An unforgettable safari with Baraka and Timon Safaris – we’ll gladly return!
We were fortunate to experience another safari with Baraka from Timons Safaris in September 2024 – this time in the breathtaking Northern Serengeti, and it was simply unforgettable! Baraka makes every safari special. Not only does he know the animals and their habitats, but he also has a knack for finding those hidden, unique places and magical moments – like the incredible Great Migration, which we were able to witness twice. Many travelers miss such highlights, but Baraka ensures his guests experience these unforgettable moments.
What truly sets Baraka apart is his warm and attentive nature. He goes above and beyond to accommodate all our wishes, planned the entire trip perfectly, and selected a wonderful lodge for us. With his extensive network of lodges and years of experience, he provided us with the best possible safari experience. It’s the little gestures that make him an outstanding guide: he regularly checks with other guides to stay updated on animal sightings and proactively assists if another guide has a breakdown – something not many of his fellow guides do. With over 10 years of experience, Baraka is not only an excellent driver, navigating all terrains with ease, but also a thoughtful companion who always ensures his guests feel comfortable.
Thanks to Baraka, our journey became an unforgettable experience. We are already looking forward to our next adventure with him, and we wholeheartedly recommend Baraka and Timons Safaris to anyone seeking an authentic and unique safari experience.

Experience, organization and punctuality made us eager to embark on this adventure.
The way in which the entire experience is presented to you, pictures, videos and suggestions from other customers make you want to be there as soon as possible. Comparing with other operators, the quality-price ratio was very good, we were prepared for everything that was to come, the places where we stayed and their staff, the safari car, we had access to the Internet throughout the safari, cold drinks, lunch was a varied and very tasty one, the conditions created were beyond expectations.
The experience was an honorable one as it was presented to us. Our guide Barack was the one you definitely need by your side when you start this adventure, his vast experience and the passion he exuded answered all our curiosities, the way he organized the whole experience made us wake up every morning eager to start the journey.
