Great wildlife, Great Service!
We went to the Chobe National Park in March this year and joined Kalahari Tours on a 2 night mobile safari.
Nothing beats camping out in the true wilderness of Botswana, and Kalahari Tours made sure we experienced the best of it.
Apart from the exceptional game viewing in the park - it was fantastic to arrive at our campsite, already set up with a fire burning - and a more than welcome glass of wine!
Nothing beats falling asleep to the sounds of lion roaring, and the exhilaration of knowing they have the freedom to walk right past us!
The food prepared for us was of the highest standard, the guides knowledgeable and patient, and the camp hands cheerful and helpful!
Definitely will be going again

Fantastic experience of all Chobe has to offer
Kalahari Tour's provide an amazing service.
From arranging your pick up to the actual game drives (and Chobe river views), the experience is awesome. Friendly, highly knowledgeable guides will share their passion for all Chobe's wildlife, and answer all your questions too. Their experience will find for you the very best opportunities to view the dense and diverse game available. Every trip has been memorable.
There's a reason I've chosen Kalahari now over 4 different years, they're the best!
That includes their overnight camping package, a truly wonderful experience you should not miss!

Handled our travel chaos well
We had a bit of travel chaos, with a child falling ill. It was handled very graciously and compassionately by Kalahari Tours. I’d definitely recommend them.

courteous and professional interaction from beginning to end
My wife and I spent 3 days and 2 nights in Chobe National Park with the team from Kalahari Tours. Our guide, K (Kanawe), along with MP and Amos (chefs and camp staff), were nothing short of exceptional. K put us on to pretty much every animal except Rhino, which are not found in the park due to government relocation programs. K's instinctive knowledge of animals, his tracking skills, humor, safety-first ethos, and focused desire to 'wow' you are nothing short of inspirational. We were treated to outstanding meals - home made bread, stir fry, salads, roast veg, seasoned steak, local 'pup', snacks, cereals .... etc.. Incredible. Big shout out to management and staff for a truly memorable visit to this unique part of the world. We were treated with uncommon courtesy by integral, hard working staff. We highly recommend Kalahari Tours and hope to visit and camp with you guys again in the future!

Best Safari experience ever.
Axe has been a wonderful safari guide and we feel blessed that we got the chance to be with him for three days. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!
Personable and experienced
We were very happy with our Chobe safari with Kalahari. I'm so glad we went ahead and did the 2 full days, so that we could not only enjoy staying out in the park and camping, but also having plenty of time to do 2 game drives on the second day and not feel rushed. Our guide OP was fantastic! He was funny and engaging, and also did a really great job at finding the main attractions we were there to see, the animals! We got to see so many different animals, several of which are apparently not common to spot, and I was ecstatic to finally see a leopard. I'd been on a safari in Kenya before, and that was the one animal I'd really wanted to see but hadn't, so now 12 years later I finally got to see not one, but three different leopards! I also very much enjoyed the boat ride along the Chobe River before we set off into the National Park. That gave us a different perspective and a chance to see other animals and get much closer than we could have on land. We felt safe and comfortable with OP during the safari, and were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this safari company and OP as a guide.

Professional and well run tour with very informative guide.
The tour exceeded my expectations. It was very well organised, the camp was well set up with decent tents and a daily shower, the long drop toilet was better that I have experienced elsewhere. The food was very good and we certainly didn’t go hungry, plenty of water was offered on a regular basis. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, he knew the area well and we saw plenty of wildlife. He was also very safety conscious and shared a lot of information about animal behaviour. I would definitely go again probably in a different season to experience the changes. Good value for money.

The booking with Kalahari tours was straightforward from start to finish and excellent in every way.
Initially we booked a morning 3-hour Game Drive and an afternoon 3-hour sunset river cruise for our first day in Botswana. From the moment we booked everything was handled efficiently and professionally. Ou guide for both trips was OP. His knowledge and expertise were exemplary. We felt totally safe in his hands.
Everything went well from start to finish. Kalahari tours arrived about 10 minutes before the scheduled time to collect our group and we never felt rushed. I have taken part in many safaris in both the Kruger and in Pilanesberg close to Sun City in South Africa, but these trips in Chobe National Park were far better. We saw more wildlife and got much closer to all the animals without causing any disturbance. I cannot speak highly enough of Kalahari tours and our guide OP.
We enjoyed our first day so much we were delighted to be able to book an extended tours for the next day, which included and excellent locally made lunch, and a repeat of our two tours on our final day. Every trip was different and every trip offered close but safe encounters with the animals. Throughout our guide, OP, showed exceptional knowledge and could not have been more helpful.
We will be returning later in the year and I am certain we will be using Kalahari tours.

Fantastic 2 night 3 day Camping Safari to Chobe National Park
We bought our Tickets through Umkulu Tours in Soth Africa. The transfer from Victoria Falls was seemless. Kalahari Tours has a very slick and smooth organisation. One is taken from the border to a their cafe HQ for breakfast. One boards a boat for a three hour tour on the Chobe River. Then lunch at the cafe. Nearly all their customers for the day do this. After the tour one enters the safari vehicle (well-designed and comfortable) for entry into the park.
Our tour guide was Sam who I think headed the guides for Kalahari Tours. Sam and his cook/assistant at Boga campsite were extraordinary. The food was amazing prepared as it was in camp conditions over open fires. Sam was an incredible, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide, who went out of his way to provide a memorable experience. Sam even tracked animals leaning from the vehicle. He was very aware of the home range and potential location of predators, including lions and leopards.
The camping experience was excellent though slightly scary. One heard elephants, lions and hyenas during the night. Ideally on shouldn't leave ones tent at night. If you need to pee you do it behind the tent preferably with your partner in tow.
