Everything you'd imagine and more
Booked a 7 day Kenya safari. Amboseli. Lake Navaisha, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara.
My guide, Joseph, was incredible. It was like going on a Safari with a friend. Unfortunately there was unforseen circumstances and I had to switch guides.
I was worried about this, but Marurumi and Joseph took care of everything and I didn't miss a beat.
Couldn't recommend them enough.

James is very committed to providing the best safari experience to his clients!
We were very happy with James and his team for the Safari experience we had at the Ol Pejeta. James was able to spot the animals from miles away and we even witnessed a pride of lions taking down a water buffalo in a water hole while on his tour. We were super pleased with his tour and would highly recommend James and his company!

Knowledge, Drive, Fun, a great experience in Kenya at a good value!
Simply the best we could've expected. James and his company deliver! James was able to predict animal movements and several times he was able to put us in much better angles than the rest of the pack. We appreciated his knowledge of the species and about Kenya. We visited Nakuru, Mara and Amboseli and had many beautiful wildlife sightings. James went above and beyond to make our safari a success. We left Kenya with a sense of accomplishment as photographers and missing James...We will definitely will call on Marurumi for our next safari without question.

Strongly recommended, excellent experience!
I strongly recommend this company if you are looking for a safari in Kenya. This is the second safari that I do and this tour operator is excelent.
Since the first second that I contacted the touroperator, I received the quotation very fast.
James arranged our safari in the way we like it in a very efficient way, choosing the Parks to visit, the train to Mombassa...
The best value for money that you can find.
The van and the accomodation were perfect. The meals were buffet with many options avalailable and the Lunch boxes to optimize the time at the safari were more than OK. Our driver, Robie is learning Spanish and he was very nice, realiable and willing to provide us an excellent experience. The driver drives very well, he tries to find the best spot to see the animals close, he is with a walkie to know if there are animals close and ask the cars to not miss anything.
If you are looking for a safari, contact Marurumi and you will have a great experience.

excellent tour
I had a private tour with James and it was the trip of a lifetime. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and organized. He really knew how to position us to see as much as was available, and we never got stuck in the mud even when everyone around us was. He was reliable, trustworthy, and in good spirits every day.

If only I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. What a memorable safari!
We went on an 8-day safari with Marurumi visiting Amboseli, Ol Pejeeta, Lake Naivasha, Masaai Mara and Lake Nakuru. From quotation stage up to driving us back to the last hotel we felt taken care of. Our driver David was very polite and caring with us, and this was particularly important to us as we were travelling with a 3-year old. We were lucky to see all the Big 5 along the way and David made sure my husband always got the best photographic shots. I highly recommend Marurumi Safaris for a safari and would definitely use them again for another vacation.

David G. was very kind and careful with us.
We were two people for 3 days. We loved the experience, we saw many animals, the driver, David, was attentive to us at all times and made an effort to ensure that we saw as much as possible. If we did it again, we would definitely repeat it with the company.

Excellent communication with the tour operator.
My recent Kenyan safari trip, spanning Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara, was a journey of incredible highs and a few unexpected lows, all guided by the capable David.
Firstly, let's celebrate the highs. David's expertise and passion for Kenyan wildlife and landscapes were second to none. His ability to spot and explain the behavior of animals was remarkable. Amboseli's iconic elephants, Lake Nakuru's rhinos, and the majestic wildlife of the Masai Mara all came to life under his guidance.
The accommodations in most locations were comfortable and immersed us in the beauty of the surroundings. However, Aa Lodge in Amboseli was a disappointment due to cleanliness issues, which marred an otherwise fantastic experience. It's crucial that such places maintain their standards to provide a memorable stay.
Unfortunately, the experience at Aa Lodge Masai Mara took another turn for the worse during payment. Their reluctance to accept card payments and the refusal to provide change when we paid in cash left us frustrated. Such issues can significantly affect the overall impression of a trip.
Despite these hiccups, David's dedication to responsible tourism and conservation shone through. He emphasized the importance of supporting local communities and protecting Kenya's natural treasures, which left a positive impact on our journey.
In conclusion, the Kenyan safari trip with David was a mix of breathtaking wildlife encounters, cultural enrichment, and a few bumps along the way. While the accommodations in Amboseli and the payment experience in Masai Mara left room for improvement, David's exceptional guidance and the beauty of Kenya's wilderness made it a memorable adventure overall.
