Warm and friendly service
5/5

My partner and I went on a safari tour with Crimson Brooke. We went to Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and the Masai mara. We completed the tour in about 5 days. Ruben was our tour guide and he is very conscientious and professional.
Amos and Betty make significant efforts to make you feel relaxed and like Kenya is your home country.
I would definitely use Crimson Brooke in the future. It was a fantastic experience.

Crimson Brooke went out of their way to make us feel at ease from the moment we met them. Their care was exceptional and the organization of the safari was just magnificent. Their service is very good and the value for money is very good.

Crimson Brooke Safaris go above and beyond to provide their clients the experience they are seeking
5/5

From the first communications with Crimson Brookes Safaris we knew we had made the right choice. They are extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a tailor made tour which ticked all of our desires, for a competitive price.
We appreciate how Betty and Amos did everything in person, from the warm welcome at the airport, to the thoughtful items in the gift bags and check in’s along the tour to make sure everything was going as planned. It was reassuring to know they were just a phone call away if needed.
The accommodations were beyond our expectations and we especially enjoyed the luxury tented camp! The perfect location to base ourselves.
We can not recommend Crimson Brooke enough, and are truly grateful for the memories this trip has provided us. We look forward to our next adventure with them!

Really wonderful experience! Absolutely recommend it and hope to repeat it with family!!!
5/5

The service, value for money, communications, reliability, and everything else about the time spent with Crimson Brooke Safaris was great! I recommend it to everyone.
I came across Crimson Brooke Safaris and Beatrice Okumu thanks to my friend in Nairobi. I was travelling to Nairobi with a friend when one of our common friends recommended and infact booked us for a day with Beatrice and her team. I didn't know what to expect but was absolutely impressed by their preparedness, timeliness, and professionalism. They came with an absolutely top class pick up vehicle at the airport. From that point onwards, the team stayed with us through the day for an absolutely memorable safari experience, the shopping, food, and every other selection through the day was flexible but A-level. We saw all the animals that there are to see at the Nairobi national park -- Zebras, Giraffes, Lions, Ostriches etc -- and had the best meal in Nairobi, explored the market, shopped around, and did some local sightseeing. We didn't have to worry about planning and all key aspects like safety, economics, and other aspects were addressed by the team. If you're planning -- with family, friends or alone -- will totally recommend it!!

Perfect Safari Experience
5/5

We booked our family safari with Crimson Brooke Safaris - and it was the best decision we could have made. We were quite particular about what we wanted in our safari experience and the communication from Crimson Brooke was absolutely second to none despite our constant and frequent questions or requested changes - nothing was a hassle to them at all.

All elements of the Safari were first class - from the pickup at our hotel in Nairobi to the drop off, everything was perfect. Our accomodation was brilliantly unqiue and a special mention must go to our driver Reuben who navigated the Masai Mara like an expert, consistently spotting unqiue wildlife and having us on the scene before any other parties - we can't say enough great things.

This was one the best experiences we have had and when we come back next time we will have absolutely no hesitation reaching out to Amos and Betty at Crimson Brooke Safari's to do it all again - their care and attention to detail in ensuring our satisifcation with every facet of the safari was absolutely first class.

Amazing African Safari - Exceptional Guide - Excellent arrangements
5/5

We had a great time visiting Kenya and experiencing the great African safari. We visited Amboselli NP, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. Amos & Betty picked some excellent resorts for us in all three locations as well as in Nairobi. Rueben, our safari guide and driver was exceptional - his breadth of experience and wide knowledge of Africa, the widlife, the culture, the people - this was the best part of the trip. The highlight of the trip is the Masai Mara NP. The Mara Maisha camp was the highlight of the trip - an exceptional property with caring staff and excellent food and facilities.

Africa is bucket level stuff. Do not miss it. And trust Amos and Betty to put together an exceptional trip and arrangements for you.

People centric individuals who are amiable, efficient and most importantly, trustworthy!
5/5

The decision to visit Kenya was a rather spontaneous one. My wife and I got married last year and we decided to 'charter unknown territories', so to speak.

Raji (my wife) stumbled upon Crimson Brook Safaris whilst browsing. The reviews were great, especially for a relatively new and comparatively smaller tour company.

Right off the bat, communication was seamless and timely. Amos and Betty clearly know how to engage potential clients and always made themselves available based on our schedule. We only had to decide on the duration and cost; the good folks over at CBS worked their magic and tailored an itinerary accordingly!

