Great service and a wonderful safari trip overall!
Zambezi Safari & Travel helped us book a week-long trip to Zimbabwe in March, 2018 - the local (Vic Falls-based) agent, Chris, was great - he offered recommendations between different camps/lodges and worked with us to stay on budget and still fit in all the activities on our list. The booking process was easy and all questions were answered very promptly. We had an amazing safari trip and particularly loved staying at Gorges Lodge - the views and wonderful hospitality absolutely outweighed the 30-min travel distance to the Vic Falls park.

Attentive service and a top notch package
Even at very short notice, our agent organized a tailor made safari experience at five-star lodges in Botswana's national parks and nature reserves where we could experience the wildlife in their natural habitat. We reached the camps by plane that allowed for great views of the Delta and Kalahari. Two thumbs up!

Review of trip to Victoria Falls and Chobe Game Lodge
Planning with Zambezi was very easy, very accommodating, "last minute" changes made easily.
Everything went as discussed, with no delays.
Ilala Lodge was excellent, particularly the location. Sunset cruise was wonderful too, though not many animals.
One minor sanfu: we had wanted to be picked up at Ilala at 2pm for our drive to Chobe Game Lodge. They said that wasn't possible (something about the border being closed?), that we would have to leave at 11:30 or so. Later they agreed it was okay. Eventually we left a 1 pm, which actually got us to Chobe in time for the sunset river cruise (which turned out to be the only day we were there that they offered it).
Chobe Game Lodge was fantastic. We stated in the Honeymoon Suite, with plunge pool, and lots of space.
We were assigned the same guide for most all of our drives and river cruises. Her name is RB and she was terrific.
We saw most every game animal we wanted (including a leopard, for a brief few seconds). No zebras and hyenas this time.
Our one disappointment was the food, lunch and dinner. They seem to be able to get many different fresh food items so the production was disappointing, not what we should expect from a luxury lodge. Exception: breakfast was always good.

Zambezi listen to what you want and then deliver an amazing programme, this was my second booking.
The travel app from Zambezi was very useful. My tour operator contact Mark was always approachable and understood what type of safari I wanted to achieve, thank-you. The camps were up to date with ones travel plans and transfers and this was taken care of seemlessly. The hospitality was second to none and the accommodation was a excellent. The guides were professional and very knowledgeable, and they took time to learn what one was interested in seeming and doing. There was a variety of fauna to see. My programme was seamless and I was hosted extremely well on my game drives and water activities. I loved Shinde, a unique reserve with a private park and, variety of wildlife. It has a unique setting and wonderful people look after you.
I am already planning my next visit to Africa for 2019.

The Best!
This was the second time we booked with Zambezi and we couldn't be happier. The knowledge Mark and team have about pretty much the entire African continent is impressive. Mark always takes the time to get to know our preferences and what we like and (more importantly, what we dont). They wont try to oversell you and know that more expensive doesnt always mean better.
FOr our most recent trip to Serengeti in December, we trust Zambezi so much that we told them when we wanted to travel and where, and they planned everything for us - and that was that! I didnt even have to research anything, because I knew whatever Mark and team planned for us we'd like. And we did!
Looking forward to booking our next safari with Zambezi soon! We really cant think of booking our safari's with anyone else. Thanks to everyone at Zambezi for taking good care of us!

Great people to organize a safari, great attention to detail, everything happened as planned.
Although Zambezi Safari & Travel is based in England and I am in Australia; the communication and organisation was without problems and on arrival in Africa and during the safari everything was absolutely perfect. Top marks for the professional team at Zambezi Safari and Travel.
I received comprehensive briefing documents before departure and the whole safari happened as planned, exciting, adventurous, safe, problem free and a lot of fun.

Helpful People and the Experience of a Lifetime
The service when booking the trip was great, my contact answered all my questions and was very responsive. The reminders for when payment was due were also helpful. The service of the people running the rafting trip was also excellent, they were all very friendly and helpful and I was always confident that I was in good hands. My raft guide was Boyd, who was insane but very good at his job and very friendly, haha. Sven ran the entire show, and he and Scotty were patient and comforting and exciting guides. Plus, doing a 4-day rafting trip with total strangers is a great way to make friends with fascinating people from all over the world!
The trip itself was significantly more dangerous than I realized it would be, but that's the way of doing crazy things in nature. I wouldn't take back this experience for the world.

my eighteenth trip to Africa and it was the best trip yet!
My trip was outstanding in all respects. every aspect was well planned and first class and I had a wonderful guide that knew the country, history and culture making it all the more enjoyable. I had experiences that I will treasure the rest of my life and beyond the most optimistic expectations I had for my trip.

A trip of the most wonderful extraordinary
Zambezi put together a trip that literally has been a highlight of our lives. South luangwa park is the wild and nature preserved. There are no words to describe it really. Accommodating our dates and connecting with our son who is working in the park should have been a nightmare but Chris at Zambezi made it effortless for us. He put together a package that was wondrous and went out of his way to ensure that our son could spend some days with us. The bush camps are simply an experience extraordinaire. And Zambezi made it all work smoothly and answered all of our new to Africa questions. I can't recommmend them highly enough.
