Excellent follow up everyday during the tour to make sure our trip is smooth and fun
5/5

7D6N Safari + Kilimanjaro Day Hike (Coca cola route) + Materuni Waterfall
1) 5 star for the Safari - excellent follow up from Happy day to day to make sure our trip is smooth and fun. Tarangire, Serengeti, Nogrongoro and Manyara lake are all interesting and we did enjoy the safari very much. Many many many animals and birds.
2) 5 star for the Materuni waterfall hike and coffee tour. Easy hike through local villages and green plants, with view of Kilimanjaro Peaks. The coffee tour with lunch is excellent to taste the local food and how local coffee are made.
3) 2.5 star for the hike from Marangu gate to Mandara hut. The rainforest is green and pretty. However, hike all the way through thick forest, took a picture at the hut and rush back was not so fun - 16 km, from 10am to 5pm. There is no viewpoint for the peak nor for valley. It is just too rush for day trip, better to skip this and do the Materuni waterfall hike. Our mountain guide Sumali just walked and walked. There is no explanation no talking just rushing and keep pushing us to go back, mentioning we need to go out before 6pm, in reality we were back to the gate 1 hour ahead.

Accommodations:
1. Love the Misako Migration Camp in center Serengeti, luxury and comfort in the wild. There were waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, giraffes (afar) wondering around the campsite.
2. Tanzania Bush Camp Mara River in northern Serengeti is also great, just a bit less after staying in Misako. Always zebras wondering around and there are vultures and Malabu storks on the roof and trees.
3. Marera valley lodge - luxury room and fantastic dinner. I would recommend this over Farm of Dreams lodge.
4. Farm of Dreams lodge - looked amazing from outside, with show and entertainment before dinner, but the room, services and food is much better in Marera valley lodge.
5. Pre and post-safari accommodation in Arusha - Summit safari lodge. Okish hotel with all you need, clean and comfy bed, just we struggle with the hot water for shower. Recommend to upgrade to a better hotel to match the hotels during safari.
6. Pre-Kilimanjaro day hike - Whitehouse Hotel in Moshi. I love the window/balcony with Kilimanjaro view. Both rooms we had had no hot water for showering, just brave the cold. The waiters are friendly but they only cook on order, "slowly", waited 1 hour 30 mins for our dinner. Recommend to upgrade to a better hotel to match the hotels during safari.

Tips:
1. Extra3.5% if paying the tour by card, be prepared or prepare cash.
2. It was stressful for our guide to rush from northern Serengeti to get to the southern exit by noon. I would pay extra to stay another night in central Serengeti so we can be more relax and enjoy more the safari.
3. Upgrade the hotels pre/post safari.

Thank you Happy and Geoffrey from Kilipath, and our safari driver James for the wonderful experience!

Extremely friendly, helpful and proactive. Great experience!
5/5

We just returned from a 4 day, life changing safari trip. The entire experience felt like living inside a National Geographic documentary.

The Kilipath African Safari team was extremely helpful, proactive and kind. They were by our side from the moment of booking to the moment they dropped us off at the hotel after the safari (and even helped us arrange transfer to airport). Lydia was super kind, always checking in to see all our needs were met.

All in all a 10/10 experience. We would highly recommend.

Amazing experience in the safari
5/5

What an unforgettable experience! Every moment of the 4 day trip felt like we were living inside a National Geographic documentary.

We started the trip in Tarangire, continued to Serengeti and wrapped up in Ngorongoro crater. Due to the different landscapes, each of the parks offers a completely unique experience. Seeing the animals in their natural habitat is extraordinary.

The entire trip was made even better by our amazing guide Assad. He was kind, patient, funny, calm, extremely knowledgeable and great at finding different animals. He kept us engaged by sharing a lot of interesting information and fun facts about the parks, the landscape and the animals. If we ever come back, we would for sure pick Assad as our guide again!

Another highlight of the trip was the amazing freshly cooked food. It was above our expectations.

The Kilipath tour operators were extremely helpful and Lydia helped us arrange the trip and all airport transfers. They were extremely proactive, kind and responsive. Checking in every evening to make sure everything is going as planned and our experience was enjoyable.

All in all a 10/10 experience.

Amazing Safari Experience with Kilipath and Our Guide George!
We had an unforgettable safari trip through the Serengeti and Lake Manyara with Kilipath. Our guide, George, was absolutely fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful. He explained everything about the animals and nature around us, but never made us feel rushed or pressured.

The whole experience felt very familiar and relaxed, as if we were traveling with a good friend. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, which made the journey even more special! Every day brought something new and exciting, and George’s enthusiasm made it all the more enjoyable.

It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure — well-organized, beautiful, and filled with great memories. We highly recommend Kilipath and George to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania!

Solo Trip from China — Amazing Tanzania Safari Experience (English & Chinese)
5/5

I had an amazing experience with Kilipath African Safari!

From the very beginning, Prisca was the most responsive and professional among the five safari companies I contacted. I first sent my 6-day proposal to several operators, and only Prisca took the time to carefully answer my personal questions and provide clear guidance. During the two months of preparation, she was always patient and responsible, communicating with me both on WeChat and WhatsApp. When my flight was delayed due to a typhoon and I was at risk of missing my connection, Prisca even helped contact the airline to make sure I could continue my trip — I’m truly grateful for her kindness and efficiency.

On the last day, Emanuel came to pick me up and take me to the airport. He was punctual, kind, and easy to talk with. When I mentioned I wanted to visit the office to thank Prisca, he kindly made a detour to bring me there, where everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

The food during the safari was excellent — I originally joked that I would lose weight in Africa, but I ended up eating so well every day! My guide was highly professional, and we were lucky enough to witness the wildebeest river crossing after waiting only one hour.

The accommodation was also great — clean tents and even a complimentary hotel night (since it wasn’t peak season). The airport pickup went perfectly too; even though immigration was slow, they waited for me for nearly an hour and safely took me to the hotel for the first night.

I’ll definitely recommend Kilipath African Safari to my friends in China — they are reliable, caring, and truly professional.

Great 4-day Tanzanian Safari
5/5

We did a 4 day trip including Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater. There is a lot of driving involved and on bumpy roads but our guide, Chaz, did an amazing job! We did the budget safari which included a night in a lodge and 2 nights camping in the national parks. Catering was great and tasty. And the camp sites had good facilities. We really enjoyed being in a tent with the noises of nature! Kilipath kept in contact and were very responsive and kind! We’d highly recommend!

Amazing tour company!
5/5

I contacted Kilipath after searching for tours in the Serengeti via Safaribookings. I requested an inquiry and got a perfect e-mail from Lydia. The amount of information was quite extensive and clear. I replied to ask for some different options and all replies were really quick and clear. The responses were superfriendly and they try to accommodate everything needed to have a great safari. I received multiple messages with pictures and videos about the tour and what to expect. Although it felt a little 'in my face', communications were friendly and not pushy.

After arrival at the airport, I got picked up by Lydia and the driver. They brought me to my hotel and I got a briefing about the tour. I would join a group from another company (Go Serengeti African Tours) and all was perfect! Great driver, good meals, accommodation (budget camping) was good. Couldn't wish for more. After the tour, Lydia and the driver brought me back to the airport. All was really convenient! There was a problem with the payment, but this was fixed quickly as well.
