The Adventure Of A Lifetime!
When it came to choosing a tour operator in Africa, there were so many options it was incredibly daunting. I could have gone with a global company like Intrepid, but it was important to me to support a local business on the ground, rather than working with a middle man.
I’m so glad I stumbled upon Serengeti Clarity. Frank was fantastic to deal with. We wanted to combine seeing Kenya and Tanzania in the one trip. We just let him know what we wanted to see, and our budget, and he designed an itinerary for us to tick all our boxes.
The trip itself has been absolutely flawless, with the Kenyan operator and Serengeti Clarity working seamlessly together. Our guide in Tanzania, Abdul, is so kind and thoughtful, and has looked after us every step of the way. He has gone out of his way to ensure we see everything we want to see (The Big 5!), and is always checking on us to ensure we’re having a wonderful time. He even took me to see the village nurse when I wasn’t feeling well to get some electrolytes. Abdul is very knowledgeable, and carefully balances maximising our experience with respecting the wildlife. Above all he is a safe driver and a consummate professional. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their guide for this amazing adventure.
I cannot thank the entire Serengeti Clarity team enough for making all our dreams come true. This has been the adventure of a lifetime, and one we will never forget.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a tour with Hasen, and I can't recommend him enough! Our tour guide, Hasen, was truly exceptional. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and personal touch made the experience unforgettable. He went above and beyond to ensure that everyone felt included and engaged, sharing fascinating stories and insights that brought the sights to life.
The itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to explore at a comfortable pace while maximizing our experience. Hasen's passion for the area was evident, and his tips and recommendations were invaluable.

Amazing local Safari Company!
I booked with Serengeti clarity after a reading the reviews. Frank the owner was easily contactable and very friendly! He offered great tours at great prices. From the moment we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport Serengeti Clarity were amazing! We were met by a driver who drove us to Arusha for the night before our safari started. The next morning we were greeted by one of the best tour operators in the business, Temba. For the next 5 days we had the most amazing safari. Temba was very knowledgeable his facts and information on Tanzania and the safari locations and wildlife were unbelievable. We saw so many animals (including the big 5) thanks to Temba. The accommodation we stayed at was also really great!

Exceptional safari experience with outstanding guides and top-notch service!
We are so happy with our decision to use Serengeti Clarity to plan our trip and guide us on safari in Tanzania! With so many tour companies to choose from, the decision was overwhelming. We initially reached out to five companies for quotes, and Serengeti Clarity stood out immediately during the planning phase. They were incredibly responsive, accommodating to our requests, and quickly customized an itinerary that was perfect for us at a reasonable price.
Nearly every aspect of our trip exceeded our expectations. The jeep was very comfortable, the food delicious, and the accommodations were great. We saw SO many animals including the Big 5, zebras, giraffes and so much more. Highlights included staying at a tented camp in the Serengeti, our guided Kilimanjaro hike with Matthew, a walking safari in the Ngorongoro conservation area, unforgettable wildlife sightings, and, most importantly, our amazing safari guide and jeep driver, Johnson.
Johnson truly made our safari experience magical. He was warm and relaxed, a skilled driver, expert animal spotter, extremely knowledgeable, and fun to be around (which is important when you’re spending so much time with your guide!). We learned so much from him about the animals, parks, and local culture.
We also appreciated the support that Frank and Peter provided leading up to and during our trip. Their responses were always extremely quick and gracious.
We highly recommend Serengeti Clarity—especially our safari guide, Johnson, and our Kilimanjaro hike guide, Matthew!

Fabulous experience
Great service from first communication with Frank. Nothing was too much trouble when changes were requested in the planning stages. Everyone involved was reliable. The safari was beyond our expectations. Kelvin our guide was amazing, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm about nature and his culture with us throughout the 7 days we were with him. I doubt a better guide exists. It was a perfect holiday and one none of our family will forget.

More magical than I could ever have wished for
I honestly don't even know where to start with this review. I had a truly once in a lifetime experience during my 9 day adventure with Serengeti Clarity. Kelvin (our guide) was awesome - so knowledgable, so passionate, so entertaining (and had the best safari outfits you've seen). From the second we met Kelvin at the airport and saw the Jeep we'd be in, stocked with beers, water, snacks, safari sunhats, animal books and more to the moment he dropped us off to go home, we had the best time. We journeyed from Lake Manyara, to Tarangire, to Ngorongoro, to Serengeti - and every day brought something else that blew our minds. We were convinced each day that the next couldn't get better, and it always did! Kelvin was so so amazing at knowing where to find animals, seeing them extremely close up, often first to find things so we could enjoy the nature without other people there (which is particularly impressive). He organised delicious hot lunches for us every day and we loved sitting and chatting away with him getting to know all about Tanzania, the national parks and his own background. In terms of our animal leadership board - we averaged about 10 lions a day, 3 cheetahs a day, a leopard a day, more elephants and giraffes than you can count and incredibly, saw 3 of the incredibly rare black rhinos in Ngoro.
Frank was a truly wonderful organiser - we didn't have anything to worry about and he was so incredibly flexible when helping us organise our dream trip. He took into account everything we asked for and more - the lodges he organised for us, the food, everything was spectacular. He even did us a special painting to take home with us which we proudly have up on our wall! He also organised a really fun birthday event in the Serengeti which made it even more special.
I couldn't recommend Serengeti Clarity and Kelvin enough - we are already planning our next trip and we will 100% be using these guys!

Well organised tours which emphasise traveller comfort and safety
Rashid our tour guide was knowledgable, a cautious and very skilled driver who was very concerned about our comfort and safety, throughout the tour. His knowledge of the terrain, combined with his driving skills and conscientious service needs special mention as it made a world of difference to our Safari experience.
We saw each of the big five and more during our 7 day tour and learnt about the culture and people of Tanzania in addition to learning about its varied wildlife, flora and fauna.

Fantastic Tanzania safari tour across Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Abdul an excellent tour guide
We - a family of 4 - booked a 4 night private safari tour across the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. Our dedicated guide Abdul surpassed our expectations. Apart from knowing both parks very well he knew exactly where to go to find all the animals we wanted to see. We saw all the big 5 as well as the ugly 5 and the cheetah including cubs. He was also a very safe and experienced driver ensuring the vehicle never got stuck anywhere. The accommodations selected by the tour company also met our expectations. Overall highly recommended.

Excellent experience in all regards
Fantastic experience—ever better than we expected. Abdul was an excellent guide. His understanding of the animals (where they would be and how they behave) was also matched with a care and respect for the animals that made the safari even more special. We saw all the animals we hoped to see and more—and incredibly close. We visited 4 parks all were beautiful. Each of the stays were comfortable and beautiful. Food was very tasty. Great communication. Strongly recommend this for others.
