the best guide and journey, it's our lucky to choose moutain warriors!!!
We chat with 10+ groups when we plan this africa journey, and the moutain warriors always reply very quickly, and the pdf is the MOST DETAILD AND LOGICAL. we don't have enough time, and the mountain warriors is the ONLY group can take us to Kilimanjoro in 5th day and arrived the madara hut(other company think it's impossible).
Our safari guide MBWANA is the BEST guide in the world, at the start he asked us which animals so he can pay more attention to find them, and we tell him we like every animals . So in our 4 days safari in serengati and engrongor,WANA try his best to show us more and more animals,we know more than 70 animals !!! and we really enjoy it! also,WANA is a very knowledgable and experienced ,he can recoganzize every animals(although maybe a small bird)and show us in the book. he is very friendly with other rangers, they share messages in video, and help tourists find more animals. we really miss the day with WANA.
Our moutain guide SAM is a gold guide with 2-years work experience. we only have 1 day in Kilimanjoro, but we arrived in madara hut,see the peak and go back in 4pm. on the road to airport,we see the wholo Kilimanjoro and take the best photo! !!
Our zanzibar dolphin guide is a cool guy and patient,he always sad hakuna matata and make us happy,he have a very good taset in music.
IN THE WHOLE trip , the accomodation and the food are always better than my expectations, and the water、beer、wine is always local and have a good taste. Every day we eat full、sleep good and have good memory. LOVENESS is a good boss and always keep in touch with us online, she arrange everything comfortable and successful.
In the end, I want to say :it's our lucky to choose moutain warriors and meet so many good people in Africa,I will recommand to my friends and all the tourist who have a plan to travel AFRICA. thanks for the moutain warriors!thank you very much!!!

They take their clients serious.
This will be an extensive review as our experience with mountain warriors has been with varying success. However, we would recommend them, as despite some things not working out the way planned, they did everything possible to correct what went wrong and saved our safari due to the extra efforts done. I think this shows that they take their clients and their feedback serious and has them put their priorities right.
Booking process was good, the agent has been responsive and helpful. After confirming and making a down payment communication stayed good untill we arrived. We had 2 days in Arusha, where we planned to do some sightseeing tours. However the agent wanted to come by when we stayed at the hotel, to do a briefing and make the remaining payment (for which we preferred to do this with the termina, due to the lower charges).
The agent however on the first day changed the meeting time several times, to then cancel the appointment, so we waited for nothing at the hotel and lost a day in which we could go for a tour close to the city. This mend the next day we did not get the chance to do a tour, as she would pass by. That's why we planned to do things on our own instead as the tours left early morning. She however that day came 2.5 hours late, again keeping us at the hotel (we had even proposed to pass by your office to arrange the payment). This mend that 2 days in Arusha, we did not get further than the city centre. What wondered me even more, was that the other people of our tour paid when we gathered at your office for the tour. In regards to payment I find it a bit weird one is charged in dollar, and if you want to pay in the local currency you are converted from tbe dollar amount at buying tmrate, making you pay even more (but as we are not from the US, also dollar charge makes no sense).
The same night, pickup time was changed 3 times. As was the itinerary we booked changed last minute. We booked a tour from Arusha, starting at Tarangire, which would mean a few hours drive from Arusha, and then a full day safari plus in the evening already moving towards our next destination; Serengeti (via Ngorongoro). This would leave the next day to drive into Serengeti ik the morning, have the afternoon for game drive, sleep, have a morning game drive and move to Ngorongoro in the evening for the night and a day game drive the next day, leaving enough time to get back to Arusha.
Instead, we now spent a full day driving to the campsite, where (as we heard on the way) we had to be at 18.00. We left late, according to the driver, and therefore the was little to no time for game drive that afternoon. What makes it extra frustrating, is that for pickup at our hotel, the pickup was an hour late, and knowing we should be at the campsite by 18.00, they should have organised an earlier departire to allow the game drive time that was promised in the itenary.
The following day the game drive was perfect, only thing strange for us was that some people in our vehicle had a visit to a traditional village visit included already, and we rather had the option to wait in the car or join at paid expenses. This might be something that should be mentioned in the program prior, In stead of on the spot. Also, we have had 5 souvenir stops along the 4 day drive, all at places that felt like tourist traps (extremely high prices and specific tactics used to sell items)
The third day is where we had the main issues, the company promised a full day game drive, however as the drives had to bring some people in our group, who booked another package, back to Arusha, our tour was cut short by him after about 4 hours. With only 3 full days of game drive in the planning, having what feels like a second half day day taken was not what we where happy about. We however indicated this directly to the agency, and despite the fact that the day itself there was not much they could do but drop us at the hotel around 3, they did so a lot of extra effort making things right the next day. They arranged a seperate driver to come and pick us up, had a private tour (with the 3 from our group), could determine times and the way we spend time in the park at animals oyraelf, and had the best guide possible with Kefas Guiding us. He was passionate and very knowledgeable, on tim of that we where lucky with what we saw which also added to the experience. Furthermore upon arrival they agreed to their mistake and came with a partial compensation. As explained by them it was die to the high season and them having to work with external contractirs in stead of their own people, like Kefas who we had on the final day. Given how good the last day was (and assuming this is their standard), and the fact they take our complain serious and came with solutions, shows they take their work serious and want only the best. We think that it shows they are reliable and therefore deserve our recommendation. We do hope that will be more clear in their communication. How shared tours are out together, as well as the entrybtickets and relates times guests have in the parks, as this is something that impacts your trip. Overall, the service and amenities offered, combined with their openness for feedback during the trip and efforts done to live up the expectations makes us get back to them if we do a next trip!

