John should be awarded for being simply the best!
Took a 4-day Safari with John and Chef Mami. Honestly, best money ever spent on an amazing overall experience from start to finish! John Wilber above and beyond to ensure each day was majestic and really went out of his way to create a truly memorable experience!
I wish there were more John’s in the world and Mountain Warriors is lucky to have a one of a kind guide! Highly recommend him as you will wish you stayed longer! Asante John!

This year for my birthday, I traveled to Tanzania for a dream vacation that included a four-day safari, and I couldn’t be happier that John was our tour guide. From the moment my husband and I met him, we knew we were in for a fantastic experience! John was incredibly personable, and his enthusiasm was infectious. Throughout the four days, he was attentive and shared an impressive wealth of knowledge. Despite it being the low season, we saw an incredible variety of animals, and the experience was truly beyond my expectations. Amazing experience with guide John and chef Miriam
We had such a fun and amazing time during our unforgettable 3-day safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with John and Miriam.
John’s great energy created a good atmosphere right from the start and ensured we had a great time together as a group. He was both knowledgeable and deeply passionate, making sure we had an unforgettable experience. He took the time to ask which animals interested us the most and did everything he could to find them for us. He was always ready to answer any questions.
Miriam made the best meals for us, and I really enjoyed having lunch in the park and dinner at the campsite. She is very warm-hearted, and it was a pleasure to hear about her experiences as a chef. A special mention for the pancakes she made—I loved them!
In Serengeti, we spotted giraffes, zebras, gazelles, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, lions, hyenas, warthogs, a cheetah, and various birds. In addition to these, we spotted a rhino, a serval cat, hippos, and many flamingos... Read more in Ngorongoro Crater.
I can’t decide which was my favorite moment—spotting a pride of 18 lions or witnessing the breathtaking scenery while driving at sunset and seeing a group of giraffes.
I highly recommend Mountain Warriors with John and Miriam to everyone. It was truly an unbeatable experience and one I will always remember. Just be prepared—it will steal your heart!

Great experience in Ngorongoro
We had a great time on a one-day safari to Ngorongoro. Loveness organised everything well and was easy to communicate with. Our guide and driver Innocent was knowledgeable, service-minded and experienced, giving us a memorable day in the park. Everything went smoothly and was very good value for money. Highly recommended.

Our two day safari with mountain warriors and John was amazing, we had so much fun and John was a great guide. The food was also amazing same as the hotel. Also the price was great and we saved a lot of money compared to the other safari offers we got. Would definitely book with them again!:)

Great experience
All in all, it was a good trip. Everything was done to make the safari as good as possible. There was a misunderstanding but this was cleared up well, as I said everything possible was done to make someone feel good and also to clear up the misunderstanding and everything possible was done to make a good experience. Absoutly recommendable I am glad that we booked our safari here

Unforgettable Safari Experience in Tanzania
Our safari tour through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was an absolutely incredible experience! We were lucky enough to see the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and even a rhino—which made the trip even more special.
The accommodations were excellent, offering both comfort and a real safari feeling. Every lodge and camp we stayed in was well-maintained, with great service and delicious food.
A big highlight of our trip was our guide, John. He took great care of us, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He had a great sense of humor, which made the long drives fun, and his English skills made communication easy. Plus, he knew a lot about the wildlife and the landscapes, which made the experience even more interesting.

The stand out thing about our safari was the food provided by Chef Miriam! Everyday she blew us alway with healthy fresh cuisine in the most wonderful locations whilst out on safari! I wish I could take her home with me! A truly excellent professional.

Excellent and joyful 3-day safari with John
I just came back from a 3-day safari through the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, and it was an unforgettable experience. Not only did we get to see the famous Big 5, but we also encountered zebras, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, and many more incredible animals. The wildlife encounters were beyond anything I had ever imagined, and the landscapes were absolutely stunning.
Our guide, John, made the experience even more special. He was incredibly friendly, funny, and experienced , with a deep understanding of the animals and the ecosystem. His experience was shown as he safely navigated us through some very muddy and challenging roads, ensuring that we were comfortable and secure the whole time.
The accommodations were so nice, with both offering great comfort and stunning views of the surrounding nature. The food was tasty, with delicious meals that fueled us throughout the day.
The only slight hiccup in the process was the pre-safari organization, as... Read more there were some changes to the accommodations due to seemingly spontaneous price increases, even though we had already made our deposit. However, the communication throughout this process was always prompt, friendly, and professional, so we were able to agree.
Overall, this safari was an incredible adventure, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true taste of Africa’s wildlife. If you’re lucky enough to have John as your guide, you’re in for an even better experience!
