Absolutely incredible. One of the greatest experiences of my life.
I would absolutely recommend Amshar and our guide Loth to anyone considering a Safari in northern Tanzania.
Amshar were great at tailoring the Safari to our needs (including organising flights to Zanzibar at the conclusion). They were responsive, organised and professional and at no point did I have concerns about the quality of the service which was provided.
Loth was fantastic. We got along really well, he was very interesting and knowledgeable, and I believe that he really cared about us and our experience. We also had dinner one night with some of the other drivers from Amshar who were also in the same camp (including Stanley) who seemed like they would be equally as good.
The accomodation was faultless, and on the last night we were even treated to a few lions stalking animals through our camp (though at no point did we feel unsafe).

If I was going to do another Safari I would definitely use Amshar, and I would recommend them to everyone I know.

Unforgettable Safari Experience in Tanzania
We, a family of four, had an incredible 4-day safari in Tanzania, exploring the stunning landscapes of Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The wildlife was absolutely breathtaking—we saw most of the animals and even witnessed the incredible wildebeest and zebra migrations, which was our main objective. We also saw lions chasing wildebeests and then eating their prey, cheetahs, and even a leopard! Our guide was fantastic; he was attentive to all our needs and made sure our trip was smooth and enjoyable. The ambiance at the migration camp was genuine and welcoming, making our stay even more memorable. Thanks to our guide’s expertise and the warm atmosphere, we had an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Excellent communication
First time in Tanzania and doing a safari so there were some logistics that we had to figured out. However, Edward and his team was great! The communication and flexibility was top notched. We had a wonderful safari and our guide Loth was awesome! He was friendly, knowledgeable and was always checking on how we were doing. The 3 days didnt felt long or tiring. The accommodations that we had set up through the tour was fantastic and all were very friendly. Thank you so much for being a part of our first time in Tanzania and our first safari adventure!

It was our first time in Tanzania and on a safari, and the experience was spectacular. Edward and his team organized everything flawlessly, with excellent communication and great flexibility. Communication: The whole team was very quick to respond to our needs and questions from our initial chat when we were just planning the trip and were always online when we arrived (even late hours or very early mornings). We are so grateful!
Service: We had various experiences in Tanzania so far, Amshar and team so far provided the greatest service. I cannot recommend enough our guide Rajab (ask for him!), who became our friend throughout our Safari. He is an excellent driver, really knowledgeable about wildlife and simply a great guide. We were lucky to see cheetah hunt, countless lions, zebras and more (we actually did the big 5)!
Value: we stayed at amazing accommodations and believe the price we paid was good value. It is all adjustable to your needs, which is great as well!
Reliability: Definitely the most reliable tour operator in Tanzania for us!

During safari planning, it would have been helpful to know about Arusha’s closer domestic airport for our Zanzibar connection, rather than flying from farther Kilimanjaro Airport.

Once in a lifetime safari experience.
When planning our trip to Tanzania, we stumbled over Amshar Serengeti Adventures on Insta and double checked ratings on TripAdvisor. The communication with Edward was prompt and easy. As we wanted to organize the different parts of the holiday separately, we decided for the local operator Amshar.
We started with a fly-in to the Serengeti (1,5 days), followed by Ngorongoro (1 day), Lake Manyara (1 day) and Tarangire (1 day). First two nights we stayed in excellent tented camps (Kon Tiki (preferred) and Heritage). Then we had 2 nights at Kankari Lodge, which were very comfortable and we enjoyed the pool after lots of dust on the roads. Last night in Arusha we loved the Planet Lodge with its beautiful garden. All lodges were proposed by Amshar and we were fully satisfied. Amshar additionally organized our first night on Zanzibar (before the Safari) and the transfer to the beach hotel after the Safari.

In total: This was an incredible experience and Amshar organized the whole Safari excellent. If possible, we would come back some time and would prefer Amshar again.

This is an organizer with great service, a very good program and an excellent guide.
It is hard for me to describe the value for money, because with them every moment is priceless, every moment is worth the entire amount paid for the safari. Our driver and guide was Stanley, who was a treasure trove of knowledge and a source of information about everything that was happening around us, his calmness and professionalism were invaluable and even in the hardest moments of our safari he behaved calmness and professionalism. If you want to go on safari choose Amshar, you will have something to remember for the rest of your life.
