Awesome experience of Ruaha Nationalpark
The early morning drives in Ruaha were amazing. Together with my guide Rainelly I spotted besides many more lions, elefants and a leopard.
Best sight of a leopard ever.
I loved it.

Memorable One-day Safari with Outstanding Service
We recently did a one-day safari with Widman and his team, and overall, it was a great experience. From the start, Widman was very accommodating, making sure all our requests were met, which we really appreciated.
On the day of the trip, the team was professional and approachable, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. But what truly stood out was their genuine and friendly nature, which made the experience even more memorable. Widman’s decision to join us personally was a nice touch.
For a one-day safari, we were pleasantly surprised by how much we got to see. The team’s effort to make the most of our time was evident, and we left feeling like we’d experienced more than we expected.
We’d definitely recommend Widman and his team to anyone looking for a well-organized and enjoyable safari experience.

our guide was very kind and helpful
it took us about eight hours from dar es salaam to mikumi due to traffic. We left very early and this allowed us to visit the Masai village on the first day. on the second day we did the game drive which was very nice, the safari guide Stan was very good and explained many things to us about the animals (we saw hippos, giraffes, zebras, elephants, antelopes, lions, crocodiles, wildebeests, buffaloes) .
the resort was really nice and the food very good. I recommend a walk in the village. on the third day we left early as we had to leave for zanzibar and take the ship to dar es salaam, our guide helped us a lot in getting tickets and checking in. Fortunately, the driver was very careful and good.

uncomplicated and smooth
It was really easy to book the tour , especially with communication via WhatsApp. They helped us everytime so we did not feel lost at any point.
Maybe a little high priced but it was okay including flight and meal.

Attentive to needs & responsive to all concerns of group
Widman and his team worked to make our experience in Zanzibar/Tanzania as memorable as possible based on the circumstances presented to him. He and his team were extremely professional, attentive to our needs/concerns and adaptive to any last minute changes that occurred. I look forward to working with Widman/team when I visit Tanzania again.

Cost effective private safety tour with professional guide
Indeed my tour was handled by Sam's safari who owns bundas inside Ruaha national park. It is located at one of the best locations facing the great Ruaha river. They serve basic, tasty food. However, the bundas are old and lacking maintenance. There was no hot shower. One of the window cannot be closed. The guide was not a talkative person, yet he has great knowledge about animals, birds and plants. We could see lions trying to catch a buffalo, thanks for the guide.

Posted on Sep 18, 2024I think the Tour was not handled by Sam Safari but now it was high season we use to rend other other people car so we render the car from Sam Safari to use other people vehicle doesn't mean we are not responsible for you to care that was a way of assuring you trip.
But thanks for you feedback these it can be technical error next time we will put our labels if we use other people vehicle especially during high season like August.
Best regards

Widman was an attentive guide
Widman and his team were quite knowledgeable and accommodating about the happenings being attended. He went above and beyond., even things out of his control, to make things enjoyable for the group

A HUGE THANK YOU WIDMAN!
A hard-working, considerate, patient, friendly people pleaser best describes Widman tours. Even through difficult challenges, constant situational changes and 14 anxious woman, he continued to accommodate. no matter what his friendly positive personality kept 14 women above sea level :) Thank you Whitman Tours. Your
professionalism and patience was exceptional!
FAB
A great team that was very accommodating, kind and knowledgable
Widman and his team of guides and drivers were awesome. They accomodated our groups particular needs with smiles and diligence. If there was something we needed they did all within their power to make sure we obtained it. They were personable and shared much of the regions histories and answered our cultural questions well. Our excursions to safari in Mikumi, Stone Town, and to visit the Maarai tribe were beautiful opportunities that will leave lasting memories.

Good, we got what we booked. Just another lodge then is on the website but they are all good and nic
We had beautifull hot weather and saw a lot of animals. We really liked the combination boat safari and driving. We skipped the walking safari on our choice because we were to warm. They really looked for the animals in the park and took the time to let us see them.
Driving time from dar es salaam was 7 hours, that was a minor because the website said 4-5 hours. Our guide was an intern but was very nice. Sometimes a little diffucicult communicating in Englisch. Worth the money.
