Trustworthy, knowledgeable and good drivers
We used Cspan tours to pick us up at the airport in Nairobi, take us on safari and bring us to our destination in Kisumu. The drivers are very good, friendly and knowledgeable about more than animals. At the safari, they were determined that we should see all the animals and the big five and we really came up and close to the animals. We really felt we got good value for the money and had a really good experience. We will use them again and can really recommend them.

Rufus can find all of the animals and we feel totally safe when we are with him on the tour.
We have been on several safaris with Cspan Tours and we have never been disappointed. Safety is of the utmost importance which was a big deal for me as we had kids with us. We got to see the Big Five and many more of God’s amazing creatures. We can’t wait to call on Cspan Tours the next time we travel to Kenya.

Cspan Tours and Travel was hired by my organization to introduce some members of my mission team to Kenya. The team only had two and a half days to experience as much of Kenya as was possible for such short duration. From the planning phase to the time the team arrived in Nairobi, Rufus was professional and honest when providing information in a timely manner. The team had nothing but total praise and gratitude to their drive/tour guide. They ere very impressed with his knowledge and patience. This is my fifth tour with Cspan Tours and Travel and they are always highly recommended.

I have know Rufus (the owner of Cspan) for the over ten years that I have been traveling in Africa. He and his team are our only source for not only safari travel but also general transport around all of east Africa. I had preveously used another guide who was good but after using Cspan once I now understand how a great safari outfit should be run.
Why?
1. Rufus and his team always put safety first. I even trust him enough that I have let my teen kids on his safaris without me.
2. Trust...it is nerve-wracking sending a large deposit halfway across the world for travel. Cspan will always be honorable in their dealings. Rufus knows that he has to take care of his reputation and that means dealing with people in an honest and fair way. Rufus spends much time with Europeans, North Americans, and Asians and understands the expectations that different cultures have in their business dealings.
3. Quality...the drivers are experts and know the parks like they know their own homes. No safari company will guarantee specific sightings but with Cspan you will have the very best chance to see the most wildlife. Rufus knows that he goes to the parks all the time but you may only get one shot and he wants you to get your best trip. With Cspan I have seen the "big 5" along with dozens of other amazing species.
4. Options...Cspan works with the best camps and lodgings in the game (best does not always mean the most expensive!) They can offer great budget options as well as amazing top shelf luxury camps for the most sophisticated traveler. Either way you will get the best value for your dollar/euro/pound/yen/etc.
Cspan is my only choice for tours in Africa

CSPAN understood exactly what we were looking for and made it happen!
We knew a couple of highlights we wanted to see while in Kenya and Tanzania, but we didn't know anything about how best to see them and what we could be missing out on. Rufus worked with us for months in advance of our trip to figure out the right itinerary for us and included several highlights we would have never known about.
Once we arrived in Kenya, our luggage didn't make it, but Rufus and our tour guide worked tirelessly to pick up bags when they arrived in Nairobi, arranged for delivery of another bag, and even took us shopping for clothes for my son when his bag never arrived. Rufus caught up with us in person during our tour to make sure we were being taken care of to be sure we met in person after the long months of planning via e-mail and WhatsApp.
We were amazed by how knowledgeable our guide was in all of the parks, and he made sure we felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. The transfer across the border from Kenya to Tanzania would have been very confusing, but our guides stood by our side and literally walked us through the process.
I have recommended CSPAN to others already who have been interested in our trip, and I will continue to recommend Rufus and his team to anyone else looking for an affordable luxury African vacation with good people I trust.
