Good in communication, need to be improved vehicle safety
Our communication with Serengeti Mystery Adventures were very smooth. Responded immediately whatever we asked. It made us really relieved. Trip it self went well according to the schedule. Only one things disappointed and not able to recommend was lack of safety in quality of vehicle such as no seat belt, broken handle, car break down (old battery). Cars need to be well maintained.

Harrison was exceptional, he became part of our family during our trip!
My family and I recently embarked on an unforgettable 8-day safari, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime.
From the moment we landed to our departure, every aspect of the journey exceeded our expectations. We were warmly greeted at the airport and transferred to our first destination, then picked up the following day to start our National Park adventures. Each park brought it's own surprises, but all were filled with wildlife and views. We were amazed at how close we were to some of the animals, witnessing elephants walking in front of your jeep is truly an incredible experience. Harrison, our guide's knowledge of the park’s history and wildlife made the experience even more enriching.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a natural wonder that took our breath away. The diverse landscape within the crater provided an excellent backdrop for our game drives. We saw an array of wildlife, including the elusive black rhino; which seeing that helped us complete seeing the "Big Five."
I can't say enough positive words about Harrison. He was exceptional! His extensive knowledge of the parks, wildlife, and local culture significantly enhanced our experience. He was not only a guide but a storyteller who brought the history and wildlife of Tanzania to life. His enthusiasm when trying to get us to a wildlife sighting, patience as we wanted to sit for periods of time to watch the animals, and attention to detail ensured that we had a flawless and enjoyable trip.
Overall, we had absolutely no complaints. The accommodations were comfortable and well-located, the food was delicious, and the entire trip was well-organized. Every day brought new adventures and unforgettable moments.
HIGHLY recommend this to anyone thinking about doing a safari!

SMA provided the perfect environment and guide staffing for an unfortgettable safari adventure
SMA provided us with two guides, one younger and one oled guide/driver, which worked out wonderfully for our family of fourt (2 adults and 2 children 11+14), as we received a lot of attention and educaitonal information from the non-driving guide while the driver focused on the roads. we saw all Big 5 plus so much more. from black cobra and rock python fighting with Marabu Storcks to a Wildebeest defending itselfagainst a lion attack to lions going in formation to sneak up and kill their prey. we also saw a leopard and cheetah plus many elefants, lions, hippos and even a rhino.
we stayed in amazing plazes and could not have planned our 5 day rtip any better, spending 3 days in Serengeti and 2 days in and around Ngorongoro Crater.
Great experience
Make sure to take with you a daily dust mask with exhalation valve. Check with your driver tiolet stops in advance as in some places you won't be able to get out of the car.

Well done
Communication with the rep/sales (Deus) was excellent. Driver-guide Kalvin was also polite, punctual and knowledgeable.
Points to improve though are vehicle - could have been newer (keep in mind very dusty and shaky roads, so additional comfort would not harm), program though good - I was not aware of Tarangire national park, hooked only by the big names of Serengeti & Ngorongoro - so it was a perfect addition, but more precise info would have been nice, especially about times - as from Tarangire to Serengeti it took almost the whole day and not just 1,5 as it was stated in the program.
Also it feels like that you should better know what you want on safari - otherwise stops times might be either too long or too short.
Accomodation was quite good, especially Baobab tented camp.
Lunch could have been better - lunchboxes are provided by accomodation mostly, but we spotted also one group being catered with metal pots instead of humble lunchboxes, so there is room to grow (consider to buy some snacks in advance )

“Unique experience”
We spent 5 unforgettable days on the safari! The group we chose was excellent, as was our guide, Focus! I would recommend it to everyone, as it’s one of the most affordable options and they are very professional!

Wonderful trip with our very good guide Kefas
We planned our trip 6months before coming, and they were very helpful to plan our trip the way we wanted it! Very reactive in communication both before and after the booking as well as very flexible. You get what you payed for in terms of accomodation.
In terms of the tour itself we were very lucky to be accompanied by an excellent guide Kefas. His knowledge is top notch and you will get plenty of explanation, he also knew all the good spots to find the animals we all come for on a safari! Full bingo card for the big five and the big cats Tanzania has to offer.

Great tour leader
Our tour leader, Mr. Focus, was amazing. He was nice and knowledgable and shared alot of facts regarding different animals life style. He always tried to find different animals and provide a best angle for us to watch them. He respected our wishes to stay longer to watch migration in north.
food was good and hotels were clean. Unfortunately, alot of them didn’t have proper wifi.
There are few complains. The main one is, it seems the tour company paid for 48 hours Serengeti park entrance fee while we supposed to stay three days there. we supposed to stay in center serengeti for one day and two days in north serengeti. while it was not easy to do that by this limited time (48hrs). So after one day staying in center and one day at north, we had to change our plan from second day at north to center. Although our game drive on center also was short on third day which is a disappointed.
Also it was better if we had more detailed plan of day to day activities before starting the tour. It was not clear to us how many hours we are going to do game drives per day when we booked the tour. Eventhough they mentioned the hours of transfer per day, it was not even close to reality. We had much longer transfer time each day, almost double to what they mentioned. So the game drive per day was max 2-3 hours. It seems the person who arrange and plan the tour, he never went actually on the tour or not talk to their tour leaders to share a more realistic safari plan.
Besides, planning, everything else was good, especially our tour leader, Mr. Focus.

Unforgettable vacation
I chose Serengeti Mystery Adventures at a time when I appreciated the immediate response of manager Deus and his desire to find the best solutions. Others did not convince me. Depending on what we wanted, he designed a very good program that was completed with the appropriate accommodations.
We spent 5 dream days in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, in the company of elephants, we experienced the emotions of meeting several times with lions, which we captured in various poses, hundreds, thousands of wildebeests or zebras unfolded in front of us , during this period of migration, we saved at least for one day a baby antelope that was hiding scared by a hyena right next to our tent.
And the most beautiful surprise was on the evening of August 8 when, at the table, all the staff from Moyo came singing Jambo and "Happy Birthday", leaving me speechless, almost crying with joy! A huge cake that I later shared with everyone there was smiling at me from the hands of Mary, a beautiful and nice girl, very happy and excited about what they had planned at the suggestion of the organizer from Serengety Mystery Adventures whom - I asked him not to let me sleep in the savannah with the lions and he told me that he would make sure I don't forget what happened to a lion on August 8...and, of course, I won't forget. So, yes, I recommend choosing Serengeti Mystery Adventures because it is a serious company, which takes into account what the client wants and surely finds solutions for anyone. Our guide was Nelson, whom we appreciate.
Thank you Deus, it was an unforgettable vacation and a wonderful anniversary. We will certainly come back in the years to come, but now we know that you are planning something that will leave you with beautiful emotions!
Good luck, Ella and Razvan
