exhilaration, discovery, and addiction
Rose gave us exactly what we wanted - mobile camping with an expert guide whose enthusiasm and knowledge were unbounded. We were certain we did not want to share " camp" guides with guests who wanted luxury or service : it was 100% about being in the wilderness and getting close to animals and birds and learning about their behaviour. We had the most thrilling time and loved every moment: amazing game drives, a fabulous guide to ourselves, and the joy of camping in the wild ( with a charming team to look after us). We thought this was our last safari but it is just too addictive......
Marvelous trip
Great from start to finish. The Mara was beyond expectation. Amazing numbers and variety of wildlife - the highlight was catching the migration when it had looked futile - the main herd was not cooperating and our guides from Offbeat moved to a spot where we had an exclusive showing as they crossed the river)! The two camps were just right for what we wanted - warm, attentive, great guides and gave us an authentic experience that was exactly what we were looking for. I can't thank you enough. The trip could not have been easier to set up on my end and delivered more perfectly. All travel agents should be so good!

excellence in service
for the second time, rose hipwood managed to put together at short notice an amazing holiday for the whole family. from the time we arrived in Kenya to the time we left it was clockwork efficiency all the way. her choice of 2 lodges - sasaab in samburu and angama in the Maasai mara exceeded expectations. apart from the lodge staff which papered us so well, the game experience was awesome - with crocodiles snapping at the heels of zebras crossing the masai river, the wildebeest crossings and herds of the animals scattering from a charging lion. hiccups like a cancelled international flight (!) posed no issue with the luxury safari company handling it with aplomb. highly highly recommended.

The perfectly planned 60th birthday adventure.
I can't say enough good things about the trip Rose put together for me. It exceeded my expectations in so many ways.
The camps, the guides, the sites, the food all outstanding.
The ladies of Dunia Camp threw me a birthday party that brought me to tears. Singing and dancing, drums and grass skirts, even hand made cards and speeches.
It was very special and I can't wait to return.
All transfers seamless all accommodations lovely (with the possible exception of no elevator at the Zanzibar Palace).
You made the impossible seem effortless. When I thought I had no hope of replacing my canceled trip they did it all to perfection in less than a month.

Rose did an amazing job to deliver an itinerary that way surpassed our expectations. Accommodation...service...all just blew us away. In fact, we were so pleased, we wrote to Rose to tell her what a great job she had done...even before our trip ended, and to sound her out that we will be in touch with her shortly...to book our next safari. If we had to find a shortcoming, we would have to say that we ate and drank more than we should have, because we were so spoilt for choice. Thanks Rose ! We have since recommended you to our friends.
Unbeatable honeymoon
I honestly can't think of any way in which Rose and her team could have laid on a better honeymoon for my wife and me. Not only was she able to recommend spectacular locations that suited us perfectly, based on clearly outstanding and broad knowledge of the possible options, but she was also incredibly attentive, always getting back to our queries - simple and complex - within hours, including on weekends.

fantastic trip
Rose worked hard within a very short time-frame and at short notice to compile a fantastic Kenyan experience, with a bit of R&R in the Seychelles tacked-on. Excellent organisation with seamless travel connections at every point, delightful people all along the way, beautiful locations and hospitality. i Just have to work a bit harder to afford to take the family again-thanks Rose!

(High) Expectations Exceeded!
Just returned from a safari in Kenya and Tanzania with my 9 year-old daughter. Rose planned the perfect itinerary, found us the perfect lodges and camps, and booked the most amazing private guide for us - all of which combined made for a fantastic trip. I've been on quite a few safaris but this was the first with my child, and we brought along a friend who was also on her first safari, so I wanted it to be really special. Rose went above and beyond to make sure it all came together and it did. Was super impressed, especially, by the "Wild Child" program and kid-friendly staff at Kichwa Tembo (if you have a child - go there!) and the elegance, beauty, and level or service at Entamanu Ngorongoro. All the details were well organized, and communication was excellent at all times. Having a pro guide with us all the way through was the best - and meant that we always had our own private game drives and could be on whatever schedule and pace that worked best for us. I can't imagine ever booking a group safari again, now that I know the level of service available from Rose! To Rose and the team at Luxury Safari Company: thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Luxury Safari Company Exceeds Expectations!
This summer my family took a safari to South Africa and Zambia to celebrate grandma's 70th and as well as other family milestones! Rose at Luxury Safari company planned and coordinated the entire ten day trip with me for our group of five! She was patient and thoughtful as we spoke. I had A LOT of questions! She found us amazing lodges that were within our budget, but we're truly luxurious! All of our transfers were planned and every time we changed location or arrived somewhere new, there was a host waiting for us! Our group ranged from 6years old to 76 years old. Rose kept this in mind and found us amazing family oriented lodges that catered to little ones with activities and kiddo menus!
Each of the three lodges we stayed at was unique and different and delighted us with surprises and truly pampering experiences! We saw a ton of animals at all three locations including SA's big five!
Trip of a lifetime! We highly recommend The Luxury Safari Company! C

Dream come true! Never could I have imagined there were lodges offering such luxury in "the bush". And LSC was able to not only direct us to such locations but cover every detail. Ground transport always on time. Reservations always accurate. Staff courteous and helpful. A+ across the board...
