Best Kilimanjaro team
My mother dream became true with Alphine chat adventures. We choose Marangu route 6 days. The best guides perfectly prepared us for success peak. They are really professional, friendly. Everyday they informed next stage of the trek and checked our health and condition. The cook made excellent foods, the porters were kind and warmful. What can I say about Alpine Chat! Communication right out of the gate was excellent. Erick personalized our trip to fit the time, budget and experience we were looking for. The 3 day, 2 night trip to Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti exceeded any expectations we might have had. John lead our tour and the details and thoughtfulness was fueled by his warmth and passion for bringing a world class experience to his clients. Lunch with the hippos, taking the road less traveled and not getting caught up in a zoo of safari jeeps were two examples. We have done Tarangiri and Ngorongoro safari trips with Alpine chat and it has been amazing, lifelong memory trip. From picking up at the airport, great lodges for resting, amazing guide who was vast well of information and had answer to every question we had to brilliant experiwnce in both parks, just every step has been trully great. We have seen big five, experienced the life in Tanzania. We have also been reminded gmjust how important it is to connect with nature. If you ever think of Safari or just to explore Tanzania, i would strongly suggest to go with Erick and Alpine Chat!!

This was one of the best weeks of my life! The Alpine Chat crew was amazing - they picked us up from the airport and arranged lodging on either end of the trip for us. The guides, porters, and cook on the trip were all top notch - entertaining, fun, supportive, and helped make the experience so incredible. I would 100% recommend alpine chat to anyone looking to hike Kili with an experienced and great crew.
Very professional service of a heartwarming team
I was a woman solo traveler and went on this trip for my 50th birthday. I am a sportif person but not used to high altitude so I looked for the best route and was recomened Lemosho 8 days . I found operators on internet and received information from friends but than I choose Alpine Chat as dates were ok and from the very first day the comunication and service of Eric was excellent and very helpful. Very detailed, quick answers to questions and always super friendly. He picked me up on arrival and brought me to the lodge which is also beautiful with efficient staff. The team/ my team for the trip was outstanding - after nothing it felt like familiy - and even if I was alone it never felt like this. They are entertaining, caring and worked very hard to make this dream come true. I am so happy they pushed me every day and finally up to the top. It was not easy for me but I made it. A big thank you. Beside - dont worry about food - it is amazing. If you doubt to choose one of the multiple operators - check with these guys. Highly recomendable.

Once in a lifetime experience you'll NEVER forget!
We had a once in a lifetime experience going on safari with Alpine Chat! We enjoyed our tour guide Peter and his laidback, enthusiastic, flexible, and patient vibes. The owner (Erick) was also amazing and an excellent communicator. The tour company made us feel like valued customers and friends--they even gave us authentic and memorable gifts at the end of our stay. On our trip we saw all big five animals in four days and overall the trip did not feel rushed. We chose Alpine Chat based on the company being small and all local Tanzanians--if we are going to that country we want to support the local economy and people. We felt very safe and taken care of the entire trip. Also, I did not like the lodge on the final night (Rhino lodge) and wish I would have changed the accommodation, which definitely seemed like an option if you don't like what is offered in the initial package (you may pay more, but worth it to get exactly what you want). Erick worked hard to tailor our trip exactly to our needs and desires. We highly recommend booking your safari with Alpine Chat. My only regret is not adding an additional day in the Serengeti to see the migration.
