Last summer we spent 11 days in Uganda and it was a unique experience. We really realized why Uganda is called the pearl of Africa. Uganda is so much more than the gorilla experience, which is truly amazing. Peter, our guide helped us discover this country with its main parks (Murchison, Budongo Forest, queen elizabeth, bwindi...), we were lucky enough to be alone with him in the car and he gave us a totally tailor-made tour, pending everything and making this trip we can never forget. Thanks to him we were able to see the richness of this country, experience nature in its purest form, discover its landscapes, animals and the kindness of its people. Wonderful tour guide, well organised and good value for money
My daughter and I booked the 10 day Best of Uganda tour. Our tour guide Tim was fantastic. His passion and knowledge of animals and birds was inspiring and we felt like we were travelling with a friend rather than a tour guide. Highlights included the game drives, Murchison Falls, chimps, river cruises to see hippos, birds and elephants and the walk with the Rhinos. The most incredible experience was undoubtedly the gorilla trek. We hired a porter to help us on the trek and it was the best decision we made as she helped us navigate the often difficult terrain. We were so close to our gorilla family, it was truly amazing. The accommodations were mostly very good with friendly and helpful staff. Another highlight was to see local life as we drove through the villages, and a visit to a local primary school at Ishasha. Tim, we can’t thank you enough for a wonderful trip.

Big Apes Africa Made our Dream Come True!
Wow, what an unforgettable experience with Big Apes Safari! This trip was everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we set foot in Uganda, it was pure magic.
