Unforgettable journey
5/5

I went on a 7-day safari that allowed me to navigate the great parks such as the Serengeti; our guide Beatus, head of Passionate Guides (because there are other guides too in this friendly family company) was simply exceptional because he took the time to explain to us (my family and friends) with patience and pedagogy everything about the flora and fauna.
His kindness and erudition are impressive. His experience of over 10 years enabled him to show us all the Big 5 and much more.
He drove very smoothly and the Toyota 4x4 was very comfortable and clean.
I loved the meals, fine local cuisine.
He was able to guide us in our choice of accommodation and we were delighted each time we discovered a new lodge.
Beatus is a reassuring guide because he has a great deal of experience and you can feel it.
He also understands French very well and knows how to explain in our language. Of course, his English is perfect.
We shared a lot and laughed together at dinner. Perfect if you're looking for a relationship that's more friendly than commercial.
Contact, negotiation and pre-trip advice go smoothly, and it's easy to build a tour under these conditions. What's more, the price for this safari was far more attractive than the competition for the quality offered, so I wholeheartedly recommend Passionate Guides.

Smart, experienced & truly passionate guides - Easy and direct booking - Excellent value for money
5/5

We have just completed our 10-day safari in July. Four of us with Beatus, we covered a long and fantastic itinerary of 1600 km, including all the major NPs up to the incredible Mara River in the north of the Serengeti during the migration period (and not just the central and southern Serengeti, where many companies will limit themselves without necessarily telling you).
So many species, in such numbers... Our advice is to trust your guide and let nature come to you. Without trying to see absolutely everything, you'll end up seeing it all anyway, as long as your guide is passionate and truly experienced.
« Passionate Guides » has made all this possible. Knowing that beyond his job as a safari leader, Beatus also has a deep knowledge of nature in general and of animals in particular, acquired from father (who was a veterinarian working with the Masai) to son.
First of all, we expressed our wishes for these ten days and then trusted the proposed itinerary, which turned out to be perfectly adapted to the movements of the animals according to the season and the places visited.
The most interesting places are not necessarily the most frequented, and we often went off the beaten track where few vehicles actually went. With Beatus, you'll see real Masai people along the way, where you least expect it. A thorough knowledge of this infinite nature and a good pair of binoculars are the best allies of the best guides, enabling you to see sights that others won't have the chance to see (the radio between guides alone isn't enough and may lead you to the easiest places full of 4X4s).
We opted not to use an intermediary tour operator in order to better control the quality of the service offered (an intermediary will often book a guide who is available and whom she doesn't necessarily know, which can lead to disappointment, as some tourists have told us afterwards).
In the case of Passionate Guides, the advice given prior to booking is relevant and motivated by the quality of the customer's experience. An on-site company knows the local weather conditions, access options and animal movements week by week better than an intermediary. Their advice, if it's aimed at providing the best experience for you, is valuable and decisive. The value for money is therefore unbeatable. It's easy to pay a deposit. No surprises when it comes to organization or safety. No surprises on accommodation reservations (ask for advice on the level of comfort to suit your tastes and budget). The lunch offered is much better and friendlier than the usual lunch boxes.
Our guide was able to adapt perfectly to our group, leaving time for photos, observation, silence... he is not intentionally directive with a view to systematically returning earlier or by this or that route... if you know what we mean... In short, it was just a perfect and unforgetable experience thanks to Beatus who deserve the company motto "Passionate guides".

A Gem
5/5

Had the pleasure of experiencing Tanzania with Beatus.
It was incredible.
We LOVE cultural experiences. And he created a bespoke itinerary just for us.
We are still friends on FB and communicate regularly 2 years later.
So grateful for my time there.

The perfect trip
5/5

We had a wonderful 6-days trip toTarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We enjoyed it so much. Everything was perfectly organised and well prepared! The accommodations (tented camps) were just beautiful and with a special flair. Beatus is a very good driver so we always felt super safe. His knowledge about animals and nature is impressive and always fun to listen to! We loved our Safari trip and could not be more satisfied. Thank you for the great time and beautiful experience!
