We are so glad that we chose Zanzi Trekking and Safari Tour as our travel company for our 10 days and 8 nights tour in Kenya and Tanzania. The company exceeded our expectations in every way. From the first day to the eighth day, the manager, Honest, and our guides ensured that our journey was smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Honest also helped us coordinate the airport pickup driver to make our travel experience more seamless. The guides in Kenya and Tanzania were excellent and they made sure we had a memorable game drive experience and always found the best locations for us to take close-up photos of the wildlife. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well prepared, and the meals provided were also very good. We were also provided with plenty of cold water to ensure that we stayed hydrated throughout the day's tour. At the end of the tour, Honest even made a point to visit us and even visited the hotel to make sure everything went well. We were surprised to learn that we were his first Malaysian customers! Our 7-day Lemosho Route tour to Kilimanjaro was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we started the trek, we were blown away by the incredible dedication and support of our team. The porters worked tirelessly to ensure our comfort, carrying our gear and setting up camp ahead of our arrival at every stop. They were truly the backbone of this adventure, and we couldn't have done it without them.
A huge shoutout goes to our amazing guides, August and Lazaro. Their professionalism, knowledge of the mountain, and encouragement were unmatched. They knew just how to pace us and keep our spirits high throughout the trek. Whether it was sharing interesting facts about the route, keeping us motivated during the challenging parts, or just their warm and friendly personalities, August and Lazaro made the journey so much more enjoyable.

Zanzi Trekking exceeded our expectations in every way. Justin and Honest made sure to have briefing sessions with us before each of our treks to Mt Meru and Kili. They checked our gear and gave us a thorough view of what our schedule would be like. Every part of the experience was better than I could have imagined. The food was amazing, and it’s all even more impressive considering that the chef, Dastan, and porters can bring all that delicious food up to 4500 meters elevation for us! Our team of porters (Calvin, Dominick, Lazaro, Matayo, Preygod, Elisha, and Tumani) were amazing and attentive to all our needs. Calvin provided excellent service, helping us to wake up in the morning and serving us meals, tea, snacks etc. Dominick and Lazaro accompanied us to the summits and were always there to make sure we had all the help we needed to ensure we got to the top! Last but not least, our guides were absolutely amazing. Justin, our main guide for Meru and Kili was so knowledgable and encouraging. He always was there to make sure we were happy, healthy, and equipped to make it to each summit. David was our assistant guide for Kili, and his good attitude and encouragement was very welcome. Getting to the summit of these mountains is no easy task, but this team made it so much more possible for us.

It was the most amazing experience ever! The whole Zanzi trekking team is fantastic, Honest followed us from our first day in Tanzania, he came to our hotel to explain everything about the Safari we were going to do and at the end of the days he came back to toast with us to this fantastic experience.
I was very skeptical at the beginning because a friend of mine had had a bad experience (scam) with another companion but they were special, they reassured me and helped me with the whole organization of the trip right from the start. Very helpful and kind.
The lodges they booked for the nights in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro are truly spectacular.

As part of my last minute plan to do a Kilimanjaro hike & African Safari I received 5 quotes. Zanzi was the most competive quote. The good news is I definitely got very good bang for my buck for the hike & safari, plus I was outfitted, at a very reasonable cost, for extra clothing at a hire shop. The 6 day Lemosho hike was great. Among the highlights were the scenary & experience of course. Plus the care and attention to detail by my guide George, to my fitness, safety and health, and ultimately I'm happy to say- my successful summit. (Not bad for a 56 year old that is an occasional exerciser back home...). The rest of the team were friendly, welcoming & finely tuned to their roles, along with showing a real sense of camaraderie & fun together. Honest is the boss behind the scenes. He was in regular contact before the hike & safari, & afterwards too... In summary book with these guys!! Once you successfully summit and complete the hike, and safari should you choose, you'll be very happy you did!!
