We got exactly what we wanted!
Whole experience from booking the trip to the last transport went great!
We booked 4 night safari that was tailored to our wants, with transportations and accommodations in the safari. Safari was in one of the smaller parks in Kenya, Lake Nakuru National Park. We knew that with dealing with wild animals there always is a chance that sightings are slim, but our guide was able to spot plenty of wildlife for us to see and our experience was top-notch from start to finish.
Big thanks to Yvonne, who was patient and knowledgeable answering my million and one questions and making our safari possible, and to Dan our expert guide who took great care of us during our safari.

Handled our travel logistics meticulously!
We, a group of 5 recently retired women and two kids put our trust in the hands of Mr. John, the Safari Director of BTPKS to show us sights of incredible of Kenya, and he did not disappoint us. From receiving us from the airport, arranging our stay in beautiful resorts, to making sure that we were served a few Indian dishes for dinner…he managed our entire travel logistics meticulously.
Our guides, Mr. Anthony and Mr. Dan were awesome. They drove us tirelessly through rugged mountain terrains and endless savannahs to see wild animals in their habitat and answered our questions about the regional flora and fauna. For me, it was a trip of a lifetime! I highly recommend BTPKS for your next safari adventure!

Knowledgeable and engaging.
Good organization, with Brenda you cant get bored! Good guidance on sites, history and expectations. The driver (I think Dan) knew his business well, and guided us to the wild animal sites with ease.
We had a 5 days safaris with : 2 days at Eco Camp (Maasai experience), 2 days at Amboseli and 1 day in Tsavo West. My group and I enjoyed it. PS....the parks are quite different to each other with each offering a different experience!
I would recommend Beyond the Plains Kenya Safaris anytime!!

Customer friendly experience
I recently had an incredible four-day safari experience that I will never forget. I traveled to the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, known for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Here's a brief account of my adventure:
Day 1: Arrival and Evening Game Drive
Upon arriving at the Mara airstrip, I was greeted by my knowledgeable guide who would accompany me throughout the safari. We wasted no time and embarked on an evening game drive. As the sun began to set, the wildlife became more active. We spotted herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and zebras grazing peacefully in the golden savannah. The highlight of the day was witnessing a pride of lions lazing under a tree, their majestic presence leaving me in awe.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive
We started the day early to make the most of our time exploring the vast wilderness. The Maasai Mara is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration, and I was lucky to witness this incredible spectacle. Thousands of wildebeests, accompanied by zebras and other herbivores, moved in a synchronized rhythm across the plains, creating an unforgettable sight. The predators, such as lions and cheetahs, stealthily followed the herds, making strategic attempts to catch their prey.
Day 3: Cultural Interaction and Nature Walk
To experience the rich Maasai culture, I visited a local Maasai village. The villagers warmly welcomed me, showcasing their traditional dances and rituals. I had the opportunity to interact with the Maasai people, learning about their lifestyle, traditions, and their deep connection with the land and wildlife. Later in the day, I went on a guided nature walk, accompanied by a Maasai guide who shared fascinating insights about the flora and fauna of the region.
Day 4: Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Safari and Departure
On my final day, I embarked on a thrilling sunrise hot air balloon safari. As we gently ascended into the sky, the vastness of the Maasai Mara unfolded beneath us, bathed in the soft morning light. From above, I had an incredible panoramic view of the sprawling plains, spotting herds of wildebeests, elephants, and other animals below. It was a magical experience, and we ended the safari with a champagne breakfast in the bush, celebrating the amazing adventure.
Although my four-day safari came to an end, the memories I made will stay with me forever. It was an immersive journey into the heart of the African wilderness, witnessing the beauty and rawness of nature and experiencing the rich culture of the Maasai people. I left with a renewed appreciation for the incredible diversity of life on our planet and a deep longing to return to the wild once again.

Worth Every Dollar
I've done Safaris before but this one to the Masai Mara has been the best of them all. My daughters (7 and 4) thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I loved how they enquired on our specific requests and needs for the trip and delivered to that and more. Everything was actually tailormade in a way that we got more bang for our buck from the choice of accommodation to meals and the trip activities. Definitely one of the best investments we've made for a safari. The entire team starting right from the admin Brenda went over and above their obligations to create memorable experiences for us.
The highlight of our trip was our guide Duncan who was well-versed with the different bird, animal and plant species. We captured over 150 bird species and 4 of the big 5 animals. Thankfully we caught some rare pics of the elusive leopard :-).
Thanks to the entire Beyond The Plains Kenya Safaris team! I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family coming to Kenya. Do not hesitate to book with them.
