Great Camping Experience
The 3 days/2 nights camping trip to Chobe NP was perfectly organized, from start to finish (including formalities at the border, pick-up from hotel in Zambia, drop off in Zimbabwe, etc.)
All vital information was provided beforehand, including a list of what to pack/wear. Our guide Sam went out of his way to make it the best experience for everyone, and he gladly shared his incredible knowledge of the animals and nature. He was fun, but at the same time very professional when it came to safety and respecting and protecting the wildlife. Also Bernard, the camp's chef and Amos, the camp's host, took great care of everything and everyone. The campsite is unfenced, and of course basic for that matter, but has everything you need and would expect in such an amazing setting, surrounded by nature. All in all excellent value for money and an absolute recommendation. I'd go again anytime!

Our tour operator was very friendly, informative and open for questions at any time.
Really enjoyed my stay! I went on a 3 day camping trip in Chobe National Park.
Food was great (options for vegans available, be sure to ask for it upfront so they can plan accordingly).
Saw a lot of animals and beautiful nature. Our guide was always open for questions and would tell us so much about all the wildlife and fauna in the park. I had a great time.
Thanks, Kalahari Tours!

Amazing!
Thank you to Kalahari Tours and Opi for an amazing Chobe adventure. Opi is knowledgeable about all animals and birds and also knows all the right lighting and can turn the boat and the Land Cruiser to get the best pictures and also selfies! Everyone was helpful and the company seems very responsible. What an amazing day that our family will never forget.

This is the agency you want to go with
The skills and knowledge of the driver is key to the experience of the Chobe NP. Tracking the animals, driving safely on the bumpy roads while explaining the animal behavior. Kalahari tours has the best drivers.
We had the best sightings, learned a lot of things. Enjoyed magnificent sunsets and scenery.
While viewing a leopard close by, a pride of 16 lions, elephant families…
The camp was basic and correct. In plain nature. Food was good.
Absolutely recommendable.

Fantastic 2 night 3 day Camping Safari to Chobe National Park
We bought our Tickets through Umkulu Tours in Soth Africa. The transfer from Victoria Falls was seemless. Kalahari Tours has a very slick and smooth organisation. One is taken from the border to a their cafe HQ for breakfast. One boards a boat for a three hour tour on the Chobe River. Then lunch at the cafe. Nearly all their customers for the day do this. After the tour one enters the safari vehicle (well-designed and comfortable) for entry into the park.
Our tour guide was Sam who I think headed the guides for Kalahari Tours. Sam and his cook/assistant at Boga campsite were extraordinary. The food was amazing prepared as it was in camp conditions over open fires. Sam was an incredible, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide, who went out of his way to provide a memorable experience. Sam even tracked animals leaning from the vehicle. He was very aware of the home range and potential location of predators, including lions and leopards.
The camping experience was excellent though slightly scary. One heard elephants, lions and hyenas during the night. Ideally on shouldn't leave ones tent at night. If you need to pee you do it behind the tent preferably with your partner in tow.

The booking with Kalahari tours was straightforward from start to finish and excellent in every way.
Initially we booked a morning 3-hour Game Drive and an afternoon 3-hour sunset river cruise for our first day in Botswana. From the moment we booked everything was handled efficiently and professionally. Ou guide for both trips was OP. His knowledge and expertise were exemplary. We felt totally safe in his hands.
Everything went well from start to finish. Kalahari tours arrived about 10 minutes before the scheduled time to collect our group and we never felt rushed. I have taken part in many safaris in both the Kruger and in Pilanesberg close to Sun City in South Africa, but these trips in Chobe National Park were far better. We saw more wildlife and got much closer to all the animals without causing any disturbance. I cannot speak highly enough of Kalahari tours and our guide OP.
We enjoyed our first day so much we were delighted to be able to book an extended tours for the next day, which included and excellent locally made lunch, and a repeat of our two tours on our final day. Every trip was different and every trip offered close but safe encounters with the animals. Throughout our guide, OP, showed exceptional knowledge and could not have been more helpful.
We will be returning later in the year and I am certain we will be using Kalahari tours.

Efficient , affordable and professional, highly recommend
I’ve gone on a five-day, four-night trip to Savuti the guide was very informative and you could tell he knew what he was doing I had a lovely trip. During the daytime, we saw an abundance of different animals, and we were even lucky enough to see an impala killed by a leopard on the Chobe riverfront. During our stay on the riverfront, we saw three brown hyenas, which one doesn’t often see It was amazing. As we moved south to Savuti the drive was long, yes, but that is what is to be expected. T food was wonderful a 10 out of 10 The backup team that came with us was incredible and as a vegetarian, they provided wonderful meals and they did a really good job as some places don’t offer as good of a meal in the bush, especially as a vegetarian. The tents and the campsite, when we arrived at each, were already fully made, and showers were available throughout the day until it got dark, which was very refreshing after a long hot day whilst, in Savuti, we saw a handful of lions, as well as jackals and a male leopard, pushed beautifully on a Raintree this experience was once in a lifetime, and I will never forget it thank you to management and your wonderful team! Would recommend.

The Best Way to Experience Chobe National Park
We loved Kalahari tour. Sleeping in the bush and experiencing wildlife day and night was the most memorable. We have seasoned travelers and did number of safaris in Kanya, Tanzania, Bostswana. Namibia and South Africa. We did Kalahari tour in Chobe for 2 nights and 3 days before going to self drive safari into Moremi and Okowango. We would highly recommend this tour for first timers or experience safari goers.

World Class Service for a once in a lifetime experience!
To celebrate the 2023 New Year my partner and I decided to book a Safari with Kalahari Tours in Chobe National Park, Botswana, and it was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the tour operator made us feel like we were in the best hands. They were incredibly humble yet offered world-class service throughout the entire trip.
The safari itself was breathtaking. We saw everything from elephants to lions, and the guides were so knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into the wildlife and the park's ecosystem. Each day felt like a new adventure, with stunning sunrise and sunset game drives, and the boat cruise along the Chobe River was truly magical. The hospitality and care shown by the entire team made this trip one to remember.
The accommodations were comfortable and well-situated to offer a unique stay within the park. Every detail was taken care of, from delicious meals to thoughtful touches that made the experience extra special.
I highly recommend this tour operator for anyone looking to explore Chobe National Park. Their dedication to creating an unforgettable experience really sets them apart. I hope to return one day—it’s a place that leaves you with memories for a lifetime!
