The trip of a lifetime!
We decided to spend our honeymoon in Uganda last summer and it was with no doubt our best trip. Uganda is an amazing country, it is pure nature, incredible landscapes and kind people. We were very lucky to have Peter as our tourist guide, he is very professional, always searching for more animals in the safaris (we showed the Big Five), explaining everything with detail, he is passionate about his country and he is able to transmit and show you the best of it and of course the experience with the gorillas is unbelievable!!. We did not have to think about any logistical issues because he had everything planned and very well organised. So we will never forget Uganda, and we highly recommend this trip and Peter as a tourist guide.

Very convenient and great service ☺️
Big 5 in a 3 day trip!
Me and my friends took a trip to Murchison Falls National park with Big Apes Africa. All the Big 5(Rhinos, Elephant, Buffalo, Lion & Leopard) were spotted by the end of second day.
The trip was perfectly arranged and our Safari guide Eric did a great job!

Pick from the review itself
Uganda is beautiful and authentic.
Traveling through Uganda in national parks of Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and communities within their vicinity exceeded our expectations!
Beyond the mountain gorillas, Uganda is well endowed in Big game and the people are lovely! Big Apes Africa did their part excellently and I had the best experience.
Excellent organization and my Safari guide was smart and articulate!

Excellent
Lifetime Adventure!
Our trip to Uganda is one we live to tell for the rest of our lives. From the time we contacted them through their website, we felt we were dealing with a professional.
Peter our contact person never took any suggestion from our side lightly and was quick to explain the price changes in different safari quotes.
It should have been troublesome for him to do more than 5 quotes as a proposal but he never seemed to hesitate while doing it and thankfully we were satisfied to find our lifetime adventure.
Every lodge was carefully picked according to our tastes.Where we felt we needed a midrange, he suggested and did the same where we opted for a budget to cut our expenses.
The guide knew his job and did it well and the wildlife was amazing not forgetting the people; so friendly!
We highly recommend Big Apes Africa for the lifetime adventure that was excellently organized!!

Great guides, great program, great experience!
The experience was very good! We started from Kigali, tracked gorillas in the Bwindi forest, then went for one night next to Bunyonyi lake, and then 2 days at Akagera. We prepared the travel with the guides on WhatsApp and arranged everything clearly. On Rwanda and Uganda the guides were always helpful and nice. The places we visited were very cool, but I also was surprised by the great quality of accommodation that was reserved for us! Thanks again for this unforgettable experience!

Exactly what I wanted from a trip in East Africa
We went for a 5 day trip in Uganda/Rwanda (we were 8 in the group).
We stayed 2 days in Uganda.
We went for Gorilla trekking and canoe on lake Bunyoni.
I highly recommend the Gorilla trekking.
The places we stayed at were beautiful and very clean.
The remaining of trip in Rwanda was very good as well. The Akagera game lodge is wonderful, and the Safaris are a must-do!
Peter and Eddy (our guides) were very nice and ran everything smoothly.
Although it takes time traveling between Uganda and Rwanda (I would say car travel is the minor negative point of the trip), the overall experience was fantastic.

Simply great!
Our trip in Uganda resulted fantastic with Big Apes and Peter, our guide. Everything was perfectly coordinated, we are asked about our prefferences for the activities, meals, he arranged us a place to have a shower before our long night flight back home... .We really felt very safe and relaxed knowing that Peter was with us and he was always trying to please us, doing his best so that we could spot as many animals as possible, take the best pictures...He has demonstrated at all times being a great professional. We have spent many hours together travelling, at the game drives and we had very interesting conversations. I would definitely recommend for an tour in Uganda.

Go with the Flow - simply amazing
We only had a short window of three days for a wonderful trip in north Rwanda and western Uganda. Peter was an amazing guide. Creating a flow for our small group of five with incredible experiences to spend time with a family of 17 mountain Gorilla, deeply moving and renewing my commitment for conservation and environmental stewardship. Swimming at sunset in lake bonyonyi was the dot on the “i”. I’ll definitely come back for a much longer trip with Peter.
