Excellent Overall Experience
5/5

We had a fantastic experience with Beyond the Plains. John had curated a good itinerary for us .We covered Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara and Nairobi. The best experience was of course Masai Mara where we had an adventurous game drive. One point to emphasise is the stay at the Sopa properties at Naivasha and Masai Mara. We had booked a full board package and food was excellent in all the properties. The picnic lunch experience was also very good.
Our Guide/Driver Dan was very informative and ensured our safety and comfort throughout the trip.Overall a very beautiful experience.

Perfect trip with reliable company.

Beyond The Plains were very quick in replying to our inquiry. They offered an exciting itinerary for the Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru. We were travelling as a family, and they took this into account and arranged for activities that were great for all. We all enjoyed the safari a lot. I have been on several safaris and this was indeed one of the best! We saw all Big 5 and many more animals. Accommodation and food were great. This was a wonderful time. We even celebrated a birthday on the first day, and Beyond the Plains organised a surprise cake and flowers for the birthday girl! Everything worked smooth, and the team was very responsive and communicative. Highly recommended!

John and Dorah are excellent. They answered my questions. I had to deposit only 30% to reserve ( some operators take the full amount) using credit card. At Amboseli, they had booked us in Amboseli Sopa lodge. Excellent place to stay with great food. I had to call on John again, since the company which I was working with, to take us to Naivasha lake backed off at 5 pm previous day. John not only gave an excellent quote, but arranged everything in 1-2h. Though it was a day trip, he had arranged for lunch at Naivasha Sopa lodge. 2 batches from our group used his services for Nairobi city tour. All in all happy with these tours. Thanking John and Dorah for their hard work and wishing them well.

Beyond the Plains is a wonderful tour company. My family and I went on an African safari to Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar. The tour company provided us with the best itinerary, excellent accommodation, and a knowledgeable tour guide. Also, their prices are unbeatable. John, the CEO of the tour company, assisted us with everything.

Fantastic Kenya Safari Trip
5/5

Hi All,
I'm from Kolkata (India) and I'm here to share my trip experience with you all. The complete safari trip has been a wonderful experience for us. With Mr. Ben being our guide, everyday of our trip has been an exceptional great experience. Our trip was from 17th July till 26th July. We have even witnessed wildebeest migration in Mara River and that was absolutely beyond our imagination!! Although we couldn't witnessed any leopard apart from other nocturnal animals in Soysambu Conservancy, but we have witnessed it in Masai Mara National Reserve. We were also lucky to witness the 'Chander Pahar' that is 'The Mountain of the Moon' which is a dream for all the Bengalis as we have novel with the same title written by renowned poet Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay (Mt. Kilimanjaro). Including Nairobi National Park, Amboseli National Park & Masai Mara we got to witness all the Big5s. We have never been so close to Giraffes at Giraffe Center. The crescent island walk after the boat ride at Naivasha Lake has been another magical experience where we got to witness the herbivores walking by our side on their own and the taste of wild prickly pears was amazing👍. The bicycling ride to Hell's Gate National Park for stretch of more than 8kms has been another wonderful experience as we get to know about the Pride Rock where Lion King has been filmed! & also Fischer's Point! A water pit in Amboseli as big as a lake full of flamingos has been a great sight! We got a welcome from a Lion King at Lake Nakuru National Park and a warm welcome from Ferozki (Elephant) in Amboseli. Overall experience was great just that since the booking was done within the same month our preferred choices of accomodations was not available apart from one (Kibo Safari Camp @Amboseli). Mr. John has been a wonderful helpful person all along the trip so that we do not miss out on any.
I would have visited David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust as well but it got missed just for a little miscommunication from the tour agent side even after my confirmation on time.

Very nicely planned covering Naivasha also. Last night in Nairobi was also a pleasure.
5/5

Value for money, nicely planned tour covering Naivasha also. The only problem was the last 60-70 km road which was very bad.
Jungle Safari was good, we saw lots of animals.
