Unreliable
I was not picked up at the Nairobi Airport as promised. They did not have me stay in proper lodgings as promised.

1. Our driver was at the aiport waiting for you, he called you severally and you were not picking up your phone. This was not the company`s mistake.
2. We booked for the lodges that you paid for, and you assured us that you were satisfied with them.
3. We refunded you the money you used for hiring the taxi to the hotel, you forgot to mention it here.

Flexible and easy to customize your trip
I recently had the opportunity to visit Kenya and it was truly a wonderful experience. I was able to see all of the amazing animals that I had been dreaming of seeing. Jastro was very easy to communicate with and was able to customize our safari trip to fit our needs perfectly.

Ability to clearly understand customer needs and arrange accordingly.
1. Able to patiently listen to my needs, and timely feedback.
2. The overall tour was more in line with my expectations, but after all, traveling can not be a 100% satisfaction, there are always some hiccups, but in the end, the travel agency has to solve them.
3. I was very happy with our guide, Francis, and highly recommend him. In addition, Victor, the tour operator, was able to respond to our messages in real time.

Exciting Safari, seeing many animals and beautiful scenery
A very good trip, our designated hotel travel agency arranged everything for us, and the itinerary was also well planned. Our guide Jackson is very good. He is very familiar with the road and drives very well. His service is very good, he can arrange everything without you worrying. There is no lunch in Massamara and Amboseli, so he prepares boxed meals for us in the morning and packs his luggage in advance.

African Safari July 2024
We booked with Jastro Safaris a few months before travelling for our extended family of 9. Communication was via watsap. Always great at communicating and answered all my questions and tried to tailor the itinerary according to our needs. Prices were very competitive. We were met at the airport and taken to our accommodation. We stayed 2 nights in Nairobi, 4 nights in Masai Mara and 1 night in Lake Nakuru. Got to see all the big 5 animals close up which was amazing. Our driver Steve was really good and looked after us well. There were a few hiccups due to some of the bookings being done on incorrect dates (so recommend to double check this yourself before travelling) but this was rectified as best as possible. We had 9 of us in a tour van which was nice being all together but be wary unless you have very minimal luggage it may be better to split into 2 groups due to space. Overall a decent experience and the few issues that we did have we spoke to Jarred at the end and he took the feedback on board and tried to make things right.

The Safari Exceeded All Expectations! What an incredible experience 10/10
We booked a 5 day Safari with Jastro - including Masai Mara, Lake Nukuru and Lake Naivasha. From our original request to finalizing the booking the Jastro team was easy to work with and they were quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. They were very attentive and great to work with!
Our guide Nickson was incredibly knowledgeable and made our 5 day journey around Kenya very enjoyable. We got to see so many animals, including: Giraffe, Zebra, Lions, Lion Cubs, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Baboons, Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants, Jekylls, Dung Beetles, Gazelles, Antelopes, Mongoose, Impala, Hyena, Topi, Warthogs, Waterbuck, Secretary Bird, and even got lucky to witness Black Rhinos mating! All of our game drives were fruitful.
All of the lodges we stayed in were very nice and well appointed. The food was delicious and service top notch!
We will definitely be coming back and will be using Jastro and Nickson for our future trips to Kenya. We have already recommended them to our friends and family.

The tour operator was well organized and communicated well for us to have a low stress and very fun.
The safaris that we went on were totally awesome, there were a ton of animals that we were able to see close up, it felt like a true safari in the wilderness, and was well worth the value of the trip.

Jastro did a great job of communicating itinerary, transportation pickup and any changes that occurred…very responsive to needs without pressure.

A special thank you to John, our safari guide (driver). His knowledge of the park made a huge difference in our experience…finding animals is really luck, but his knowledge of the parts of the park they are more likely to be at times of day made a difference…also didn’t hurt that he has a network of friends he kept calling all day seeing if they found anything…then the call came that we were all hoping for…a spotting of the allusive and very rare black rhino came in…
