Amazing experience from start to finish
5/5

What a great vacation. Mr. Otieno was great at organizing our tour. He also organized us a small tour the first day to see the giraffe Center and the animal orphanage with a great stop for lunch at the Carnivore restaurant. We had 3 days at the Mara at the Sekenani camp. Beautiful place with exceptional service and ambiance. We also went with the hot air ballon ride (a real must to do). From there we went to lake Naivasha and stayed at the Elsamere. Wow! The animals just walk through your backyard. (Giraffe and zebras just walk right by). Great service again here. David our driver was amazing and informative. I even lost (forgot my phone on the boat ride) my phone once and he found it for me. This was a great experience from beginning to end. I would highly recommend booking with KWSS

Well organized safari tour on which we managed to see all major wildlife animals
5/5

Me and my wife selected KWSS for our 8 days safari in Kenya. Responses from Mr. Otieno were very prompt even on weekends, safari program was adjusted to our individual needs with really competitive price. Safari tour was well organized, our guide Marcus is very knowledgeable in wildlife and birds, thanks to him we saw all animals that we originally expected.
Selected budget accommodations were reasonably equipped with private facilities and clean, no complains. Food prepared by our chef Moses was tasty and with reasonable choice, enjoyed that. However, selected restaurant where we had a few lunches on the way from one national park to another (I think in town called Mai Mahiu) could improve food quality and choice.

2 and a half day safari to Masai Mara
5/5

Had such an amazing time with KWSS. Everything that was explained in the itinerary was performed to a T, the hotel/camp accommodations, food and service was amazing, the safari itself was out of this world (saw all of the big 5 and many more) and most importantly my driver and tour guide for the trip Anthony was so awesome! He is the best tour guide I have ever had, always made sure I was comfortable and happy, went out of his way to do this multiple times, was great to chat with on the long drive and was extremely professional and I always felt like I was in GREAT hands. I would use this company again in a heartbeat, especially if I was guaranteed Anthony again as a guide because he was so great and I also consider him my friend after this trip. Thanks for everything KWSS for the utmost professionalism in communication and for this amazing tour! You had quite the employee in Anthony!!

8 days Samburu - Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha
5/5

We are a family of four including two children of 12 and 15 years. Planning the trip took a while as many companies offer safari tours. We decided to travel with KWSS due to excellent reviews here and on Tripadvisor and due to very fast and good communication with Mr. Otieno. KWSS also ended up with the best offer in the end, so it can be worth negotiating the price and accommodation styles. We ended up staying at Samburu game lodge, Lake Nakuru sopa lodge, Oserolodge and Naivasha kongoni lodge – all very excellent places to stay!
Our driver David picked us up in the airport and drove us to our good hotel in Nairobi (Mimosa court apartments). The next 4 days we had long drives in the van as the distance to Samburu and further to lake Nakuru and Masai Mara took longer than stated in the programme due to bad roads (plan 8 hours each way, not 5). However, you see a lot of Kenya on the way. We had great game drives in Samburu – a park very different from Masai Mara. Also good game around lake Nakuru (no flamingoes anymore though) and excellent game in Masai Mara. David was a very experienced and friendly guide, who could answer all questions we had.
We visited the Masai village and it was actually a great experience for us as a family. Yes – the sell stuff, but we don’t mind bringing home a souvenier and the money goes to the village. We payed entrance fee 20 $ per adult and 10 $ per child (after some negotiation). The walk in Hells gate was great also.
All in all 5 stars to KWSS! If you bring children younger than 12 I would consider doing less driving/fewer places to visit.

Experience of a lifetime
5/5

Outstanding. Africa is an experience of a lifetime, but a good tour company can make a big difference. Otieno at Kenya Walking Survivors was extremely helpful. I particularly appreciated his promptness in replying to our many messages.

KWS organized an excellent trip
5/5

I booked the trip online at a rather short notice. All aspects of the trip were handled very well by Mr. Otieno and we had a great time. Our guide, Shuma was very knowledgeable and we saw big five on the first day. The accommodations at Osero lodge were very comfortable and food excellent.

This was a fabulous trip that went beyond my expectations
5/5

Our trip to Africa was the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. I love Africa, it was better than I could have ever imagined. The people were wonderful and the animals were amazing. We really enjoyed our guides and Mr OT is an exceptional organizer with much patience for all my emails and questions. He was very informative and quick to respond.
My only regret is that I couldn’t stay. I am missing it terribly.
Thank you so much for helping me fulfill my life dream!!

The greatest tour of Africa EVER.
5/5

I have been on many tours of Africa and find this is by far the best. The knowledge of the guide, the accommodation and the variety of wildlife we saw was amazing. Definitely the best value for money on the market. All questions asked before the tour was answered immediately. The communication was brilliant. I have booked again to go in July 2018 and went for the first time with this tour company in February 2017. The fact that I keep going back with them speaks for itself. We saw the big five and many many more. We could not have been happier if we had spent twice as much. BRILLIANT BRILLIANT!!!!

Amazing Kenya!!
5/5

We are from Buenos Aires Argentina, this one was our first time in Africa and our first Safari and everything was wonderful!!
Kenya Walking Survivors was the perfect company, Mr. Otieno responded all our questions months ahead! Any Doubt about itinerary and payment was answered at perfection!
Our guide Benson was fantastic!!! 20 years experienced on safaris, we could see the Big Five and much more!! Comfortable vehicle and the itinerary very well plan around Amboseli, Nakuru, Masai Mara and Naivasha.
Kenya has the most incredible Parks and Animals in the world and also people are friendly, generous and kind.
We really recommend KWS as a serious and well trained company who works very hard to make everything work perfectly, the logistics for a safari is quite complex so we really apreciate the effort of KWS, if anything goes wrong they will solve it promptly.
We will choose them again for sure!
