One of the best company I met in Tanzania
This was my second time to visit Tanzania and did the safari. Last year it was another company and it was kind of a disaster but these guys, Elisha, Justin and Daudi know that they are doing. They are great with spotting animals and great drivers too. It only took them few minutes to change the wheels when there is a problem, and trust me you don’t want to be stuck in the middle of the safari with mot work vehicle.
Overall, we did see all big 5, not just see but bunch of them. Everyone in the group loved the experience.

Wonderful! Amazing! Brilliant! Professional!
From start to finish this was a brilliant experience. At short notice we booked a 2 day safari. The communication from Happy was swift, informative, responsive and clear. I got 7 quotes in all from companies and checked with chat gpt and this company came out top! Everything was smooth and of a high standard.
Transfers were arranged, flights, accommodation everything!! Every person we met was kind, helpful and lovely.
The safari was amazing. We saw loads of elephants and zebras and gnus. We saw lions and hippos and rhinos. We saw a giraffe and monkeys. Lions stalking zebras, a gnu giving birth to its baby, bay elephants playing. It was everything we hoped for and more. The food was just amazing. The guides were knowledgeable and we met some interesting and like minded travellers. On day one we were lucky that no one else was sharing our Jeep on day 2 we joined others and worried it would be crowded but it just isn’t and it was a great experience. Going home we were transported in a lovely car back to the airport and saw Mount Kilimanjaro peak through the clouds. Again wow!!!!
There are loads of companies offering safaris but I would highly recommend you book with this company. We were looked after so well and had an amazing once in a life time experience. We communicated with Happy. She is super quick to respond and made everything easy and stress free.
I highly recommend this company if you want an amazing experience at a great price

Great experience. Lydia and team were hugely helpful throughout!
My 4-day tour was all I could’ve hoped for. The safari experiences in all three parks were filled with animals and amazing views. On top of the tour experience, Lydia and team handle airport and hotel pick up/drop off and any other question/concern you might have. Great experience all around!

Fantastic, very well organised safari
This safari experience was surreal! It was well organised regarding the transport, overnight stay and the general safari experience. The communication from the company was fantastic through-out. We really enjoyed the safari itself, we managed to see the big 5 baring in mind the animals are extremely hard to spot but the drivers are very knowledgeable and well-experienced, they can spot them from a mile off! There is a lot of travelling involved (including a 5 hour journey back to Kilimanjaro airport following the tour for us) but it was well worth it. We looked into the travel-costs, entrance fees and the overnight lodge costs etc after the trip and overall the money we spent was 100% worthwhile. Thank you Kilipath safari's for the trip of a lifetime!

A great experience for the whole family.
We booked a three-day stay with Kilipath African Safari. Lydia was very helpful and accommodating from start to finish in planning the trip and arranging all the arrangements.
After arriving in Arusha, we visited Tarangire on the first day, and the next day we drove to the Ngorongoro Crater with the same driver, Mayunga. We were happy that we were able to observe wild animals such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, leopards, lions, hippos, flamingos, buffaloes and others in their natural environment of beautiful nature. We were also lucky and saw the big five, although the rhino was very far away, at least that's what the driver told us. :) The driver was very communicative and was able to answer our questions about not only the animals, but also the lives of the local people, interesting facts from history and some information about tribal conflicts.
On the third day, together with our guides Lydia and Geofrey, we visited the Materuni waterfall with a breathtaking view of Kilimanjaro. During the ride to the waterfall, we used the time to chat with our guides and learned a lot of interesting information about the life and customs of the people of Tanzania. After swimming in the waterfall, we visited a local village for lunch with a demonstration of coffee processing, including roasting and subsequent tasting. At our request, the guides took us to a shop with truly beautiful goods, where we bought local pictures in the Tinga tinga style. :) All services provided and arranged by Kilipath African Safari were at a professional level and we recommend this trip to the mainland.

Tour operator was great, everything went smooth because of her.
We asked for a quote 2 days before we wanted to leave for safari, because we got led on by another company that charged double (1500$ per person) at the last second. Within 30 minutes of asking for a quote we made the down payment (yes we we’re skeptical but we had good faith) and I can assure you everything went as smooth as it gets. Plane tickets were booked within 12 hours (because of a national holiday otherwise it would’ve been quicker), and the Tour operator arranged every step of the way. Transfer from hotel to the airport and back, on time. Had an amazing time at the Tarangire NP and Ngorongoro Crater. Seen all of The Big Five and our guide Adam was amazing. Credits to him for being as excited as we were to encounter rare sightings as the rhino, as well as a family of elephants drinking and bathing in the same pool of water. 10/10 would recommend Kiliman Safari’s, we had an amazing time with them. See you in the next one!

Very caring and trying to look after you
Kilipath is an operator and uses 3rd party for the actual touring.
Happy herself was very lovely and caring. She gave detailed information about the 4 day safari.
The safari was also good. Got to see all big 5 animals and others.
However, I was not too happy about the way the driver(guide) and chef acted towards me. I was a solo East Asian traveler and had been put into other group with French Couple and Danish Family.
The driver was an hour late on the 1st day. No message. Apparently, the 1st car was broken and he had to get a new one. When the new car arrived, he only took the French couple in my group with him. Not bothering to call me to come with him. Same behaviors were repeated over the course of 4 days. I had to find out about next plans or my accommodation arrangement from other tourists in my group. Cos the driver quite often left me out in explaining.
The way he talked to me was very dictating and undermining. He was far more courteous to other people in the group. Seems he decided it was OK to look down on me (only solo traveller in the group).
To give an example, to me he would say 'open and close the door.'
To others, 'can you open and close the door again please.')
When it came to tipping, again, he dictated me. It was not 'can you give tips to the chef when ~' but 'you give tips to the chef when~' Due to the words he used to dictate me on tipping, I got confused over whether the tip was pooled/shared by the crew or given individually. I ended up giving the tips for both of them to the chef. Then the driver demanded me more tips, which I was not prepared to give. The driver 'lied' that the chef was far away and he could not drive hours to go and talked to him. But the tourists in my group (who were continuing one more day) confirmed the chef was with them again that night. Meaning, the driver could talk to the chef and sort out the tip issue on that night, instead of demanding me to pay double tips when I wasn't impressed with their attitudes towards me.
The chef called me Chinese when he saw me and I told him I wasn't. Informed him of my nationality. The very next day, he called me China. Calling random East Asian 'Chinese' is pretty much the same as calling a random African 'Kenyan' or other better known African countries. In addition, while the chef smiled and greeted other guests, he would ignore my greetings on a few occasions.
Tanzania receives international guests from worldwide and people in tourism business should be more aware and be culturally sensitive.
To give them credit, the driver was a good tracker. The chef cooked nice food. They were, at least, more polite to White travellers.
And despite not being impressed with the driver or the chef, I am impressed with Tanzania and would love to visit again.
I would be happy to have Happy from Kilipath as my tour operator again, provided that she gets me a different driver and cook.

No
Poor organization. Until the very last moment we did not have fixed schedules.
The timings were never clear. On the morning of the second safari we were given a time that was not respected at all; instead, we had to wait an extra hour for another group to finish breakfast.
On the first day, the jeep had several problems and only started when pushed — not exactly a great or reassuring way to begin a safari.
Until the last minute we didn’t know what time we were supposed to leave for the airport. They realized this far too late, threw us into another jeep, and we had to rush like crazy, arriving at the airport where they almost didn’t let us check in.
A nightmare. Stressful and very disrespectful, considering how much money we paid.
I strongly recommend turning to professional agencies instead.
