Loved every second with Salina Wind Adventures
We booked a 10 day safari with Henry from Salina Wild Adventures. We have never been to Kenya before so had a look around the internet and decide to go with Henry. Firstly, he always replied in a timely manner to any questions and queries we had before we booked. He was the same after we booked, so it was great to have someone we trusted on the end of the phone. Henry arranged our 10 day safari from start to end, we wanted to see various parts so this included - Masai Mara NR, Lake Nakuru NP, Amboseli NP then finished at Diana Beach. Our flight arrived late at night and Henry was able to book us a hotel for the night near the airport so we could get a good rest and start the safari the next day. We were met the next day at the hotel by Henry and his driver David. We dropped Henry off on the way to Masai Mara and the adventure was underway. A few hours drive to the Mara passing through various towns and villages we got to see the real side of Kenya. Our accommodation for 2 nights here was the Simba Oryx - staff were great, lodge number 8 was amazing - it has a clear view of the sunset. We could see Zebras and other animals inside the grounds near our lodge. At night we had dinner that was provided and we sat at the fire they setup each night inside the main building to have a few drinks. The next morning we done the hot air balloon - this is a MUST. The 4am rise was well worth it when we were up in the balloon. The breakfast on landing was amazing. Henry can arrange it for the same cost as it was when in the Mara. The staff here made us breakfast to go and that was perfect. We seen so many animals in the Mara and our guide David was so well connected to the people here when one was spotted he would get us to where the animal was. We managed to see every single animal in the mara on the big checklist. We left here to travel to Lake Nakuru - we decided to take the boat trip on the lake after asking David for other things we could do in this area. Im so glad he did suggest this as the boat trip was brilliant. We learned so much about this area from the guide on the boat. We stayed at Lake Nakuru Lodge - it was quite busy but the choice of food would keep even the fussy eater happy. We spent 1 night here, then made the drive down to Amboseli - the land of dust. We stayed at Oilepo Amboseli Safari Lodge, if you plan to go to Amboseli I would 110% recommend you stay at this lodge if you can - you will not be disappointed. Josh and Francis will look after you in every way possible. This lodge also has a swimming pool so you can relax if you do an early safari and want some chill out time, if you visit here make sure you do the Sundowner. We climbed the view point in the NP and had amazing views. We spent 6 hours watching elephants here - there are so many to look at alongside the Hippos. We finished our trip in Diana Beach, it's alot more like a city here so the hotel is what most people would be more used to staying in. We liked the hotel, but if we could go back in time we would skip this part and stay longer in Amboseli. It was a good way to end the trip and relax a little before the flight home. If you have a late flight try and go for food at Carnivore in Nairobi as the food was good quality, Henry can help arrange.
Our time in Kenya this year would not have been anywhere near as good if it wasn't for Henry organising the lodges we stayed in as they have been hand chosen for a reason. They are clean, tidy, and will support all your needs. It is also worth a note here that as Henry used a guide - David who originates from the Mara had great knowledge of the Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli that it just made our trip 110% better. We loved spending time with David and asking far too many questions - ones he was only too happy to answer. I know for a fact writing this review that I will be back in Kenya in 12 months time because we enjoyed our time here so much. Our airline lost our luggage and this didnt even dampen how much we loved spending time here. Our only regret is we should have made it a 21 day trip instead of 10!.
Finally a heartfelt hanks to David who looked after us for 7 days, and Henry who arranged everything we needed before we arrived in Kenya. All in all, there is no one else you need to book a safari with apart from Salina Wild Adventures, we would recommend them to any of our friends in the UK to come here with them without a doubt! hii sio kwaheri tuonane baadaye.

Wonderful safari experience, easily organised
We organised a 2-day safari to Amboseli National Park at fairly short notice. Henry was super responsive to all queries and questions, and very patient in splitting, re-sending and troubleshooting payment options with us, and overall made the experience very easy to organise. Our guide Victor was friendly, informative and good company, and we learned a lot from him! Victor was really knowledgeable and we saw lots of animals, and learned lots of interesting facts about the animals and Amboseli. Victor also went to lots of effort to make sure we got the best photos possible (e.g. turning the car so we could see animals with a backdrop of Kilimanjaro behind them). Our accommodation was lovely, comfortable and had great food and wonderful views of the mountain in the morning... although unfortunately we were not staying long enough to enjoy many of the amenities.

