Fantastic!
It was a wonderful experience! I can’t hardly describe how special this was. Everything was well organised; transfers to and from the airport, the safari itself, the guide all week and if there were any problems they were resolved in no time. Viktor (tour operator) and Samuel (our guide) were extremely involved and friendly, very nice. The safari was fantastic, I can't say anything else. I will really recommend this!

Amazing experience during 11days in Kenya.
Thanks for my guide Nick giving us an incredible memory in Africa. Me and my son were shocked everyday by the scene we saw. Thousands of wildebeests, the family of cheetahs and lions.Nick is an animal expert indeed.

Lack of attention to detail
I chose Jastro Safaris based on the fact that it had lots of great reviews. Victor reached out to me after I put in a quotation request and we had a detailed discussion on possible options for our safari. There were initial mistakes in his quotations that I pointed out and he fixed. I suggested places I would like to visit and expected practical advice given that I was travelling for the first time and the tour operator is meant to be the expert advising on what is best. First of all, I asked about travel time between places and was given inaccurate information. For example, I was advised that the travel time between Ol Pejeta to Masai Mara was 6 hours, when it fact it took us nearly 10 hours to make the journey. Next I was promised a stop over at Lake Nakuru which the driver did not do because he said there wasn't enough time. It seemed the driver and tour operator were not communicating. Overall, I would advise all people to ask Victor to spell out what is included in the quotation and what is not. We learned this the hard way. At least 3 game drives that were "included" in my package were not delivered because Victor did not check these details on his end. I was told I could not have a night game drive in Ol Pejeta because we were not staying in the conservancy - according to my original quotation, the night game drive was included. Then I was told I had to pay extra fees at Masai Mara National Park if I wanted to do a morning game drive - which according to my understanding was included in the initial quotation that was shared with me. Each time I raised a deviation from the original quotation, I was told by Victor he would check and get back to me assuring me that he would make sure I got my game drives added on at the end of my tour. However, the follow ups and corrections didn't happen. The follow up for the pending payment at the end of the tour on the other hand was very persistent with no acknowledgment of the need for rectification.

A travel company with no integrity
A very bad trip experience. Situation we met are as follows:
1. We have paid a 30% deposit, and when we arrived in Nairobi, we informed of the change of itinerary. Three of the five hotels in the itinerary were changed, and the price was 1/3 of the original hotel, and the difference was not refunded.
2. Modified the itinerary at will and canceled 3 morning cruises.
3. The driver and tour guide was not professional. Although we had paid a tip of US$40 per day, he was still angry with us when we pointed out that the trip was not in line with the itinerary.
We have also reported the above situation to Chinese tourists through the community Internet. We hope that Chinese tourists will not choose this company after seeing it.

1. You were notified earlier about all the changes of the hotels right before you got into the country, so your claim is malice. These hotels were Sentrim to Penety at Amboseli for only 1 night and Naivasha Sopa to Lake Naivasha resort for only 1 night too, and their STO rates served to us are the same.
2. You were too harsh to the tour guide claiming that you were also tour guides back in your country. The guide made several calls to inform the office about this, and the office reached back to you and you apologized. How was the supposed to work efficiently and you did not give room for this.
3. You were demanding for the morning game drivers and you only booked the hotels that were located outside the parks, that was not possible and you did not want to hear that.
We kindly request you to note the importance of proper communication and patience during execution of the safari. There may have been little hiccups during your safari and were were in a position to solve them if you could have given us that chance.

Bring a very bad experience to us!
1. After we confirmed the itinerary and paid the deposit, we received an email on the day of our arrival to change three hotels, among which Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, the most expensive hotel, was changed to Lake Naivasha Resort. A Poor travel experience
We had a total of six nights, and the hotel was changed three times in the last few hours before departure. The promised room was bad and no refund was given. The morning tour and lunch included in the quotation on the last day were not provided. Amazing and adventurous safari tour
I opted for Jastro Safaris for my adventure safari in Kenya. I must admit that I had a very good experience with Jastro. Mr. Victor of Jastro, a kind personality, gave all support and guidance for my visit. It was 7 days luxury tour to Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. All three places were fantastic, but Masai Mara was the best.
My tour guide Mr. Leyian was very supportive and he ensured that I am happy at all moments of the safari. I saw all Big 5 of Masai Mara. I got a great Masai friend.
I recommend Jastro Safaris to those who wish to take up this adventurous tour. Very reliable, good communication but bit expensive.

Outstanding Kenya Safari experience!
Our Kenya safari with Jastro safari was incredible. The 7 days itinerary was perfectly balanced, allowing us to see variety of animals and immerse ourselves in breathtaking landscapes. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about wildlife and local culture, adding so much depth to our experience. The accommodations were comfortable and authentic and provided nourishing food.
What impressed me about Jastro safari is their commitment and dedication to make the safari an amazing experience. They were quick to respond to our questions and to cater to our requests. Highly recommend for an unforgettable adventure!