We were greeted by them and Ruben (our driver) the moment we stepped out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a hefty breakfast (note: don't miss out on Kenyan Tea, it's amazing!), Amos briefed us on our travel arrangements. The first day was all about recuperating after our long flights but we managed to squeeze visits to the Giraffe Centre (where you feed them and get a free exfoliation in return) and the National Museum of Kenya.

Our week long trip was as follows:

Day 1 - Nairobi. Great climate (was between 14-18 C), good selection of local and global cuisine. I'd go so far to say Kenya is the 'jewel of East Africa'

Day 2 - 3 - Amboseli. First game drive with Ruben. Amboseli is famous for elephants and for a good reason. With the majestic Kilimanjaro for a backdrop, almost every click is award worthy. Lions, zebras, hyenas, ducks, hippos.............(the list goes on)

Day 3 - 4 - Lake Naivasha. The boat trip to Crescent Island was breathtaking. We saw schools of hippos, birds and other wildlife. I especially enjoyed the walking safari at the island, a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals. Work up a sweat by cycling around Hell's Gate and spots giraffes, baboons and warthogs along the way!

Day 5 - 6 - Maasai Maara. Don't miss out on visiting the Maasai Village (an additional USD 25 per person) on your way to the park. The Maara Reserve was simply outstanding, the best place to be at during the Great Migration. We saw so many animals but the lions captivated us the most. Ruben tirelessly drove around and was very insistent on getting us to see the 'Big 5' but alas, we had to settle for the 'Big 4' instead since leopards are super elusive.

Day 7 - Quick drive to Nairobi. Amos and Betty met us for lunch and I tasted the best crab soup I've ever had in 31 years of my existence. Exchanged our goodbyes and boarded our flight back home.

Overall, CBS made every attempt to make this the most memorable vacation I've been on. We ditched the typical beaches and decided to embrace nature in its rawest form for our honeymoon. Having said that, I'd recommend a trip down to Mombasa if you have the time just to relax, unwind and try out some local fare.

Communication: Great, no room for improvement. Amos and Betty are very efficient.

Service: Service above self. We did not have to compromise at all throughout the journey. Special shoutout to Ruben. This man deserves an award for his patience, knowledge and candour. He made good use of our limited time and taught us some Swahili along the way. Asante, Ruben.

Value for Money: CBS is a luxury safari provider so prices do reflect that aspect. Having said that, I definitely got more than my money's worth. Amos and Betty are quite particular about providing platinum standard of service. No disappointments, only good memories.

Reliability: Very. very reliable. From start to finish. From dusk till dawn.

All in all, a great experience which we would cherish for a life time!

Amazing hospitality. Attention to details
5/5

We traveled to Kenya in June of 2023. Before starting travel they established a WhatsApp group which helped in communicating easily. Their responses to our questions were pretty fast too. The itinerary and hotels were tailored to our needs and our input was sought. All the places we stayed were good but the one in Maasai Mara was the best in terms of comfort, service, food options. Our tour guide and driver was very pleasant, knowledgeable and courteous. He is a treasure trove of information about anything in Kenya whether it was about the animals, their habits, birds, Kenya’s geography, economy, history! Beatrice and Amos gave us beautiful gifts that came in handy during the travel. They also arranged for a dongle in the vehicle so we had seamless internet access everywhere. Overall we had an amazing time in this fabulous country and our stay was made memorable by the Crimson Brooke guys with their hospitality, reliability and superb service! Would recommend them whole heartedly!

Efficient & friendly safari tours
4/5

Crimson Brooke Safaris were very responsive from the beginning. We had quotes from 6 different safari operators, and we chose this one because they look more professional than the rest. We even went for a final lunch with them at a very nice restaurant, which they covered.
The safari itself was great! We saw most of the animals we were looking for, and Sammy (our guide) was very good. He made a lot of effort to take us to new activities and different spots to see the wildlife at Masai and Amboselli.
The only thing I didn't like much is that most of the time we felt like we were expected to spend lots of money at curio shops, extra activities and tips. Everyone was looking for us to spend more money. We had to say no to extra activities a few times because it was very tight in time and we like to also enjoy taking time and rest.
I recommend to fellow travelers to only stop at 1 curio shop on your way back, we stopped at least in 4 different curio shops and lost a lot of time there. Also do not always say yes to extra activities (not included in the original program), it is probably a commission led recommendation.
Finally, do your research, we paid quite some money to stay outside the reserves and it is possible to stay inside the reserve, this option was never given to us.
