A very advisable agency
We have just returned 3 families, 5 adults and 7 teenagers, and I look back and it seems like a dream. Mr. Otieno is a good professional: the hotels have been wonderful and the drivers have been, in general, very nice. We have seen many parks and finishing in Zanzibar was a great idea.
Of course not everything has been perfect .. but a 16-day trip, in which two countries are visited (with their respective borders) has its setbacks. The agency has responded very well. The quality / price ratio seemed to us the highest of all we are looking for.
If you are reading this review, I advise you to spend more than two nights in each park even if you visit less ... Tarangire and the two Tsavo are dispensable. Nakuro, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorogoro and Amboseli are essential, although the natives advise to visit the private reserves because there is less massification of cars inside the park.

JUST AWESOME, VERY MUCH CARING AND WONDERFUL TRAVEL AGENCY
We two friends went to visit Kenya and a little part of Tanzania on 28.07.2018 from India with Kenya Walking Survivors Ltd. I travel through out the year. Sometimes alone and sometimes with travel agencies. I never saw a nice travel agency like Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris Ltd. The owner Mr. Otieno is an wonderful person. He cared every little thing of our entire tour of 15 days. His every staff is very nice person and also very caring. Specially Mr. Ruben-- our safari guide cum driver is just awesome and very much knowledgeable. We saw the THE GREAT MIGRATION at SAND RIVER only because of him. We also saw LION-HUNTING at the time of safari only because of Ruben. We are really very much thankful to KWSS for those memorable days at NAIROBI, MASAIMARA, LAK NAIVASHA, AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK at KENYA and ZANZIBAR at TANZANIA. Once again thank you KWSS. I strongly recommend the tourists of all over the world to contact KWSS for memorable African Safari.

Experience that has forever changed me !!
Communication was spot on from the very beginning of my planning. Mr. O is always attentive and very fast to respond to all of my emails throughout the months leading up to my trip.
My guide Dalton(Ali) was an absolute joy to spend 10 days with. He was very knowledgeable with everything having to do with Kenya, from the animals, the countryside, and the people. He made the long drives between reserves very enjoyable with his whitty conversation. Traveling alone, I felt completely safe in my surroundings with Dalton. I was able to see all of the animals that I envisioned seeing while I was there. There were absolutely no disappointments. I highly recommend Dalton as you’re number one guide in Kenya. A guide can Make or break your Safari experience and mine was beyond amazing. I can’t wait to plan a trip back for I am forever changed having visited Kenya. I was very sad to leave !

Great First Time Experience in Kenya, all to the credit of our guide George and KWSS
It was a 10 days private tour for me and my wife. The initial communication with Otineo was smooth. The itinerary and accommodation arranged by KWSS all turned out great. Our guide George had been most friendly and knowledgeable. He knew where best to go within the enormous parks and would always on his own initiative move to the best position for us to watch and take photographs of the interesting creatures. It rained very heavily on several occasions and some of the roads were extremely bumpy but George always drove safe and as steady as possible. It was really great value for the package tour we chose.

Brilliant holiday with very experienced tour guides, excellent accommodation, good value for money.
It was a great experience with very good driver and guide. We saw everything that we wanted to see. As an older person I would thoroughly recommend this safari. The accommodation was excellent and the food great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It is the best value for money on the market. I have been with this company many times and would certainly go with them again.

Brilliant!
This was our second trip with Kenya Walking Survivors. We enjoyed ourselves so much the first time that we decided to return.
This time we had an itinerary designed for us based on what places we wanted to visit.
Our driver, John was good natured with a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh. He did everything he could to ensure we had a good time. We didn’t just have a good time, we had a wonderful time.
KWS offers great value for money. The accommodation, while not 5 Star was nevertheless very good. Clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff and good food.
A special mention to Sekenani Lodge in Masai Mara for the care they gave to one of our group who fell ill. I doubt she would have had better in a medical facility. Grace and her staff went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable and looked after. Even checking on her at regular intervals.
As stated earlier this was our second trip with KWS and I have nodoubt it won’t be our last.
Mr OT, who handles enquiries and bookings replies to all emails quickly and efficiently.
If you are contemplating a trip to Kenya I highly recommend Kenya Walking Survivors. I doubt you will find better value for money anywhere else.

Amazing Tour
This is the second trip to Kenya with KWSS. This trip was a tailor made tour to Samburu & Maasia Mara, Mr OT was very accommodating with booking this trip. We got to meet him before the start of our tour & he is as lovely in person as I thought he would be.
John our driver/guide was a lovely man with a great sense of humour. We saw some breathtaking things including Leopards mating in the Maasia Mara. This was the highlight of my trip.
We would not hesitate to book with KWSS again & are already hoping to go back next year.
This company are one of the cheapest & do not skimp on service. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Amazing 6 day safari
From the beginning Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris were attentive and polite with their follow ups. The 6 day safari to Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli exceeded our expectations. Mr Otieno and our guide and driver Johnson were great. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Professional and fair prices!!!!
When we decided to visit Africa we started to send emails to several agencies to see how much would it cost our ideal trip. We wanted to do Kenya and Tanzania. Kenya walking survivor's safaris not only had the best and fair prices but also answered all our emails very quickly. Everything, and I mean everything, was organized and executed perfectly!!! In Kenya we visited Masai Mara, lake nakuru, lake naivasha ( our tour guide recommended us to go, it was on our way to other park but really is not worth it) and Amboseli. We got to see everything except the leopard in those parks. In Tanzania, we went to Serengeti, lake manyara (not worth it), ngorongoro and we climbed mount meru. We got to see everything, including the leopard in those parks except the rhino (they are really difficult to see, we only got to see them once in lake nakuru). All the accomodations were fantastic, great service and great rooms. The trekking part we did it with a company called Kiki holidays (also arranged by Kenya walking survivor's) and went perfectly. To sum up, Kenya walking survivor's is a professional company with fair prices that I would definitely recommend to all.