Don't look further. These guys are the best in terms of price vs quality
Did a 4-day Safari and a 6-day Kilimanjaro (Machame) with these guys. They seem to be a smaller company, but that is the positive side of it. They reply fast, remember what your questions or concerns were. So you don't get the feeling of some big travel agency where several people reply to your emails not knowing what the previous one promised.
If you go for the Kilimanjaro - definitely ask for SAM as a guide, JUSTIN as the asistent guide and OBAMA as the chef.
This team makes it an EXPERIENCE and not a struggle. All of us made it to the top enjoying it.
Cannot recommend them more. We really enjoyed it thanks to them.

unforgettable memories of Safari tour and experience the Materuni Falls at Chemka Hot Springs
June 2024
It was a trip that I have never experienced before and that I will never experience again. Especially, the safari tour was very reliable and worry-free because of the kind explanation and the considerate Victor. The company president, Gasto, provided strong support behind the scenes and even if the plan suddenly went wrong, he suggested a way out so that I could do everything I could without any problems. I was really impressed by the view and facilities of the accommodations. I went on my honeymoon and received congratulations and it was an unforgettable memory. I recommend it.

Safari Experience in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro
We recently went on a 5-day safari with Mountain Warriors. From the initial communication, the team was prompt and thorough in answering all our questions. Rosemary was kind and diligent, helping us find the perfect option within our budget and ensuring everything was well-organized.
Tanzanian nature and landscapes are stunning, and we were able to see the big five (plus lots of zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles and many other beautiful animals)! We had a couple of issues with our jeep but we were aware that it could happen, running on those bumpy roads... anyway we found a mechanic inside the park who fixed it, and this was also part of an unforgettable and truly adventurous experience!
The accommodations far exceeded our expectations. We opted to stay in lodges, and it was the perfect choice. After long days of adventure, it was wonderful to enjoy hot showers, comfortable beds and satisfying dinners! The food indeed was very good and abundant, including the lunch boxes they prepared for us.
We had a memorable trip and hope to come back to see the other parks of Tanzania soon in the future!

Meru Waterfall and Arusha National Park - what two great day trips
During our stay in Arusha, we decided to visit the less-visited hotspots in Tanzania, such as the Meru Waterfall and Arusha National Park, each on a day trip. And we were overwhelmed by the beautiful nature along the river to the waterfall not far from the city. I recommend this day trip to anyone who is in Arusha and wants to enjoy the nature nearby - a little paradise not far from Arusha.
Arusha National Park is equally stunning. Getting so close to the animals on a hike at the foot of Mount Meru is indescribable and unforgettable. The pictures speak for themselves. The picnic at Lake Momella in the national park was the crowning glory of the day. What a wonderful place. Again, I can only recommend everyone to visit this beautiful spot.
The excursions were super well prepared with snacks and drinks and our guide was so friendly and funny, explained everything to us and answered all our questions - he was also a great photographer 🥰 Thanks for that and to the team from Mountain Warriors Tours and Safaris who made this experience possible for us.

Excellent service
I took 4 days 3 nights Safari tour. I brought a big luggage since I had stayed for a week for business purpose. There's a misunderstanding from my side, I asked to put the bag in their office, I thought it would be the same as the accommodation. Apparently, it was about 5 hour (?) drive. I knew it when I arrived at the accommodation, with no spare clothes. But, Mountain Warrior decided to bring my bag along from Arusha to the campsite. It was very nice of them.
Usman, our guide and driver, had very sharp eyes that he could see and identify animals from afar without the binoculars. We could see the big 5, although Rhino could only be seen from far. We took many good pictures during the tour.
Mariam, the chef who cooked us the meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, has provided us with delicious meals that I kept my stomach full after every meal.
My only suggestion, if possible, is to choose a better location for the second night (first campsite) because it had lack of facilities.
But, overall, it was a wonderful and well-organized trip!

Amazing experience
We had a great 3 days safari with Mountain Warriors.
Everything is well organized by the agency. We faced some changes in the program but the agency arranged everthing for us perfectly.
The safari itself was great and we've seen all the animals !
We were sleeping in tents, which is a very "adventurous" experience, but Mountain warriors provided everything to make it confortable.
We recommend it 100% !

Professional, friendly, and enthusiastic.
Put the most important thing first, I highly recommend Mountain Warriors team, a conscientious and responsible local company. They responded promptly during the initial communication and provided very complete answers to all our questions. During our 5-day safari, our guide, "Mali", is a very experienced professional with 20 years of experience. He gave professional explanations on how to find animals and understand their habits. With Mali's help, we successfully saw the "Big Five". We even saw a lioness walking on the grassland with two little lions. Most importantly, the hotel we stayed at far exceeded our expectations. It was exceptional, both in terms of accommodation and food, making me feel like it should be a luxurious experience. We enjoyed ourselves from morning to night every day. Of course, I suggest everyone bring high-quality binoculars, masks, power banks, and lots of snacks. Because we often encounter enthusiastic children along the way, and you can share snacks with them. I have a small suggestion for the travel agency: since purchasing a SIM card at the airport can be expensive, I wonder if our enthusiastic travel agency could help us get a cheaper SIM card the night before, which would also solve the internet access problem for tourists. Lastly, I recommend everyone to choose Mountain Warriors again.
