The perfect trip
5/5

We had a wonderful 6-days trip toTarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We enjoyed it so much. Everything was perfectly organised and well prepared! The accommodations (tented camps) were just beautiful and with a special flair. Beatus is a very good driver so we always felt super safe. His knowledge about animals and nature is impressive and always fun to listen to! We loved our Safari trip and could not be more satisfied. Thank you for the great time and beautiful experience!

A Gem
5/5

Had the pleasure of experiencing Tanzania with Beatus.
It was incredible.
We LOVE cultural experiences. And he created a bespoke itinerary just for us.
We are still friends on FB and communicate regularly 2 years later.
So grateful for my time there.

Smart, experienced & truly passionate guides - Easy and direct booking - Excellent value for money
5/5

We have just completed our 10-day safari in July. Four of us with Beatus, we covered a long and fantastic itinerary of 1600 km, including all the major NPs up to the incredible Mara River in the north of the Serengeti during the migration period (and not just the central and southern Serengeti, where many companies will limit themselves without necessarily telling you).
So many species, in such numbers... Our advice is to trust your guide and let nature come to you. Without trying to see absolutely everything, you'll end up seeing it all anyway, as long as your guide is passionate and truly experienced.
« Passionate Guides » has made all this possible. Knowing that beyond his job as a safari leader, Beatus also has a deep knowledge of nature in general and of animals in particular, acquired from father (who was a veterinarian working with the Masai) to son.
First of all, we expressed our wishes for these ten days and then trusted the proposed itinerary, which turned out to be perfectly adapted to the movements of the animals according to the season and the places visited.
The most interesting places are not necessarily the most frequented, and we often went off the beaten track where few vehicles actually went. With Beatus, you'll see real Masai people along the way, where you least expect it. A thorough knowledge of this infinite nature and a good pair of binoculars are the best allies of the best guides, enabling you to see sights that others won't have the chance to see (the radio between guides alone isn't enough and may lead you to the easiest places full of 4X4s).
We opted not to use an intermediary tour operator in order to better control the quality of the service offered (an intermediary will often book a guide who is available and whom she doesn't necessarily know, which can lead to disappointment, as some tourists have told us afterwards).
In the case of Passionate Guides, the advice given prior to booking is relevant and motivated by the quality of the customer's experience. An on-site company knows the local weather conditions, access options and animal movements week by week better than an intermediary. Their advice, if it's aimed at providing the best experience for you, is valuable and decisive. The value for money is therefore unbeatable. It's easy to pay a deposit. No surprises when it comes to organization or safety. No surprises on accommodation reservations (ask for advice on the level of comfort to suit your tastes and budget). The lunch offered is much better and friendlier than the usual lunch boxes.
Our guide was able to adapt perfectly to our group, leaving time for photos, observation, silence... he is not intentionally directive with a view to systematically returning earlier or by this or that route... if you know what we mean... In short, it was just a perfect and unforgetable experience thanks to Beatus who deserve the company motto "Passionate guides".

A wonderful experience
5/5

My experience was wonderful. I was traveling alone and visited the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, as well as the National Parks of Lake Manyara and Tarangire. Not only was I able to enjoy the beauty of these ecosystems and their representative fauna and flora, but I also enjoyed excellent organization from this company. The guide was excellent, always attentive and on top of everything, very kind, and the organization was also excellent. Highly recommended.

True authentic experience with Passionate Guides Tanzania and Fahad photography!
5/5

I booked a 4-days northern Tanzania safari on my own at Passionate Guides due to limited time. I can highly recommend booking your safari trip at Passionate Guides, whether it be for short or long duration, whether it be solo or in (small) group. Furthermore I can highly recommend booking the photographer Fahad Fuad (https://www.fahadfuad.co.tz/) if you want nice and professional pictures. He is a true artist when it comes to wildlife and travel photography. It is not always easy to travel alone in a country you don’t know, and especially for this, Beatus the owner of PGT accompanied me during the whole trip and made sure I got a personalized, professional but warm treatment. This trip has been by far the best experience of my life in terms of booking with tour operators and I felt surrounded by family/friends rather than strangers. They live up to their name; which originated from feedback of clients. Booking with Passionate Guides is worth every single penny of your investment and if I could give one advice it is to book your trip as long as you can. If I can give another advice it is go for Fahad if you want the best pictures. They will listen to you, adapt to your needs and make sure you get the best experience and capture. I decided to listen to advice instead of starting the trip with a lot of demands and expectations and I would recommend this approach to anyone. Passionate Guides is not just there to organize and plan, but they have true expertise that will make you discover the highlights of your trip. If you want a true authentic experience instead of a commercial tourist trip, then go for PGT. Big warm thanks to all of the team who I consider family now.

Very professional, organized and friendly
5/5

We booked a 10 day private safari from Nairobi to Arusha. From the first time we had contact with Beatus and his team they were very quick to respond and always very helpful. They adapted the itinerary to our wishes and also gave us great tips about how to improve our plan due to the season.
Everything always went to plan and they did everything to accommodate us! Nothing was too much trouble for them. Even our delayed arrival in Nairobi due to changed flights.
Both guides, Robert in Kenya and Derek in Tanzania went above and beyond to make every day special and to make sure we see as many animals as possible! The tented camps and lodges were all very pleasing and the food tasty. We even got a cooked, warm lunch instead of only a picknick box like most of the other companies. All in all it was an experience we will never forget and we highly recommend Passionate Guides for your safari adventure!

Excellent climb up Kilimanjaro - Lemosho route
5/5

Passionate Guides did a wonderful job leading us on a 8-day Lemosho route up Mount Kilimanjaro. Before departure, they made sure we had packed the right gear and along the way, they took great care to continually monitor how we were feeling to give us the best experience on the climb. Proud to say our group all successfully made it to the summit! Our guides Keddy and Florian were very knowledgeable about the mountain and Tanzanian history. They took time each night to share stories with us, give us a briefing of the next day, and answer any of our questions. The porters and staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. The food was tasty and filling for the climb, we were super impressed with what the chef could cook while on the mountain! For a first-time trip to Tanzania, we had a very welcoming and comfortable experience and absolutely will be recommending Passionate Guides to friends and family. Lemosho route is great for those who want to ensure a high chance of making it to the top of the mountain as you have a couple extra days in the middle for acclimatization to the elevation compared to other shorter routes. Summit night is a tough hike but our guides kept our spirits high and we were so grateful to get to celebrate with them at Uhuru peak! Thank you Passionate Guides!

Amazing safari experiences!!! :)
5/5

Our guides (through Passionate Guides) David in the Kenya portion of our safari and Othman in our Tanzania part were beyond accommodating, generous, and welcoming! They know the parks like the back of their hand and all the best spots where the animals may be hiding. I learned so much about the animal behavior and characteristics through the guides and appreciated their knowledgeable and thorough commentary! Additionally, when we had questions about local currency, paying habits and amounts, and customs both of our guides were extremely helpful and clear! I can’t imagine a better experience that worked perfectly for me and my family. It was an unforgettable trip!

Passionate Guides was exceptional at creating the perfect experience based on our interests.
5/5

We will be eternally grateful for Passionate Guides’ help in creating such incredible memories for our family. Africa truly is the soul of the world and we are so privileged that Beatus, Othman and David shared it with us. Beatus really listened to what was important to us when he designed the itinerary. We loved being integrated with nature at the tented camps. The service was excellent and the staff at every lodge made us feel at home. Our game drives were non-stop discovery of every bit of wildlife we could have hoped for. David (Kenya) and Othman (Tanzania) were experts - sharing their knowledge and knowing exactly where to find elusive animals. Wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you so much!!
