An experience to remember!
Adventure of a lifetime! We’ve spent 4 days in Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorngoro Crater Conservation Area and it was amazing! We’ve been lucky enough to see all the Big 5 and we have the best memories to remember from now on! Highly recommend Serengeti Clarity.
As for our guide, Charles, he was a great partner in this adventure! He had a “sense” for spotting the wild animals and he took good care of us during the journey.
We wished we could have started even a little bit earlier than we did, for seeing the carnivores hunting. Although we “helped” a cheetah female and her cub enjoy a “snack” in a shape of a rabbit! 😢(for the rabbit), ☺️ (for the cheetahs) 😱 (for us).
I also highly recommend the walking tour in the Ngorngoro Conservation Area and we hope you are lucky to have Ranger Limo as your tour guide here!
ASANTE SANA, CHARLES and SERENGETI CLARITY! We will not forget this time together! 🙏

Custom made safari tour
Frank and the Team at Serengeti Clarity made this a great mini vacation. We travelled with parents and had requested a more relaxed version with 2 nights at Tangire and 2 at Ngorogoro Crater, 1 at Manyara Lake as well as a hotel night in Arusha at each end. It was definitely the right thing to do to have more family time. Hassan, our guide, looked after us well and was extremely safe on the slightly chaotic Tanzanian roads. Everything from the airport pick-up (thanks Mohamed) to the final drop-off worked like clock-work.

The most wonderful guide one can ask for to visit Tanzania
Our first visit to Tanzania started at the Kenian/Tanzanian border where Abduli Steven Handu welcomed us and helped us with immigration proceedings. From there he drove us to the Serengeti and the Kontiki Camp situated in the pure wilderness, in midst of many animals, unbelievable peace and stars shining on us. The following morning we started at 7 am to explore the endless expanse of the Serengeti at some 60000 sqkm some 50% larger than Switzerland. Abduli through his knowledge and experience discovered the absolute highlight of our 9 hour game drive spending some 3 hours with 4 lion families, experiencing pups play, from one of the lions growling at the pups, taking a first bite of his wife’s lunch presentation (a fresh wilderbeest) to the lions trying to rest in the shade of our jeep. Abdul tried everything to find us a leopard resting on a tree. His eyes are perfect, he’s there for his clients, he’s eager to please and super kind. On our second day we drove through the Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater to find a local rhino! And yes he did succeed. Again his knowledge, Persistence paid off to also see buffalos, elephants, endless flamingos and hyenas. In the late afternoon we arrived in Karatu. Today upon our request we dropped all classic tourist stuff and went to a local market where bought us fruit and spices. We stopped a local clinic within a catholic school to get some itching remedy before saying hello to a local school class, helped sweeping the entrance of the church and talked to a teacher and the head master.
Everyone wishing to visit Tanzania via Clarity Travel should definitely request Abduli as their local partner - if we could give him 10 stars we would. The more bookings he gets the easier it becomes to get his daughters through school which is his single most important thing in life.

Serengeti Clarity organized a wonderful adventure for us.
We were fortunate enough to find Serengeti Clarity after doing a little research and following advice from travel blogger Ella McKendrick, who suggested booking directly with a company in Tanzania. We were initially a little nervous about this. I am so glad we followed through. Frank organised a personalised safari for us, which perfectly suited our needs.
Our 8-day safari with Captain Safari Kelvin—our guide—was amazing. A new adventure every day. Kelvin also shared a lot about the people and culture of Tanzania. What an education. Kelvin's knowledge and love of the parks and animals and his country were clearly evident. He even took the time to speak to our very inquisitive 5-year-old grandson back home in Australia via WhatsApp. Thank you, Kelvin. We felt very privileged to have you as our guide.
Thank you to Frank and the team who organised an amazing adventure and made us feel so special when we arrived and on our last day.
