Great safari, highly recommended
5/5

We went on a four day safari to Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha and it was amazing. We got to go on a full day safari with the car, boat safari and walking safari. Our guide knew very well what he was doing and was always open to make our trip better. He even offered us a walking safari on Hells, gate NP which was not even in our initial plan. Come visit Kenya with Marurumi Safaris!

Perfect 8-day Safari with Marurumi Safaris & our guide Jasan.
5/5

Jasan's kindness, knowledge, patience and attentiveness to our requests were outstanding. His professionalism and experience as both a driver and guide made our journey unforgettable.
Jasan was highly considerate of our comfort and needs, going above and beyond to fulfill our wishes, such as visiting a church and observing specific birds. He had extensive knowledge of birds, wildlife, and kenya in general. We felt completely safe and at ease throughout the safari. As a driver, Jasan demonstrated great skill, making our travels smooth and enjoyable. His approach perfectly matched our Scandinavian sensibilities and overall, Jasan provided a top-notch safari experience.

The communication with the company was excellent, with quick and responsive interactions that ensured all our queries were promptly addressed.

The trip itinerary, drives and payment was exactly as arranged with Marurumi Safaris. We opted for a budget safari with lodges outside of the park and we’re overall satisfied with the accommodation, staff and food. Marurumi were flexible and were happy to let us arrange two extra days in Naivasha with upgraded accommodation of our choice.

We highly recommend Marurumi Safaris for a well-planned and personalised safari adventure.

Simply amazing. From reception to the airport, throughout the safari, sensational lodges even in the budget package. My family and I are grateful for everything that was done. Already recommended to friends.

A great way to experience the safari in Kenya
5/5

I had a great experience with Marurumi. Contacting them was easy, they replayed super fast and there were no hidden fees or surprises. They were also flexible with additional request, such as picking us up at our hotel e.t.c
The program included 4 different parks, which were unique in their own way. Each was fascinating with their different biome and landscape.
If you want to see a lot of animals, the Big five, this is the way to go.
Our guide, David was the star. He was great at finding animals and explaining things. I really enjoyed travelling and talking to him .
Thank you David and the whole Marurumi team

Life changing experience
5/5

we had an absolutely wonderful safari. Special thanks to our guide Robie. He always made sure that we lacked nothing. We saw so many animals. I don't even know where to start. Already on our very first game drive we were lucky enough to see some lionesses with their babies. We saw 4 of the big five - absolutely fantastic. On our second game drive we saw a whole pride of lions consisting of at least 15 lions. We had a really great time. We also liked the lodges we stayed in, especially Mtito Mara Camp.

Always helpful and making sure we are satisfied.

Marurumi Safaris will do everything to give you an amazing and a comforting stay.

We booked a seven day safari through all of Kenya.
Saw the Big Five, herds of all different animals, lions and hyenas with their prey, as well as the Masai village and the big city of Nairobi.

The main reason for our great adventure was our Guide Robinson.
Very commited, always caring and making sure we are happy and safe.
He was always in a great mood even after a 6 hours car ride.
Sometimes traffic can really slow down your journey to the next destination.
When that happened we switched the plans to still be able to go for a walking safari and fun boat ride.
Communication was good and clear. I would recommend getting the number of your driver at the beginning of the itineary to make sure you can contact him if needed.

The car was spacious and Robinson made sure it was clean every single morning.
Lots of drinking water is available so there is no need to worry.

On our last day Robinson surprised us once again when he not just drove us 5 hours to Nairobi, but also spend the rest of the day with us at Sarit Mall and then drove us to the airport at 10:30 PM so we don't have to be bored at the airport for our late night flight.

So all in all, we had an amazing week with a great guide and a supportive tour operator.

Excellent communication with the tour operator.
5/5

My recent Kenyan safari trip, spanning Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara, was a journey of incredible highs and a few unexpected lows, all guided by the capable David.

Firstly, let's celebrate the highs. David's expertise and passion for Kenyan wildlife and landscapes were second to none. His ability to spot and explain the behavior of animals was remarkable. Amboseli's iconic elephants, Lake Nakuru's rhinos, and the majestic wildlife of the Masai Mara all came to life under his guidance.

The accommodations in most locations were comfortable and immersed us in the beauty of the surroundings. However, Aa Lodge in Amboseli was a disappointment due to cleanliness issues, which marred an otherwise fantastic experience. It's crucial that such places maintain their standards to provide a memorable stay.

Unfortunately, the experience at Aa Lodge Masai Mara took another turn for the worse during payment. Their reluctance to accept card payments and the refusal to provide change when we paid in cash left us frustrated. Such issues can significantly affect the overall impression of a trip.

Despite these hiccups, David's dedication to responsible tourism and conservation shone through. He emphasized the importance of supporting local communities and protecting Kenya's natural treasures, which left a positive impact on our journey.

In conclusion, the Kenyan safari trip with David was a mix of breathtaking wildlife encounters, cultural enrichment, and a few bumps along the way. While the accommodations in Amboseli and the payment experience in Masai Mara left room for improvement, David's exceptional guidance and the beauty of Kenya's wilderness made it a memorable adventure overall.