Very warm and thoughtful service
I compared three companies at the same time. There is not much difference in price, but Henry's service is the most professional.

Great package, great value, great driver, great experience, see details in review below.
My family and I recently embarked on an unforgettable safari trip with Salina Wild Adventures, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we set off, it was clear that our English-speaking driver was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about wildlife and conservation. He provided insightful commentary throughout the journey, enriching our experience with fascinating facts about the animals and the ecosystem.
The path design of the safari was meticulously planned, ensuring that we could witness a wide array of wildlife in their natural habitats without causing any disturbance. It was a perfect blend of adventure and education, allowing us to appreciate the beauty of the wild up close while understanding the importance of preserving it.
Moreover, Salina Wild Adventures proved to be incredibly kid-friendly. The paths were safe and easily navigable, making it comfortable for families with children to explore. The driver was patient and engaging, often pointing out sights that would interest the kids and answering their myriad of questions with enthusiasm.
This safari trip was an extraordinary adventure that combined learning with fun in a way that was accessible for all ages. Salina Wild Adventures has truly created an experience that not only respects the wild but also leaves its visitors with a deeper understanding and appreciation for nature. It's an experience we'll cherish forever, and we can't wait to return.

Excellent safari organization
It was a wonderful safari. We went on a 5-day tour to the Tsavo East and West, Amboseli, Taita Hills national parks, started from Mombasa, ended at Diani beach. On the organization of the safari we communicated with Teddy Shallytom a few months before the trip. We discussed all questions on the itinerary and cost. Teddy was always very quick to respond, gave full information and was always in touch during the safari. We were met at the airport by Charles Awuor - the director of the company. Charles also took great care of us. I can say that everything was as we discussed, everything was as per the itinerary and arrangements. We had no worries anywhere. Our driver was Omar. We were very happy with the driver. Omar was punctual, attentive to all our requests, polite, with a sense of humor. His car did not break down. Omar is a very experienced driver and safari guide. He showed us every possible animal on safari. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to be on safari in Kenya.
Excellent safari experience!
Our safari tour from the company Salina Wild Adventures was as it should be: excellent! The organisation in advance by Teddy, the meeting at the airport directly with the company's boss Charls and our safari were carried out in a competent and friendly manner. Our driver Omar also deserves a lot of praise: professional, experienced in safari and taking care to give the tourists the very best experience with the animals. Once when we got information about a Cheetah on the radio, he really rushed to the spot so that we could see the animal. Always on time, always helpful and with funny and interesting stories about Kenya and its people. A clear recommendation!

Magical and Excellent Customer Service
I had issues getting a visa but the crew went above and beyond and for that, I was honestly appreciative. My guide was the best with a wealth of knowledge and very informative. First time doing a safari and it was truly magical and everything I had hoped for.

Great value for money and the best tour guide!
The value for money is amazing because with Salina we purchased a private tour at the price that other operators offered us a shared one. The van and the hotels they chose for us were lovely.
We had Victor as our guide who we found super professional and friendly, he has great conversation. It shows that he knows Kenya, the parks, and the species that live there, he gave us excellent information. He was very good at spotting animals and was always attentive to whether we wanted to spend more time in one place or continue to the next, plus he made sure we were always having a great time.

Excellent customer service, bespoke safari trips, knowledgeable
We just returned from a great safari trip in Kenya including Masai Mara, Naivasha and Nakuru lakes. Booking with Salina Wild Adventures was like having our own tour operator on the other side of our desk. Charles was very responsive and attentive to our queries, he managed to book us in very nice hotels and camps. He met us at the airport along with our guide tour Victor, a very knowledgeable guide with many years of experience in the Masai Mara. Travelling with Victor for 7 days was a blessing. He was very caring, happy, flexible, and responsible. He was always on time with a big smile on his face, he helped us to have a good time on our trip and pointing out some of the animals that we could not see. My children and I had a great time on our trip, we highly recommended Salinas Wild Adventures, including Victor & Charles. Thank you for the beautiful memories in Kenya.
