A Memorable Safari Experience with Kennafrica Adventures
We embarked on a 6-day adventure with Kennafrica in November 2023, exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve, Amboseli National Park, and Lake Nakuru National Park. Overall, I rate the experience 5 stars.
My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the well-planned itinerary and the breathtaking landscapes each park had to offer. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the expertise and kindness of our guide, Chege. His extensive knowledge about the parks, wildlife, and local culture added a rich layer to our journey, making it both educational and entertaining.
The accommodations at Serena Hotels were top-notch, enhancing our overall experience. The seamless blend of comfort and luxury provided a welcome retreat after adventurous days of exploration.
Kennafrica Adventures, with its stellar guide Chege and excellent choice of Serena Hotels, delivered a safari experience that left us with cherished memories. While there's always room for improvement, our journey was undeniably enjoyable.

Amazing tour Adventurers
Working with Kennafrica adventures was really amazing. They offered their services to us with excellent and timely response. Their services were good and pocket friendly right from accomodation, delicious meals and travel. I recommended their services.
Joseph the owner/ operator of Kennafrica does not operate his business in a professional manner.
Our group of 6 adults coming from Canada, booked and paid in full for a 5 day safari. The day prior to being picked up from our hotel we phoned, emailed and texted Joseph to confirm our pick-up time. We did not hear from him or anyone else from this company. The next morning we all got up early and waited in the lobby for a couple of hours until we came to the shocking realization that they were not going to show up. We returned to Canada and began reaching out to Joseph regarding getting our money back for the safari that never happened. So far we have received a portion of what we paid to Kennafrica Adventures. Promises were made from Joseph via email to refund us the remaining of the balance 2 weeks ago. We have not received the money nor have we heard from Joseph since the last email where he promised to pay the balance of $1300 US owed to us. We are very disappointed and cannot recommend that anyone book with this safari tour company.

Unforgettable Family Safari with Kennafrica Adventures
I can't express enough how thrilled my family and I were with the 5-day safari provided by Kennafrica Adventures. From the moment we embarked on this incredible journey, it was evident that we were in for something truly extraordinary.
Our adventure took us through the stunning landscapes of Amboseli National Park, the mesmerizing wonders of Masai Mara, and the tranquil beauty of Naivasha. Each day brought new experiences and breathtaking encounters with Kenya's remarkable wildlife.
What truly made this safari exceptional, though, was our tour guide, Ochieng Ochieng. He is more than just a guide; he's a remarkable person who went above and beyond to make our safari unforgettable. Ochieng's deep knowledge of the region's wildlife and culture added a whole new dimension to our trip. He effortlessly shared stories, insights, and a contagious enthusiasm that enhanced our understanding of this beautiful land.
Our family returned from this adventure with our hearts full of joy and our photo albums brimming with incredible memories. Kennafrica Adventures not only delivered on their promise of an exceptional safari but also created a bond with our family that we will cherish forever.
If you're considering a safari in Kenya, I wholeheartedly recommend Kennafrica Adventures. Our experience was beyond our wildest dreams, and I am incredibly grateful to Ochieng Ochieng and the entire Kennafrica team for giving my family and me a holiday filled with unforgettable moments.

Unreliable and unprofessional operator who doesn't stick to the marketed quote
Beforehand we did enjoy exploring Kenya and its wildlife. The parks (Ambosseli, Lake Nukuru and Masai Mara) were clean, astonishing and we had a great time discovering and learing about all the animals.
Nevertheless we would never recommend a safari with Kennafrica Adventures again because of our experience.
First of all the provided guide wasn't well-suited for the job. He couldn't provide any information about the nature or wildlife - he just kept on repeating every information the driver had already given us. Even worse he was basically having a wonderful vacation on our expense - having us take pictures of him, joining in on every adventure and even sleeping during safari (his working hours). We even told him that it was bothering us but there seemed to be no self-reflection.
The booked tour (quote) and the actual tour were two different things, we added some comments in the quote, as you can see in the photos. The worst part was that the fifth day of safari fell completly out. Without further notice Kennafrica Adventures decided to cancel the planned game drive. Because of this we missed out on a whole lot of possibilities to get to know Kenya's wildlife and nature.
As we addressed this issue we felt that Kennafrica Adventures used petty excuses and basically didn't handle the situation at all to our satisfaction. There was no support from our guide - he just handed over the phone instead of dealing with the situation or coming up with a solution. After discussing the issue with the company's manager for about 2-3 hours in the evening we negotiated a refund ($125), nothing compared to the lifetime experience we were missing out on - up to today we are still waiting to get this money back.
On top of that we agreed to at least go to a Masai village on day five, which was according to the quote already included. Arriving there we had to pay an entrance fee ($40) - again no support from our guide. He just assured us that we will get this money back with our refund - as said before we are still waiting.
The manager now even blocked us on WhatsApp and won't answer our mails. We are highly consindering to take legal actions against Kennafrica Adventures.
The only reason we regret giving a one star rate is our driver, Mungai. He was an exceptional tour guide, who taught us a lot about the nature and its wildlife. We even learned some Swahili. He made this whole safari worthwhile. We would always come back to do a safari with him but never if it's operated by Kennafrica Adventures.

Don’t book with Kennafrica - a possible SCAMMER!
When we booked, everything was supposed to be included (transport, accommodations, taxes and all activities. Once we were picked up, our driver said we had to pay park fees which aren’t cheap then upon checkout the hotel made us pay the remaining bill. Then had to go file a police report and still have yet to hear from him, Joseph Too. Luckily we still went but with all the added fees was not a fun surprise.
Don’t use him - go somewhere else to save you time and money!
