very professional and what's more, she's a very nice and helpful person. Responses to inquiries were immediate. Refining the details to meet our requirements was no problem at all. From the moment we left the airport at Kilimanjaro, we were under the care of the team. We didn't have to worry about anything. Every problem like transfer, buying a local sim card or other purchases has been solved immediately. The welcome we received in Arusha made a huge impression on me. Anna, her daughter Juliann and the rest of the team welcomed us with a family dinner. The way Anna treats and welcomes her guests makes it possible to integrate with the locals and learn about their culture, including the basics of the language :). Safari guide Mike was amazing. He tried to make us have as many impressions as possible. He didn't give up until we achieved our goal of seeing the entire Big 5. We had a very helpful cook on our safari. Anna's daughter Juliann is an incredibly nice person who makes sure everything goes well. Even when we went on another trip to Zanzibar, Anna kept texting me to ask if everything was OK with us. I sincerely recommend Porcupine Expeditions if you need to organize a safari in Tanzania and what's more at a reasonable price. I travel a bit around the world but I have never experienced such warm hospitality.
Thank you Anna, Juliann and the Team.

Amazing experience and super super staff!
I didn't know Porcupine expeditions,
it was recommended to me by an Italian person but I must say that I couldn't find anything better.
I did the 5-day safari with them,
trekking Monte ol Donyo Lengai and the day in Moshi (materuni-coffee plantation-chemka )and it was amazing.
Anna is a force of nature, she helped me on my journey, welcomed and treated me as if I were her son.
His daughters Juliana and Kibena treated me like family!
Also their guide David, very knowledgeable and friendly, like all the staff!
I'm sure I'll come back to visit them.
Thanks again for everything! You are very special people and super staff!
