Unforgettable Kilimanjaro Climb with Kisaza – Highly Recommended!
We recently climbed Kilimanjaro via the 8-day Lemosho route with Kisaza, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care made this challenging journey smooth and truly unforgettable.
Our guides Michael and Ezekiel were incredible—knowledgeable, supportive, and always attentive to our safety and well-being. They paced the trek perfectly, ensuring we acclimatized properly, and their encouragement kept us motivated, especially on summit night. The entire team, from porters to the cook, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and in good spirits.
The food was surprisingly delicious and varied, giving us the energy needed for the long days of trekking. The equipment and tents provided were high quality, keeping us warm and comfortable even in the harsh conditions higher up.
What really stood out was the team spirit and positive atmosphere Kisaza created. It felt like more than just a guided trek—it was an experience we shared with a fantastic group of people.

A Kilimanjaro Climb We Will Never Forget!
The Kisaza Adventures team made our Kilimanjaro climb via the Machame Route an experience of a lifetime! We felt supported, motivated, and well-fed throughout the entire 6-day journey.
Our guides, Michael and Francis, were simply the best. Their patience, encouragement, and expertise kept us going, making sure we were safe and strong enough to reach the summit. Their belief in us made all the difference!
The food was beyond expectations—chef Louis prepared delicious and nutritious meals every day, even accommodating my vegetarian diet and food intolerances without a problem. Having such amazing food in a camping setup was a luxury!
What really stood out, though, was the kindness and dedication of the entire crew. Every single member of the team contributed to making our journey smooth and enjoyable. David, with his morning wake-up service delivering hot tea and coffee to our tent, made us feel like royalty!

Fantastic!
I can recomend Kisaza tours from the very bottom of my heart.
Michael and Francis, our guides to climb the Kilimanjaro, were friendly, proactive, patient and giving us the power boost to arrive to the summit.
Louis our chef, prepared every day 3 fantastic menus ( brakefast, lunch and dinner) and suprised us how good you can cook doing a 6 days hike. He didn't repeat one single menu and gave us the good taste of tansania every day ( also cooking two menus, one with meat and one vegetarian for my girlfriend)
The crew was very friendly helping us in every circumstances. Dave, wakes us up with a bed tea, and after we left, the crew packed the tents and before we reached the final destination of every day, they were all there waiting for us with a big smile and everything ready.
Last but not least, all this coudn't happen with the perfect planing and organisation of Steven from Kisaza. He was answering every question fast and providing us proactive solution for our questions.
Kisaza is the provider to chose for your experiance to get to the summit of the Kilimanjaro.

My friend and I did the Kilimanjaro hike via the Lemosho route to ensure the best possible acclimatisation which worked wonders for us.
To start things off:
I can wholeheartedly recommend Kisaza tours because we had:
- a private tour with experienced guides who were able to adapt to our needs
- best value for money
- excellent food (vegetarian option possible without a lack of quality or variety)
- a private toilet
- a wonderfully kind and competent team (everyone gave his best to make sure we were having the best experience possible)
- a perfectly timed summit day with a breathtaking sunrise
I can honestly say that I have nothing to complain about after 7 days of hiking which says everything about the commitment of our team and the quality of service provided by Kisaza Tours.

The best tour company out there!
The organization and operation of the tour by Kisaza was absolutely amazing and left nothing to be desired!
From the included airport pickup two days before the start to the drop off at the complementary hotel after the 7 day tour, everything went as smoothly as it possibly could have.
Steven even came to the hotel just to greet us the night we arrived, followed by a professional briefing and checking of the equipment the next day together with our two guides. During the tour, the whole team was super friendly, professional, and helpful. Every time we arrived to a new camp, the tent was already up and shortly after, we were served an always delicious and fresh meal. When we were just hanging out and relaxing after the day‘s hike, the team also regularly offered snacks such as popcorn as well as tea/coffee, which we considered very thoughtful!
Every night after dinner, our two guides checked on us and our wellbeing and gave a briefing on the next day. They planned everything according to our preferences and pace, which was especially great on the summit day (or rather night), where we arrived perfectly for sunrise at Uhuru Peak. As this surely was not the case for many other people summiting, this can be considered one of the most outstanding perks of going with Kisaza!
We were overall more than satisfied with Kisaza and couldn’t recommend the company more! There wasn’t a single thing we could have complained about and the price is an absolute steal compared to many other companies, especially considering the outstanding performance and service provided by the whole team.
We also climbed Mount Meru with Kisaza last year by the way, which was just as perfect as the Kilimanjaro tour this time. So all in all, there is absolutely no reason to hesitate to book your tour with Kisaza!

Reliable and attentive
We did the 7-day Machame hike... Which we decided to decrease to six (as we learned we're just not campers) for my husband's 49+1 birthday. The Kisaza team really celebrated the event for him in a surprising way. Michael and Ezekiel were our trek guides and they took great care of us from the beginning. They clearly knew I was the liability and they stayed by my side. Michael prepared us at night for the next day's hike and Ezekiel often set the pace. We decided not to summit because I was suffering from altitude sickness but they continued the trip just as encouraging. We'd undoubtedly take them again, if for some reason we wanted to camp!

I chose this company because of the possibility of paying for the tour by debit card, attractive price and the way of communicating with me (very polite, quick answers). The hotel, which was included in the tour for the first and last night, was normal with a beautiful view from the window of the city and mountains. The sunrises are very beautiful! The team that accompanied us to Kilimanjaro consisted of strong, young, talented guys who also tried to please and make our ascent comfortable. Every day they asked about our health, whether we liked the food. Guide Michael is very kind and sweet! I will miss this period of my life, the city of Moshi, the people. Our trek to mount Meru with Kisaza was amazing, all the team was really professionnal and so so nice
Our trek with Kisaza was a great experience. Beforehand: Very professional organization with the manager Steven, who answered all our questions.
Our guide Erick was great from start to finish.
He came to our hotel the day before departure for a briefing on the program and to check our equipment and our bag. His advice was invaluable. and Kisaza even lent us pants which were very useful!
During: pick-up from the hotel on the morning of departure. Everything was planned with a picnic for lunch after the road. The whole team was really caring, and very nice. The porters, Ali the cook William and once again Eric, who speaks very good English and is very professional.
He even does a medical check in the evening at the camp above at 3500m, with oxygen level and pulse control, which can be really useful for Kili I imagine. In short, I recommend without hesitation!!
The 3rd day, after the descent from the summit. We walked in the rain for several hours (Kisaza doesn't control the weather ^^), we had to stay overnight at the 1st camp at 2500m but were quite tired and soaked. After a brief discussion, Erick and Steven arranged everything in a few minutes so that we could return to our hotel that same evening. Thanks again, it was perfect!

Very professional and great service
I did Kilimanjaro lemosho route with Kisaza and it was truly an amazing experience.
It started with Steven , the manager who was providing excellent support from the time I contacted him till the end of the tour.
For the climbing itself Michael, the guide, was just perfect and a great companion for the walk and also taking great pictures and videos all the time.
The logistics and infra structure was close to a 5 star hotel I felt, with a big tent being readily setup already every day at camp arrival and Luis the cook preparing just amazing meals every day with an incredible variety.
He is a real chef de cuisine ! Alex was serving me the food and lots of Ginger tea (as I had caught a bit of cold before we started) very professionally.
And of course not to forget the porters David, Regan, Moses and Richard who carried all the stuff needed to provide such an experience.
