Outstanding guide, fantastic tour, Amazing number of wild animals &birds, use this company!
From the very first contact the company was quick in responding to everything. A fourteen day trip F a lifetime. Our driver/guide, Japheth was friendly, and knowledgeable. He knew where to find the animals...rhinoceros, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, hyena, elephants, water buffalo, lions, lionesses, lion cubs, zebras, giraffes, ostrich, wildebeest to name only a few. And, not only once did we see there great mammals, but from one game reserve to another Japheth found these mammals. Mixing some walks along with game drives provided a nice break from long days in our safari vehicle. A boat ride in lake Naivasha drew us close to hippos and birds in the wild. A stay at Elsamere Lodge (think of the movie Born Free and the cub lion Elsa was raised by Joy Adamson) where they served high tea on the lake and colobus monkeys squawked in the trees above us and on the roamed the grounds. Zebras and giraffes wandering though the grounds. Hippos out of the lake in the night to graze on the grass. And, a chance to visit the Sambura tribe, a Maasi tribe, Amboseli, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Nakuru and other game reserves. The owner contacted us frequently to ensure we were happy. He made suggestions for change to itinerary to improve our safari because animals may have migrated and he did not want us to miss anything. We were delighted with the changes. I cannot say e ought good things about this excursion. I highly recommend Kenya Walking Survival Safaris.

Dream come true!
My wife and I booked a 12 day safari with KWSS and everything was truly amazing
Our guide, Jeffet made the trip worth every penny. He went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
We did have some reservations about using a smaller company and sending our money to Africa, but if you are considering using KWSS, you will not be disappointed!!
Thank you Mr.Otieno for the trip of a lifetime

Great value, great experience
We had a great time on safari with Kenya Walking Survivors. Their drivers and guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. The food was good and filling! It was a good price too. When we talked with a man in Nairobi and told him how much we had paid, he told us to expect a crowded tour bus shared with other tourists. But he was wrong, we had a private tour in a van with a pop up roof and we loved it! Accommodations were very simple and spare, but clean and comfortable. This wasn't one of those luxury safaris you see in movies. But we saw the same animals and it was an unforgettable experience!
Adventure with KWSS
Being my Second safari in africa,i wanted to try tracking the Gorillas .I booked the Five days Bwindi impenetrable and Queen Elizabeth Safari with KWSS and OT. I paid in advance 8 months earlier for the permit.
I booked a safari to join a larger group and our driver /guide David briefed us what to encounter on this countryside adventure .He would Stop the vehicle at any time in case you see something of interest worth taking photographs .We finally caught them doing their daily activities ,playing ,resting and feeding their young ones. The experience was awesome
This was a memorable moment with them and an experience worth your money and time.I recommend KWSS as they are reliable and deliver on their promise.

A great place to switch-off!
I stumbled on Kenya Walking Safaris on 22nd Dec 2016 and they made us a family booking the same day at the Mara Sekenani Luxury Tented Camp. They organised my booking and we were picked by a very friendly tour guide ( John) who was very knowledgable and polite. Our stay at the the camp was great with hospitable staff and great food. Its the place to swith-off with pin drop silence after the hussle and bussle from town. Thanks to Kenya Walking for getting me a booking in such short notice.
Regards,
Joniz Wheelz

Very good and reliable. Recommende
We got a 12 days tour. Everything according to what was hired. We made part of the payment in advance and the remaining in Nairobi. Mr Otieno was very correct and kind. Good lodges with nice food. Tented camps are very good and confortable. Lodges located in wonderful sites with fantastic landscapes. Good car cleaned everyday. They have Toyota AWD vans made specially for safaris. Extraordinary tour guide, very careful driver, with perfect knowledge of the environment and animals. Very kind people everywhere. If your time is short go to Masai Mara where you can see more animals. Amboseli is a wonderful wetland very interesting as well. If you have time take the full tour. We will be back to go to Uganda. But always keep in mind that it is a safari in Africa not a coty tour in Paris. Lots of dust and unpaved roads. Road side restaurants could be better but I think that there are not too many options. Go and enjoy!

Well organised trip of na lifetime (Kenya,Uganda and Tanzania)
KWSS was referred to me by a friend,Nothing outweighs best assurances from sources you can trust, above all i was not disappointed.I went ahead and booked my safari with them,KWSS,.The planning and booking process was smooth with suggestions and adjustments which Otieno was the best.
We came up with a comprehensive itinerary tailored to our specific requests ,generally the organisation was smooth and quick. On the actual trip ,Benson was professional and very supportive, the trip was good overall and i enjoyed every experience. He became my friend and made me feel at home. The campsites were standard and decent than expected, pure class.meals were great and delicious and i miss them .During daytime ,temperatures were sometimes too high considering a person coming from tropical weather and was not well adapted to it,but all was great.Thank you guys!!
The 17 Day Safari covered the major parks in kenya (Samburu ,Masai Mara,Amboseli lake Naivasha and lake nakuru ),Uganda( the main aim was the gorilla trek) and Tanzania (Lake Manyara,And Serengeti). We Were lucky to see all the big five in almost all parks. The good memories will remain with us for a long time.
Note:You Need enough time in Masai Mara.
The hotels, the campsites and places visited, everything was fantastic.
Thank you again
keep the good work.

A brilliant first safari experience and excellent value for money.
We had a great experience on a tour of Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha. The booking process was straightforward with easy communication by email with Mr Otieno. The safari itself was an incredible experience- our guide Newton was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we saw as much wildlife as possible- all of the Big Five. We opted for basic accommodation and we're really pleased with the options chosen. The food was also excellent- freshly prepared by Moses, our chef.
